Abstract

Kemacetan yang terjadi pada ruas Jl. Piet A. Tallo khususnya pada Jembatan Liliba dan simpang tiga tak bersinyal menjadi salah satu titik kemacetan parah di Kota Kupang. Perlu dilakukan evaluasi mengenai kinerja simpang dan ruas jalan serta menerapakan alternatif solusi. Data primer yang diperoleh menggunakan hasil survey lokasi dan data sekunder sebagai pendukung analisis data. Metode perhitungan dan analisis menggunakan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (1997). Hasil penelitian menunjukan kinerja simpang tiga tak bersinyal dan ruas jalan Jembatan Liliba pada kondisi eksisting tidak memenuhi syarat minimal pelayanan dengan hasil derajat kejenuhan simpang (DS) = 1,29, serta tundaan simpang (D) sebesar 97,67 detik/smp dan peluang antrian (QP%) sebesar 141,05%, serta hasil derajat kejenuhan (DS) ruas Jembatan Liliba sebesar 1,02. Terdapat 2 alternatif solusi pemecahan masalah yaitu alternatif 1 dengan menambahkan median pada jalan mayor simpang dan alternatif 2 dengan merubah geometrik ruas jalan mayor Jl. Piet A. Tallo. Hasil penerapan alternatif 1 masih kurang efektif dikarenakan hanya simpang tiga saja yang mengalami peningkatan kinerja dengan (DS) simpang = 0,61, D = 10,24 det/smp dan QP% = 32,72% sedangkan DS ruas jembatan masih pada nilai 1,02. Sementara hasil alternatif 2 menunjukan hasil kinerja simpang meningkat dengan nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) = 0,66 dengan tundaan simpang (D) sebesar 10,66 det/smp dan peluang antrian (QP%) sebesar 36,91% dan kinerja ruas Jl. Piet A. Tallo pada Jembatan Liliba meningkat dengan hasil derajat kejenuhan (DS) untuk arah barat – timur sebesar 0,41 dan untuk arah timur – barat sebesar 0,47.

Abstract

Masalah perparkiran pada Gedung Fakultas Teknik (FT) Universitas Katolik Widiya Mandira Kupang (UNWIRA) dikarenakan tingginya volume parkir yang tidak sebanding dengan fasilitas parkir yang memadai. Penyelesaian masalah ini adalah dengan melakukan desain fasilitas parkir yang sesuai dengan karateristik parkir pengguna gedung. Data diperoleh dari pengamatan lokasi serta pembagian kuesioner kepada pengguna gedung. Hasil pengamatan pada lokasi menunjukkan bahwa lahan parkir yang tersedia belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik serta fasilitas parkir yang sangat tidak memadai. Hasil pemilihan moda penggunda gedung, sebanyak 73,4% mahasiswa dan 43% dosen/ pegawai menggunakan motor dan sebanyak 1% mahasiswa dan 57% dosen/ pegawai menggunakan mobil. Karateristik parkir pengguna adalah kecenderungan parkir pada tempat teduh dan sedekat mungkin dengan pintu masuk. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah adanya penambahan lahan parkir pada sisi kiri dan kanan gedung dan dilengkapi dengan kanopi parkir, jalur sirkulasi serta jalur pedestrian berkanopi. Kapasitas ruang parkir setelah dilakukan desain ulang dapat memenuhi volume parkir yang ada, dengan jumlah SRP motor sebanyak 340 dan SRP mobil sebanyak 40. Penyuluhan hasil desain fasilitas parkir ini direspon dengan baik oleh perwakilan Fakultas Teknik dan Program Studi.

Abstract

Salah satu indikator kinerja yang dapat meningkatkan kesuksesan perusahaan adalah kompetensi sumber daya manusia. Hal ini menjadi faktor penting bagi perusahaan-perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang konstruksi termasuk PT. Sebiz Bhadrika Maju. Karya pertama perusahaan ini yaitu pembangunan perumahan premium tipe 42 yang disebut Griya Sebiz Pratama dan diharapkan sukses menarik minat para pembeli serta memberikan kepuasan dan kenyamanan serta keamanan bagi penghuninya. Sebagai perusahaan konstruksi baru, PT. Sebiz Bhadrika Maju membutuhkan bantuan pendampingan terhadap pekerjaan struktur Griya Sebiz Pratama. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya staf ahli teknik pada perusahaan tersebut. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan oleh tim yang terdiri dari tiga orang dengan masing-masing waktu pendampingan selama 6 jam per minggu. Adapun kegiatan pendampingan lebih ditekankan pada koordinasi dengan pekerja maupun pemilik proyek (owner). Tahapan-tahapan kegiatan pendampingan berupa pemeriksaan terhadap gambar rencana, data-data bahan material dan konstruksi; diskusi bersama pekerja mengenai metode pengerjaan; serta pendampingan pekerjaan. Beberapa peraturan dan standar yang dijadikan acuan kegiatan pendampingan adalah Pedoman Teknis Rumah dan Bangunan Gedung Tahan Gempa, SNI 8140:2016, Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No. 24 tahun 2008, serta beberapa literatur lainnya.

Abstract

Earthquakes pose a significant challenge in structural engineering, as they expose buildings to strong lateral forces that can cause severe damage or even collapse. One important aspect of this analysis is to determine the lateral forces and base shear acting on the structure. The purpose of this study is to obtain the values of lateral forces and base shear in structures using the yield point spectra method. The yield point spectra is a graph that relates the yield shear strength coefficient (Cy) and the displacement at yield (Δy) with a certain ductility, Aschheim and Black (2000). The calculation results show that the base level shear determined using the yield point spectrum is smaller Viβ = 1599.93 kN compared to the base level shear obtained using SNI 1726-2019 which is greater Vi = 1656.57 kN. The level shear value at the top level with the equation suggested by Chao et al. (2007) and the Building Seismic Safety Council (2009) is higher by Fi,β = 640.56 kN, compared to the level shear value determined using SNI 1726-2019, smaller Fi = 444.75 kN according to the level shear value based on the shear ratio. It can be concluded that the smaller the base shear and upper level shear in the building structure, the smaller the risk of damage or collapse of the structure due to earthquakes.

Abstract

The Kuanino area in Kupang City is an area that is dense with goods and services trading activities. The ease of access to this area is supported by various existing transportation infrastructure facilities. One thing of concern is access to pedestrian infrastructure, which often gets the last priority in the development of road transport infrastructure. Pedestrian facilities can be said to be good if they meet technical planning standards that accommodate all levels of society, including people with disabilities. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the fulfillment of existing pedestrian facilities to the minimum technical service standards based on applicable regulations and guidelines. The research method uses an evaluation of the existing condition of pedestrian facilities against the standard criteria for pedestrian facilities. 03/PRT/M/2014. The results of the study show that the safety aspects (height differences and guiding tiles for people with disabilities), accessibility (disruption to the sidewalk), connectivity (crossing facilities) and support still do not meet the technical standard criteria, so it is necessary to improve pedestrian facilities on Jl. Gen. Sudirman (Kuanino) based on the 3E model, namely engineering, education and enforcement.

Abstract

The condition of road infrastructure in East Penfui Village is inadequate on several road segments because road improvements are not commensurate with village growth. One of the village infrastructure improvement plans is improvements to the Kaniti Road section (Kaniti Bridge). Composite pavement planning on this section needs to be done as an alternative to selecting the right type of pavement. This research method uses a calculation method based on the rigid pavement layer thickness planning guidelines Pd-T-14-2003 and calculates flexible pavement layer thickness using component analysis methods. The design results are Jointed Reinforced Concrete Pavement with a design age of 20 years without concrete shoulders, a concrete slab thickness of 22 cm, a slab width of 5.5 m, a slab connection length of 5 m, shrinkage joints, and spokes and concrete transverse and longitudinal reinforcement. The plate thickness is 22 cm and meets the requirements of the fatigue and erosion analysis results. The results of designing the thickness of the composite pavement layer with a design life of 20 years consist of subgrade, sub-base in the form of aggregate A 10 cm thick, LMC (Lean Mix-Concrete) 15 cm thick, a surface layer in the form of a concrete slab 22 cm thick, and HRS (Hot Rolled Sheet) asphlalt is 5 cm thick..

Abstract

The Gor Flobamora-Kejora Road section is one of the alternative routes connecting Oebufu and Tofa District. Damage that occurs on this route is a major factor in disrupting accessibility, comfort and safety. Inconsistencies in planning with construction and use of pavement often cause damage, so an evaluation is needed in determining actions to improve the quality of road service life. This study aims to assess the condition of the road pavement and redesign the pavement. The road condition assessment method uses the 1990 Bina Marga method and the Surface Distress Index (SDI) method, while to redesign the pavement using the 2017 Road Pavement Design Manual Method. The results of the analysis show that the highest SDI value is 115 with minor damage conditions, it is recommended for road rehabilitation, while the Bina Marga method shows the highest Priority Sequence value is 6, with recommendations for periodic maintenance. The dominant type of damage is potholes, with a percentage of damage of 31.56%. The proposed pavement redesign uses flexible pavement with a layer thickness of 4 cm AC WC, 6 cm AC BC, 8 cm AC Base, and 15 cm Class A LPA

Abstract

Two adjacent intersections on Cak Doko Street, Oebobo District, Kupang City cause traffic jams, so evaluation and simulation of Traffic Management and Engineering recommendations are needed. The analytical method used is intersection evaluation using the PTV Vissim 9.0 simulation programs and PKJI 2023. The results of the PTV Vissim 9.0 evaluation will be calibrated and validated and then used as a basis for recommended traffic management and engineering simulations. The intersection evaluation results for intersection delay values at intersections 1 and 2 are 15,392 sec/veh and 13,738 sec/veh (PKJI 2023) and 41,755 sec/veh and 28,379 sec/veh (PTV Vissim), while the respective LOS values are LOS E and LOS D. The most effective traffic menagement is recommendation 2, namely the installation of a median with a U-turn ban at both ends of the median, with the performance results for intersections 1 and 2 being LOS B with intersection delays of 11,497 sec/veh and 10,565 sec/veh, respectively.Dua simpang tiga yang berdekatan pada Jl. Cak Doko, Kecamatan Oebobo, Kota Kupang menyebabkan terjadinya kemacetan sehingga perlu adanya evaluasi serta simulasi rekomendasi Manajemen Dan Rekayasa Lalu Lintas (MRLL). Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah evaluasi simpang menggunakan simulasi program PTV Vissim 9.0 dan PKJI 2023. Hasil evaluasi PTV Vissim 9.0 akan dikalibrasi dan divalidasi untuk kemudian digunakan sebagai dasar simulasi manajemen dan rekayasa lalu lintas yang akan direkomendasikan. Hasil evaluasi simpang untuk nilai tundaan simpang pada simpang 1 dan 2 masing-masing sebesar 15,392 det/kend dan 13,738 det/kend (PKI 2023) serta 41,755 det/kend dan 28,379 det/kend (PTV Vissim), sedangkan nilai LOS masing-masing adalah LOS E dan LOS D. Rekomenasi MRLL yang paling efektif dilakukan adalah rekomendasi 2 yakni pemasangan median dengan larangan putar balik pada kedua ujung median, dengan hasil kinerja simpang 1 dan 2 adalah LOS B dengan tundaan simpang masing-masing sebesar 11,497 det/kend dan 10,565 det/kend.

Abstract

Poor performance of on-street parking facilities at Gen. Sudirman Kuanino Street, Kupang, can disrupt traffic flow and cause various problems. The research method is to evaluate the performance of on-street parking facilities and their impact on road performance, transportation costs, and the environment. The results show that the parking index exceeds the parking space capacity, with the highest values of 150% (left) and 138% (right). This is due to the parking volume of building material store operational vehicles (pick-ups and trucks). The resulting impact is a decrease in road performance with a degree of saturation (DS) at 1.22. Hence, it affects transportation costs and vehicle exhaust emissions exceeding regulatory limits. The recommended structuring strategy is the application of rules to control the volume, space, and time of parking by prohibiting parking from building material store operational vehicles, requiring minimum availability of off-street parking spaces by every store, applying a progressive parking fee system, and planting green plants. If the structuring strategy is implemented, the highest parking index results are 84% (left) and 96% (right), and the road performance results increase from the DS value of 1.22 to 0.71.

Abstract

The risk of damage due to flooding can be prevented by mapping the area or scope of flood inundation. Flood characteristics in the form of inundation area, inundation depth and flow velocity need to be mapped so that they can become the basis for flood control planning. This research aims to analyze the level of flood vulnerability in Fahiluka village based on the characteristics of the floods that occur. Hydrological analysis shows a trend of increasing rainfall over the last 12 years due to the impact of global climate change. The results of flood simulations for return periods of 25, 50 and 100 years using Hec-Ras 2D version 5.0.7 software show that the area of the village that has the potential to be inundated is 500 ha, 750.29 ha; 1020 ha with flood depths varying between 0.5 m 4.25 m with medium-high hazard categories.
