Abstract

Masalah perparkiran pada Gedung Fakultas Teknik (FT) Universitas Katolik Widiya Mandira Kupang (UNWIRA) dikarenakan tingginya volume parkir yang tidak sebanding dengan fasilitas parkir yang memadai. Penyelesaian masalah ini adalah dengan melakukan desain fasilitas parkir yang sesuai dengan karateristik parkir pengguna gedung. Data diperoleh dari pengamatan lokasi serta pembagian kuesioner kepada pengguna gedung. Hasil pengamatan pada lokasi menunjukkan bahwa lahan parkir yang tersedia belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik serta fasilitas parkir yang sangat tidak memadai. Hasil pemilihan moda penggunda gedung, sebanyak 73,4% mahasiswa dan 43% dosen/ pegawai menggunakan motor dan sebanyak 1% mahasiswa dan 57% dosen/ pegawai menggunakan mobil. Karateristik parkir pengguna adalah kecenderungan parkir pada tempat teduh dan sedekat mungkin dengan pintu masuk. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah adanya penambahan lahan parkir pada sisi kiri dan kanan gedung dan dilengkapi dengan kanopi parkir, jalur sirkulasi serta jalur pedestrian berkanopi. Kapasitas ruang parkir setelah dilakukan desain ulang dapat memenuhi volume parkir yang ada, dengan jumlah SRP motor sebanyak 340 dan SRP mobil sebanyak 40. Penyuluhan hasil desain fasilitas parkir ini direspon dengan baik oleh perwakilan Fakultas Teknik dan Program Studi.

Abstract

Salah satu indikator kinerja yang dapat meningkatkan kesuksesan perusahaan adalah kompetensi sumber daya manusia. Hal ini menjadi faktor penting bagi perusahaan-perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang konstruksi termasuk PT. Sebiz Bhadrika Maju. Karya pertama perusahaan ini yaitu pembangunan perumahan premium tipe 42 yang disebut Griya Sebiz Pratama dan diharapkan sukses menarik minat para pembeli serta memberikan kepuasan dan kenyamanan serta keamanan bagi penghuninya. Sebagai perusahaan konstruksi baru, PT. Sebiz Bhadrika Maju membutuhkan bantuan pendampingan terhadap pekerjaan struktur Griya Sebiz Pratama. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya staf ahli teknik pada perusahaan tersebut. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan oleh tim yang terdiri dari tiga orang dengan masing-masing waktu pendampingan selama 6 jam per minggu. Adapun kegiatan pendampingan lebih ditekankan pada koordinasi dengan pekerja maupun pemilik proyek (owner). Tahapan-tahapan kegiatan pendampingan berupa pemeriksaan terhadap gambar rencana, data-data bahan material dan konstruksi; diskusi bersama pekerja mengenai metode pengerjaan; serta pendampingan pekerjaan. Beberapa peraturan dan standar yang dijadikan acuan kegiatan pendampingan adalah Pedoman Teknis Rumah dan Bangunan Gedung Tahan Gempa, SNI 8140:2016, Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No. 24 tahun 2008, serta beberapa literatur lainnya.

Abstract

Kupang City has development potential because it is still classified as a developing city. In general, the Wirasakti Hospital building construction project in the city of Kupang has implemented the project management concept well, but there are still a number of things that need to be considered in order to use costs efficiently and effectively. The building elements that are reviewed and analyzed are the stair elements in the building project by considering several aspects, namely the cost aspect, the comfort aspect and the aesthetic aspect. This research presents an algorithm for choosing the best alternative field among various stair design structures (staircase types) using Life Cycle Cost. Economic efficiency (removing and replacing secondary functions), landscaping, construction capabilities, function of building elements (replacing systems) are considered in the planning of stair elements. Replacing the system, eliminating and replacing secondary functions are evaluated for each plan for each alternative plan with optimal design taking into account the life cycle cost (LCC). The results of the Life Cycle Cost analysis are obtained as alternative stairs which are selected using stair beam materials with calcide/calcistair, stair plates with hollow iron and glass railings & stainless steel pipes.

Abstract

This study deals with differences in unit price analysis of work items on the planned budget and implementation due to changes in the coefficient based on labor and equipment production in implementation. This observation was carried out for five (5) work items on the Kupang City Outer Ring Road Preservation Project. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in the coefficient of labor and equipment and to know the difference in unit price analysis of work items in the budget plan and the implementation due to changes in the coefficient based on the production of labor and equipment in implementation. The data needed to complete this research is primary data obtained from direct observation in the field, namely the effective working time in the field, the number of workers and equipment, the workforce and tools during the time observed and secondary data obtained from PT. Alamindah Cendanalestari namely the unit price analysis of work items and the coefficient of labor and equipment. From the description of the results of the analysis and discussion it is known that, the coefficient of labor in the implementation and the coefficient of labor estimated in the RAB has differences. The difference that occurs in the coefficient also causes the difference in unit price analysis. The difference in unit price analysis between RAB and implementation causes a change in profits.

Abstract

The Eklesia Mokdale Church located in East Rote Village suffered significant damage during the Seroja tropical cyclone. This church is the result of self-help which was also built independently by the people in the village. Even though quite a lot of men who live their work as builders, it turns out that there are still many who do not understand the concepts and steps for making buildings that are structurally strong, against earthquakes and strong winds. With this training, it is hoped that the community will understand and be able to build structurally strong buildings against earthquakes and strong winds.

Abstract

The implementation of construction projects often experiences obstacles that arise due to inconsistencies between what is planned and implementation in the field, one of which is changes in unit prices for labor and materials. This study only analyzes changes in unit prices for labor and materials, while equipment is not analyzed because equipment is considered a fixed cost that has been calculated previously in the early stages of project planning. This study aims to calculate how much the contribution of labor and material needs costs to costs, to find out changes in costs due to changes in unit prices for labor and materials. And to find out the changes in profits that occur due to changes in unit prices for labor and materials. The study began with the collection of initial data, namely volume, coefficient and unit price from the RAB data and calculations were carried out until changes in project costs and profits were found due to changes in unit prices. The results of this study indicate that changes in construction cause changes in costs and profits, the smaller the project costs, the greater the profits. Likewise, the greater the project costs, the smaller the profits will be.

Abstract

Abstrak   Pembangunan Bendungan Manikin merupakan langkah strategis nasional untuk meningkatkan ketahanan air di Pulau Timor yang rawan kekeringan berkepanjangan. Penilitian ini bertujuan menilai tingkat keberlanjutan proyek bendungan Manikin di Kabupaten Kupang menggunakan pendekatan Multidimensional Scaling (MDS). Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap lima dimensi keberlanjutan yaitu ekologi, ekonomi, sosial, teknologi dan kelembagaan. Data diperoleh melalui survei lapangan, wawancara stakeholder terkait, serta penilaian atribut keberlanjutan yang relevan dengan kondisi regional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa proyek pembangunan Bendungan Manikin berada pada kategori cukup berkelanjutan dengan indeks multidimensi sebesar 54,76. Dimensi ekologi, ekonomi dan sosial menunjukkan kinerja relatif lebih baik, sedangkan dimensi teknologi dan kelembagaan menjadi aspek paling sensitif dan memerlukan perhatian khusus. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa metode MDS efektif sebagai alat evaluasi keberlanjutan proyek infrastruktur yang masih dalam tahapan konstruksi untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan adaptif.   Kata Kunci: Pulau Timor, Bendungan Manikin, Keberlanjutan, Multidimensional Scaling, Ketahanan Air     Abstract   The construction of the Manikin Dam is a national strategic project aimed at enhancing water resilience on Timor Island, a region highly vulnerable to prolonged droughts. This study evaluates the sustainability level of the Manikin Dam project in Kupang Regency using a Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) approach. The assessment covers five sustainability dimensions: ecological, economic, social, technological, and institutional. Data were collected through field surveys, stakeholder interviews, and the evaluation of sustainability attributes relevant to regional drought conditions. The results indicate that the Manikin Dam project falls into the moderately sustainable category, with a multidimensional sustainability index of 54.76. The ecological, economic, and social dimensions show relatively better performance, while the technological and institutional dimensions are the most sensitive and require priority improvement. These findings confirm that MDS is an effective tool for evaluating the sustainability of infrastructure projects during the construction phase to support adaptive and informed decision-making.   Keywords: Timor Island, Manikin Dam, Sustainability, Multidimensional Scaling, Water Resilience

Abstract

Background: River flow characteristics play a crucial role in controlling erosion processes, especially in river segments adjacent to infrastructure. The Noelmina River at Km 62.3 Timor Raya Road experiences repeated bank erosion that threatens road stability and nearby public facilities. Objective: This study aims to analyze flow velocity, determine flow characteristics using the Froude and Reynolds numbers, and recommend appropriate riverbank protection structures to reduce erosion risk. Methods: A quantitative field survey was conducted at three observation points (upstream, bend, and downstream). Flow velocity was measured using a current meter at different depth intervals. Hydraulic characteristics were analyzed using average velocity calculations, the Froude number for flow regime classification, and the Reynolds number for flow-type determination. Results: The average flow velocities were 2.298 m/s (Point 1), 1.686 m/s (Point 2), and 1.062 m/s (Point 3), showing a decreasing trend along the river segment. All Froude numbers were below 1, indicating subcritical flow conditions. Reynolds number analysis showed transitional flow at Points 1 and 2, and laminar flow at Point 3. Higher velocities at the river bend indicate greater erosion potential. Conclusion: The river exhibits subcritical flow with varying transitional and laminar characteristics. Recommended mitigation measures include gabions, interlocking concrete blocks, retaining walls, and weirs to reduce flow energy and prevent further bank erosion.
