Abstract

Kesehatan merupakan salah satu dari parameter kesejahteraan manusia. Jika seseorang sakit, mereka akan mencoba memeriksakan diri ke dokter. Banyak penyakit memiliki gejala yang tidak spesifik, karena itu perlu pengetahuan untuk mendiagnose sebuah penyakit. Dokter merupakan faktor kunci dalam sistem pengobatan. Usia, gaya hidup dan polutan dapat menyebabkan penyakit degeneratif. Para degeneratif memerlukan perhatian seksama dengan pemantauan rutin. Sistem pengobatan konvensional masih membutuhkan interaksi dengan dokter secara langsung. Para dokter mendengarkan keluhan, bertanya, mendiagnosa, dan memberikan perawatan medis. Di sisi lain dengan terbatasnya jumlah dokter, distribusi yang tidak merata, dan jarak yang jauh menyebabkan praktek medis konvensional tidak efisien. Dokter dapat menerima hasil, mendiagnosa dan memberikan saran secara jarak jauh menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Layanan ini dapat mencakup pula kasus-kasus darurat dan layanan pendampingan.Berdasarkan masalah di atas, tujuan penelitian ini adalah terutama untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk komunikasi antara dokter dan pasien berbasis pada jaringan TCP/IP. Penekanan aplikasi dalam berbagai data yang dikirim (teks, audio, video dan file).Sistem pemeriksaan secara jarak jauh dapat diwujudkan dengan menggunakan bahan dan alat yang telah dikenal dengan baik oleh pengguna umum. Kesulitan untuk mengakses alamat IP dalam sistem ini dapat ditangani oleh penambahan jalur khusus virtual semisal Hamachi. Kecepatan komunikasi melalui LAN memberikan hasil sangat baik, memenuhi persyaratan  hampir semua fasilitas yang ada, sedangkan kecepatan komunikasi melalui internet sudah cukup untuk beberapa persyaratan sistem terutama yang yang tidak memerlukan kemampuan real-time.

Abstract

Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta (UTY) operates several computer laboratory rooms used daily by students according to their scheduled times. Sometimes, these rooms experience sudden schedule changes, causing conflicts with other room bookings. This research aims to employ an Augmented Reality (AR)-based application for monitoring the dynamic schedule of lab room usage. The method utilizes a marker-based AR application, tested through black box implementation. The application successfully reads markers at distances of 10–90 cm, tilt angles of 10–80 degrees, and light intensities ranging from 40 to 250 lux. Under these conditions, the markers are readable, and the application responds by displaying virtual objects. Users of the lab rooms can utilize this AR application to identify changes in the scheduled usage plans at UTY as they occur.

Abstract

The tourism industry in Indonesia continues to grow with the increasing interest of tourists in destinations offering authentic experiences. One of the challenges in this industry is the need for a fast and efficient reservation system, particularly for homestays, which are becoming increasingly popular. This study aims to develop an Android-based reservation application for accommodation and vehicle rentals using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The application is designed to provide convenience for tourists in booking accommodations and vehicles, as well as providing information on attractions around the accommodation. Additionally, a web-based admin dashboard was developed for administrators to manage reservation data more efficiently. The RAD method was chosen because it can accelerate the development process by going through the planning, design, construction, and cutover stages. The results from testing using the Black Box technique show that the application functions as expected. The application successfully implements features for reservations, vehicle rentals, and nearby attraction information, while integrating the Midtrans Payment Gateway to facilitate transaction processes.

Abstract

Mount Kerinci is one of the highest mountains in Indonesia that attracts many climbers every year. Proper management of climbing quotas is needed to maintain a balance between the number of climbers and environmental sustainability. However, the manual system currently used often causes uncertainty in quota availability, overbooking, and errors in calculation. To overcome this problem, this study develops an Android-based mobile application that uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method for booking climbing e-tickets. This application is designed to provide transparency and efficiency in managing climbing route quotas, allowing climbers to book tickets in real-time and helping managers manage quotas more effectively. This innovation is expected to optimize climbing quota management and improve the climber experience

Abstract

The Tunas Muda Early Childhood Education Student Attendance and Progress Recording Information System application is a digital platform designed to help teachers record student attendance and progress in a modern and efficient manner. Currently, the recording process is still done manually, causing various obstacles such as late reporting, data inaccuracy, and difficulties in comprehensively monitoring student progress. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The purpose of this research is to develop a system that can facilitate teachers in taking attendance and recording student progress and enable school principals to monitor attendance and progress data through graphical displays and statistical analysis. Data collection was conducted through direct interviews with teachers as the main users. The system was developed using Flutter SDK for the interface and Firebase Firestore as the database. The results of the study show that the application is capable of recording student attendance and progress in real time, generating reports in PDF format, and displaying attendance and progress analysis in an informative graphical form.

Abstract

Manual identification of fish species at fish auction sites (TPI) was often time-consuming and prone to inconsistencies, which affected economic valuation and data recording accuracy. This study proposed an automated fish classification system to address these challenges using the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) method. The system was designed to assist the fish identification process in the Java Sea, with a case study conducted at the Karanganyar Fish Auction Site. The proposed approach employed computer vision techniques, beginning with image pre-processing steps such as segmentation and cropping to isolate fish objects. Subsequently, two complementary feature extraction methods were combined to obtain a robust representation of each fish image: Hu Moments for capturing holistic shape features that are invariant to scale and rotation, and Local Binary Pattern (LBP) for extracting detailed surface texture information. This hybrid feature representation provided a comprehensive descriptor for every fish instance. The dataset consisted of 1,000 images categorized into 10 main fish species (e.g., tongkol, bawal, and others). Model training and hyperparameter optimization were performed using a k-fold cross-validation scheme, followed by an 80:20 train-test evaluation. The experimental results demonstrated that the KNN model with the optimal k value achieved an overall classification accuracy of 98.50% on the unseen test set. These findings indicated that the integration of Hu Moments and LBP features was highly effective in distinguishing fish species and showed strong potential for practical implementation as a fast, objective, and reliable identification tool at fish auction sites such as Karanganyar Fish Auction Site

Abstract

Manual attendance systems, which continue to be implemented in many institutions, are vulnerable to manipulation and require significant time. This research proposes an automated facial recognition attendance system optimized to address the unique challenges posed by CCTV cameras installed at a height of 3 meters. The system integrates three main components: YOLOv8m for face detection, ArcFace for 512-dimensional feature extraction, and a Support Vector Machine (SVM) with a Polynomial kernel for identity classification. The dataset (5 classes) was augmented using 20 augmentations per image and was split into a 70% training and 30% testing ratio. An image preprocessing pipeline, including CLAHE, denoising, and sharpening, was applied to enhance the input image quality. Experimental results demonstrate high classification performance, achieving 93.7% accuracy, 0.938 precision, 0.937 recall, and an F1-Score of 0.935. Confusion matrix and PCA analysis identified that the primary misclassification occurred between the E005_employee5 and E002_employee2 classes, correlating with feature overlap. Computationally, the system achieved a throughput of 7.2 FPS on the testing hardware. The system is proven to be accurate and functional for the attendance task, although its real-time performance (FPS) is highly dependent on hardware acceleration.

Abstract

Penentuan tingkat kematangan Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) kelapa sawit secara konvensional masih bergantung pada pengamatan visual manual yang bersifat subjektif dan rentan terhadap inkonsistensi, sehingga berpotensi menurunkan rendemen minyak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem klasifikasi kematangan buah sawit yang akurat, ringan, dan mampu beroperasi sepenuhnya secara offline pada perangkat mobile menggunakan implementasi MobileNetV2. Metode yang digunakan adalah transfer learning yang dioptimasi melalui teknik Post-Training Quantization ke dalam format TensorFlow Lite. Model dilatih menggunakan dataset citra lapangan dari Kalimantan Timur yang diperluas melalui augmentasi data dan diintegrasikan ke dalam aplikasi berbasis Flutter. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan model mampu mencapai akurasi 89,0%. Proses kuantisasi berhasil mereduksi ukuran model secara signifikan sebesar 84,6% (dari 13 MB menjadi 2 MB) dan menghasilkan latensi inferensi rata-rata 120 ms pada perangkat Android kelas menengah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi model CNN ringan yang dikuantisasi merupakan solusi praktis dan efisien untuk mendukung penerapan pertanian cerdas di lingkungan dengan sumber daya terbatas.
