Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) have proven to contribute to the Indonesian economy, including of course the Kemplang MSME in Mariana Ilir Village. Through marketing socialization on product digitization as a form of community service, we conducted direct interviews with Kemplang MSMEs and several residents and representatives of the Mariana Ilir Village government. I got a lot of information regarding the problems of MSME actors and the obstacles in product marketing, all of which aim to improve the social welfare and socio-economic conditions of business actors. The strategy adopted by MSME players is to develop partnerships with large companies; establishing and enhancing cooperative relations with suppliers, modern retail and the government; increase the competitiveness of both branding and packaging; utilizing information technology as a means of promotion and expanding digital market networks; maintain and improve the quality of products that are healthier in the context of price competition; improve the quality of human resources in terms of management and marketing; and manage the supply chain of raw materials and finished products effectively and efficiently. Everything has started to be done by these business actors after receiving socialization, but not so optimal. Then there are also several other obstacles faced by business actors in carrying out product marketing, namely the lack of product development, marketing with social media, and simple bookkeeping

Abstract

Empowerment activities are an approach to increasing the abilities and potential of women songket woven cloth craftsmen to be more empowered, such as increasing skills, increasing market access, and encouraging progress in socio-economic conditions. The findings of the FGD results were that there were still obstacles in product marketing, so community service activities were carried out in the form of training and assistance with marketing and promotional strategies to increase the value and quality of the products produced so that they could drive increased economic income. The aim of this service activity is to encourage women to participate actively in decision making, as well as to increase the selling value of songket woven cloth by using profitable marketing strategies to improve welfare. Empowerment activities consist of three stages, including the planning stage, implementation stage and monitoring and evaluation. The marketing strategy carried out by the community consists of 1). Creating brand identity; 2). Attend training and workshops; 3). Collaborate with designers; 4). Digital marketing; 5). Take part in exhibitions and events. Thus, this service activity provides positive value for the community and motivates craftsmen to be independent and able to carry out marketing activities in a sustainable manner so that songket woven cloth products can be massively recognized not only by domestic consumers but also abroad.

Abstract

The aim of community service activities is to provide education to the community regarding the importance of a healthy, beautiful and clean environment. Environmental cleanliness is the main key in maintaining health. The implementing method for this activity uses socialization and social action. The activity is carried out for one week starting from observation, licensing, implementation, closing the activity, and making a report. The results of service activities provide a positive influence on the surrounding community, namely having an awareness of protecting the environment and implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, a clean environment and good sanitation will help prevent the spread of infectious diseases and create a safe and comfortable environment for children.
