Abstract

Hepatitis is caused by various factors such as viral infections, toxic substances such as alcohol, certain drugs. Many cases of hepatitis have subtle or subclinical symptoms. In Indonesia, the part of East Nusa Tenggara, hepatitis disease is low, because most people who suffer from mild hepatitis C positive in pregnant women are mostly relatively high. More than double the national average of 2.2%. Based on the above problems, an application in the form of an expert system is needed to diagnose liver disorders, one of which is the Bayes theorem method. Bayes' theorem is a method that applies rules relating to probabilities or probability values. Hepatitis patients can die within a few weeks if not treated immediately. It will be used as an initiative to conduct studies on intelligent systems for diagnosing hepatitis. Therefore, this research creates a system that can help doctors treat hepatitis. With the concept of an expert system able to analyze problems and draw conclusions about the transfer of expert knowledge to the system. The results of the studies tested have shown the multiplication result of the highest classification value with the Bayes method and is a type of liver disorder that the patient suffers from.

Abstract

Student thesis titles in the Informatics Engineering Department at Stella Maris Sumba University (UNMARIS) have not been grouped optimally based on the student's field of expertise or focus of study. So, the grouping procedure that is important in guiding students must choose a thesis title that is relevant to their field of study. One grouping method that can be used is text mining, which is a part of data mining that is used to identify interesting patterns from lots of data in the form of text. In this research, thesis topics are grouped based on student interest or focus using the Naive Bayes method. Research found that the Naive Bayes algorithm had a 100% accuracy rate in determining the thesis title category. And the accuracy results show that UNMARIS students are more interested in choosing titles in the Software Engineering and Expert and Decision System categories, which shows 31 interested in RPL and 36 in Expert Decision Systems.

Abstract

Sistem pakar dengan metode forward chaining dapat membantu dalam mendiagnosis Diabetes Mellitus dengan lebih cepat dan akurat. Dengan mengumpulkan gejala dan informasi dari pasien, sistem ini dapat memproses data. Dengan alasan-alasan ini, pengembangan sistem pakar untuk diagnosis Diabetes Mellitus menggunakan metode forward chaining memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan serta mendorong deteksi dini dan pencegahan penyakit. Kesenjangan antara pasien dan dokter merupakan salah satu kesulitan yang dihadapi industri medis. Selain itu, sebagian besar masyarakat tidak terlatih dalam bidang kedokteran, jadi ketika mereka menyadari gejala suatu penyakit, mereka mungkin tidak tahu cara mengobatinya dengan tepat. Sangat disayangkan bahwa ketidaktahuan dapat menyebabkan gejala yang dapat diobati sejak dini berkembang menjadi penyakit yang lebih serius. Memperoleh pengetahuan ini tidaklah mudah, karena butuh waktu untuk memahaminya, dan sumber daya ini mungkin tidak sebaik dokter dalam mendiagnosis kondisi. Model Waterfall adalah metodologi pengembangan sistem yang digunakan. Mempertimbangkan pembicaraan yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

Registration carried out by the system automatically provides announcements of registration results carried out online. Prospective new students can find out announcements easily using the internet. The implementation of online admissions for new students is considered to have its own advantages and benefits. Apart from being more efficient, online acceptance of new students is more transparent and open. This includes facilitating monitoring both by students or parents and the community as well as by departments and related parties. The method used in this research is a data collection technique where there are observations, interviews and literature studies. This new student admissions information system was built using the PHP programming language and utilizes the MySQL database as the database server. It is hoped that this research can help prospective new students and new student admissions officers in the process of registering new students at the Waisumar State Elementary School.

Abstract

The Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) is a vital community organization with a significant role in addressing social issues. One such issue is the increasing number of juvenile delinquency cases in schools, which has become a major concern for both educational institutions and parents. Schools must be proactive in monitoring their students to address this problem effectively. However, traditional manual monitoring processes are inefficient and time-consuming. To overcome this, there is a need for an efficient, user-friendly, and multi-user monitoring system that enables both schools and parents to access information about their children's behavioral violations. This student violation monitoring system is designed to be web-based, utilizing UML (Unified Modeling Language) for system design and employing the Waterfall development method. The goal of this system is to provide an effective solution for managing and tracking student violations, allowing for better control and prevention of delinquent behavior within the school environment. By implementing this system, both school authorities and parents will be able to collaborate more effectively in monitoring and addressing student behavior.
