Abstract

This study aims to analyze marine fish marketing strategies that can increase fishermen's income in Southwest Sumba Regency. The fisheries sector is one of the main sources of income for local communities, but the challenges of marketing fish products faced by fishermen often hinder the improvement of welfare. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques and direct observation in the field. The results of the study indicate that the marine fish marketing system in Southwest Sumba is still relatively simple, with the role of middlemen dominating the distribution channels. This causes the selling price of fish to be suboptimal and reduces fishermen's income. Recommended marketing strategies include introducing direct marketing techniques, improving the quality of fish products through processing technology, and building stronger partnerships between fishermen and the market. This study also found that the existence of fishermen's cooperatives can be an alternative to improving marketing access and increasing fishermen's bargaining power. With the implementation of a more efficient marketing strategy, it is hoped that fishermen's income in Southwest Sumba Regency can increase significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, work motivation, and work environment on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Kuta by involving all employees as the research population. The approach used is quantitative with data collection through distributing questionnaires to respondents. The number of respondents was 100 people determined using a saturated sampling technique, namely the entire population was sampled because it was considered to meet the appropriate criteria, namely active employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Kuta. The data obtained were then analyzed using linear regression, with a t-test to test the partial effect of each variable and an F-test to determine the simultaneous effect. The results of the t-test indicate that work discipline, work motivation, and work environment individually have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, meaning that the better the level of discipline, the higher the motivation, and the more conducive the work environment, the more optimal the employee performance produced. Meanwhile, the results of the F-test show that the three variables simultaneously also have a significant effect on employee performance. Thus, this study confirms that the factors of work discipline, work motivation, and work environment have an important role in increasing productivity, work quality, and the achievement of company goals. Therefore, companies need to pay attention to these three aspects continuously to maintain and improve employee performance in the future.

Abstract

The Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) is a vital community organization with a significant role in addressing social issues. One such issue is the increasing number of juvenile delinquency cases in schools, which has become a major concern for both educational institutions and parents. Schools must be proactive in monitoring their students to address this problem effectively. However, traditional manual monitoring processes are inefficient and time-consuming. To overcome this, there is a need for an efficient, user-friendly, and multi-user monitoring system that enables both schools and parents to access information about their children's behavioral violations. This student violation monitoring system is designed to be web-based, utilizing UML (Unified Modeling Language) for system design and employing the Waterfall development method. The goal of this system is to provide an effective solution for managing and tracking student violations, allowing for better control and prevention of delinquent behavior within the school environment. By implementing this system, both school authorities and parents will be able to collaborate more effectively in monitoring and addressing student behavior.
