Abstract

Curriculum is one of the important components in education which has a big role in determining the direction and purpose that will be reached by the academic institution. Therefore, curriculum must be designed on the basis of curriculum development principles should be noticed. One of the principles is the curriculum relevance with the employment. So, to evaluate the curriculum, including psychology faculty UIN SGD Bandung, it can be conducted by scrutinizing how far the curriculum relevance with occupation.To scrutinize how far the curriculum relevance with occupation, we can trace from alumni’s feed back. So, in this research it has been scrutinized how curriculum relevance of psychology faculty UIN SGD Bandung with the occupation taken from alumni’s view, the job appropriateness with the competence and psychology profession, and the hope of alumni to curriculum change.The data of research are processed either qualitative approach or quantitative by descriptive statistic analyzing present age calculation, and level category and also the analysis of contingency coefficient correlation test. From the result of data processing, it shows that most of alumni view that the curriculum of psychology faculty UIN SGD Bandung is still relevant with occupation. It is strengthened by the data showing the most of alumni’s job which generally is still appropriate with the psychology profession scope. It is so with being relatively fast for the alumni to get the job after graduating. It indicates that the products (graduations) of psychology faculty UIN SGD Bandung still have any competition and they are needed by the user.From correlation test result, it can be concluded that there is no respondent’s characteristic which has significant relation with their view to the curriculum relevance of psychology faculty UIN SGD Bandung with occupation. In other word, respondent’s characteristic can’t be a significant correlation to human’s view in curriculum.Although Alumni view curriculum still relevant with occupation, but all respondents still hope any change in curriculum to be more applicative and relevant with human’s need especially for occupation.

Abstract

Salat is as a medium of connection the communication between human and God. In implementation, salat taught many kinds of moral. The purpose of this research is get the clarification about salat and social piety. This research is as a qualitative research because the data of research is not a statistic data. The researcher finds the different view of salat. First doctrine of salat  has the certain meaning that related to morality. That is, if the doer of salat implements and experiences of the full salat the moral value has the functiom to form the good personality. Second the pure view based on fiqh limit of rules and ritual duty. According to this view, salat related to ritual duty. Salat doesn’t contain moral dimension because salat has the certain space in system of Islam doctrine that separated from system of salat doctrine.

Abstract

This research study highlights the paramount significance of Quranic ethics within the domain of Islamic psychology, particularly in addressing the psychological challenges of contemporary society. By recognizing the crucial role played by spirituality and ethical behavior in mental well-being, Islamic psychology offers a valuable framework for promoting comprehensive wellness and social equity. This study employs a qualitative research approach and follows a systematic methodology comprising several key steps, including literature review, data collection, data analysis, framework development, and validation. The findings of this study demonstrate that Islamic psychology and Quranic ethics provide a distinct and invaluable perspective on human behavior and mental health, addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals in the modern world. As the primary source of Islamic teachings, the Quran serves as the foundational basis for the framework of Islamic psychology, offering a holistic approach to understanding human beings. Notably, the Quran presents a comprehensive set of moral guidelines that can be applied and developed within the context of Islamic psychology. The framework of Quranic ethics encompasses various dimensions, including moral guidance, virtues and character development, self-reflection and accountability, spiritual well-being, ethical decision-making, and healing/forgiveness. By incorporating Quranic guidance on moral conduct, virtues, self-reflection, and forgiveness, Islamic psychology provides practical solutions that acknowledge the profound significance of spirituality. This integration empowers individuals to derive strength, discover meaning, and establish a sense of purpose through their faith.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of personal commitment and goal orientation with self-efficacy as a mediating factor on student moral behavior in character education at the Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University, Bandung. Self-efficacy serves as a mediating factor in this examination. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method, and data analysis was executed through path analysis using the SPSS software. The data was collected using a questionnaire distributed to 100 students. Findings from this research indicated that moral conduct was a multifaceted variable influenced by various factors, whether directly or indirectly, internally, or externally. This study discerned that personal commitment, Goal Orientation, and Self-efficacy wield both direct and indirect influenced over students' moral behavior. Furthermore, Self-efficacy assumed a pivotal mediating role in delineating the connection between personal commitment, Goal Orientation, and students' moral conduct.
