Abstract

Mentoring and developing human resources (HR) for female orphans in aspects of entrepreneurship-based creativity is very important in facilitating personal growth and professionalism of human resources. The main focus of this program is to develop skills and knowledge in entrepreneurship based on biological resources and encourage creativity to create sustainable economic opportunities. The mentoring method uses the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method, implemented in the LKSA Yabappenatim Community. Based on the empowerment results, it can be concluded that empowerment in improving female orphans in the aspect of utilizing environmental waste as valuable materials and developing the creativity of female orphans based on entrepreneurship will not be successful if there is no cooperation and active participation from the mentoring subjects, the community, especially the surrounding community. Associations and institutions related to the LKSA Yabappenatim institution and donors who have contributed sincerely to implementing this program in the LKSA Yabappenatim community. The implementation of empowerment runs optimally because this empowerment results in the development of the creativity of female orphans based on entrepreneurship in utilizing natural environmental waste around LKSA Yabappenatim into valuable materials or products.

Abstract

Kitab kuning merupakan salah satu ciri khas eksistensi pesantren di Indonesia. Sejak dulu, kitab kuning merupakan bahan yang wajib diajarkan di pesantren. Tujuan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan ini adalah pengembangan kualitas komunitas santri kitab kuning di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Chotib Wringinagung Jombang Jember. Metode pengabdiannya menggunakan metode ABCD. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa proses pemberdayaan yang telah dilakukan baik dari tahap Define, Discovery, Dream, Design dan Deliver, maka ada perubahan yang telah dilakukan yaitu sebagai berikut: 1) pengembangan kualitas SDM Komunitas Santri (Pengurus dan Anggota) Kitab Kuning Pondok Pesantren Nurul Chotib Wringinagung Jombang Jember berjalan dengan efektif atau sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan; 2) pengurus yang ada di Komunitas Wilayah Sunan Ampel telah mengetahui, memahami dan mempraktekkan tentang tentang Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Inovatif Al-Miftah pada SDM Komunitas Santri Kitab Kuning Pondok Pesantren Nurul Chotib Wringinagung Jombang Jember; 3) anggota yang ada di Komunitas Wilayah Sunan Ampel telah mengetahui, memahami dan mempraktekkan metode pembelajaran inovatif al-Miftah serta isi Kitab Kuning tingkat dasar di Komunitas Santri Kitab Kuning Pondok Pesantren Nurul Chotib Wringinagung Jombang Jember.

Abstract

The method used in this service is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Based on the results of the mentoring carried out at the An-Nahdloh Malaysia Islamic Boarding School, it can be concluded that improving the quality of students at the Islamic boarding school will not be successful if there is no cooperation and active participation from the mentoring subjects, associations and institutions that contribute actively to the An-Nahdloh Malaysia Islamic Boarding School and its students—donors who have contributed sincerely. The implementation of mentoring runs effectively and efficiently because it develops the quality of Santri HR assets in the knowledge and skills aspects of actualizing the PRA curriculum based on systems theory. In line with the implementation of the assistance carried out, it continues to increase the quality of curriculum development that will be implemented at the An-Nahdloh Malaysia Islamic Boarding School. The mentoring strategy that assists in actualizing the PRA curriculum is based on systems theory. Namely, it is carried out with a holistic, integrative strategy involving Islamic boarding school components, namely students, caregivers and administrators, in actualizing the PRA curriculum.
