Abstract

1 Technological advances and continuous digitalization are transforming an organization's resources and capabilities. Aligning with digitally oriented cultural archetypes is critical to successful digital transformation. This study aims to determine whether the Covid-19 pandemic impacts organizational culture change, as well as to find cutting-edge knowledge about productive-sustainable organizational culture and predict digital culture in organizations based on traditional cultural archetypes. The result is that the people-oriented cultural archetype is the most important for digital culture, while the values inherent in the cultural archetype of Norms or Goals inhibit it. The paper contributed to developing Functionalist and Structuralist cultural theories, showing the interaction of microcultures and cultural archetypes within an organization. Two frameworks on sustainable culture transformation and sustainability of organizational culture are derived from cutting-edge knowledge. Clean production requires managing the physical aspects of production and transforming organizational culture. What the author can criticize from these articles is the assumption that all organizations experience a decline in hierarchical culture and an increase in adhocracy culture and market culture. In fact, organizational culture shifts can vary depending on the industry, the size of the organization, and other factors

Abstract

Zero-waste-based bioindustrial agriculture is an agricultural development approach that integrates crop and livestock subsectors through the optimal utilization of agricultural waste to generate economic, social, and environmental benefits. This study aims to analyze the role of biogas utilization within a zero-waste bioindustrial agriculture system and its contribution to value-added creation and agribusiness sustainability. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative analysis of economic and financial feasibility data related to biogas utilization. Data were collected from previous studies, scientific literature, and other relevant sources. The results indicate that the conversion of livestock waste into biogas provides economic benefits through additional income generation, energy cost savings, and the utilization of biogas slurry as organic fertilizer. Financial feasibility analysis demonstrates that biogas enterprises are economically viable, as indicated by a Benefit-Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio) greater than one and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) exceeding the prevailing interest rate used in the analysis. Beyond direct economic benefits, the bioindustrial system also creates opportunities for agribusiness MSME development through the production of organic fertilizers, compost, liquid organic fertilizers, and rural energy enterprises. Crop–livestock integration within the bioindustrial framework promotes a circular economy that enhances resource-use efficiency, value-added creation, and agribusiness sustainability. Therefore, the development of zero-waste-based bioindustrial agriculture should be promoted as a strategic approach to improving farmers’ welfare while supporting environmental sustainability.

Abstract

The increasing public awareness of healthy lifestyles, food safety, and environmental sustainability has created significant opportunities for the development of organic rice businesses in Indonesia. Organic rice is increasingly recognized as a healthy food product that offers added value compared to conventionally produced rice. In this context, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a strategic role in strengthening the organic rice value chain through processing, packaging, marketing, and distribution activities. This study aims to examine the prospects for developing organic rice SMEs in supporting healthy food consumption and sustainable agribusiness in Indonesia. The study employed a literature review approach by analyzing various scientific publications, government reports, and relevant secondary data related to organic agriculture, SMEs, healthy food consumption, and sustainable agribusiness. The results indicate that the development of organic rice SMEs is supported by increasing consumer demand for healthy food products, growing market opportunities, and rising awareness of environmental sustainability. However, several challenges remain, including high certification costs, limited access to financing, inadequate market networks, low consumer literacy, and constraints in maintaining a consistent supply of organic rice. Therefore, strengthening institutional capacity, expanding market access, improving digital marketing capabilities, facilitating organic certification, and enhancing stakeholder collaboration are essential strategies for supporting the sustainable development of organic rice SMEs. The study concludes that organic rice SMEs have substantial potential to contribute to healthy food systems, increase farmers’ and entrepreneurs’ incomes, and promote sustainable agribusiness development in Indonesia.
