Abstract

Burnout has various impacts in various work professions, especially teachers, interventions carried out to solve stress problems that lead to burnout are so rare. The research was conducted to find out whether mindfulness training had an impact on reducing burnout symptoms in inclusive teachers at PKBM Lentera Fajar Indonesia. The samples Paired T-Test analysis test showed that the post-test average score of the burnout questionnaire with mindfulness training in inclusive teacher was significantly smaller than the pre-test average score.used is a one-group pre-test and post-test design. This study uses an adapted burnout measurement tool. The t-test in the form of a paired sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0.001<0.005. This means, the burnout level before and after being given mindfulness training is not the same. Thus, it can be stated that there is a significant difference between before being given training and after being given mindfulness training, it can be concluded that mindfulness training for burnout in inclusive teachers can reduce the level of burnout in participants.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan tindakan agresi yang dilakukan individu ke individu lain. Bullying seringkali terjadi pada masa remaja. Melihat fenomena ini, menjadi penting untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kasus bullying melalui pendidikan karakter. Berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi saat ini, kami mengadakan penelitian dengan tujuan agar siswa dapat meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap kasus bullying dan membentuk karakter positif untuk menurunkan kasus bullying. Mitra psikoedukasi ini merupakan SMP Negeri 5 Sidoarjo dengan desain eksperimen, yang melibatkan pengisian pre-test sebelum materi diberikan, diikuti dengan pemberian materi psikoedukasi, dan diakhiri dengan pengisian post-test untuk mengukur perubahan pemahaman siswa. Rata-rata skor pre-test siswa adalah 150,586, sedangkan skor post-test meningkat menjadi 160,862. Hasil Uji Paired Samples T-Test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara skor pre-test dan post-test, (p < 0,05), membuktikan efektivitas program psikoedukasi. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penerapan program psikoedukasi berbasis pendidikan karakter di lingkungan sekolah untuk menciptakan budaya yang lebih inklusif, aman, dan mendukung, serta memberikan dampak positif dalam pencegahan bullying di kalangan siswa. Abstract

Objective: Students are individuals who are in the early adulthood phase who are in the age range of 18 ± 40 years. In addition to individuals in the early adulthood phase, students are also susceptible to loneliness. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and psychological well-being with loneliness in students in Sidoarjo. Method: The population in this study was 23,039 students with a research sample using cluster sampling using the Isaac & Michael formula with a 5% error rate involving 342 students. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between self-esteem and psychological well-being with loneliness in students in Sidoarjo with a Pearson's correlation test value of r = -0.468 for self-esteem and Pearson's correlation r = -0.419 for psychological well-being, p < .001. This indicates a significant negative relationship between self-esteem, psychological well-being, and loneliness among students in Sidoarjo. Novelty: This suggests that higher self-esteem and psychological well-being correlate with lower loneliness levels, and vice versa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social media usage intensity on social anxiety in adolescents at Senior High School X in Sidoarjo. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method, involving 279 students as a sample selected using a probability sampling technique with stratified sampling. Data collection was carried out through a Likert scale questionnaire that measured the intensity of social media usage and social anxiety, with reliability test results showing very strong Cronbach alpha values ​​for both variables. Data analysis using simple linear regression showed that the intensity of social media usage significantly influenced social anxiety with a significance value of 0.032 (p < 0.05) and a coefficient of determination of 55.9%, which means that the intensity of social media usage contributes significantly to the level of social anxiety in adolescents. The results also showed that the majority of students were in the category of moderate intensity of social media usage and social anxiety. This finding indicates that the higher the intensity of social media usage, the higher the social anxiety experienced by adolescents, so that wise management of social media usage is needed to minimize the negative impact on adolescent mental health.

Abstract

General Background: Internet use among adolescents has increased significantly, raising concerns about internet addiction and its psychological consequences. Specific Background: Students at SMP Negeri 1 Jabon showed patterns of excessive internet use associated with low self-control, indicating the need for structured intervention within the school setting. Knowledge Gap: Although prior studies have established a relationship between self-control and internet addiction, empirical evidence examining school-based psychoeducation programs targeting self-control improvement remains limited in this specific context. Aims: This study aimed to evaluate whether psychoeducation focused on self-control was associated with changes in students’ internet addiction levels. Results: Using a pretest-posttest design, statistical analysis revealed significant differences between pre-intervention and post-intervention scores, indicating increased self-control and decreased internet addiction tendencies after program implementation. Novelty: The study provides contextual empirical findings from a structured psychoeducational intervention conducted directly within a junior high school environment using quantitative evaluation. Implications: These findings support the integration of preventive psychoeducation programs in schools to promote healthier digital behavior and strengthen adolescents’ regulatory capacity in managing internet use.
