Abstract

In this study, problems can be found with low activity and student learning outcomes because students still do not understand learning and do not participate in learning. As for the solution to overcome these problems, researchers used a combination of PBL, TPS and CRH models. With the aim of this research to know the activities of students and teachers and improve student learning outcomes. This study uses a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach, in this study conducted for 4 meetings. The research subjects were fifth grade students who were at Sungai Miai 8 Elementary School Banjarmasin with 18 students. The results of this study showed that there was an increase in teacher activity from meeting I reaching a score of 64 in the "Good" category and at meeting IV reaching a score of 97 with the "Very Good" category. Student activity at meeting I reached a score of 57 with the category "Quite Active" there was an increase in meeting IV reaching a score of 84 with the category "Very Active". Likewise, the learning outcomes in both the cognitive domain increased to 94%, while the affective and psychomotor domains increased to 100%.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem raised in this study is tje low learning outcomes of fourth grdae students at SDN Kelayan Timur 5 Banjarmasin on PPKn content. The cause of these problems are learning that does not trigger students’ skills in critical thingking, learning is only centered on teachers and theme books, and lack of motivation and interest in student learning. The effort made to address this issue is by using a combination of PBL, STAD, and Talking stick models. The research aims to describe the quality of teacher and student activities, as well as analyze the improvement in students’ learning outcomes. A qualitative approach with Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted for three meetings at SDN Kelayan Timur 5 Banjarmasin during the 2022/2023 academic year, involving 25 fourth grade students. The research was carried out on the them “The Beauty of Diversity in My Country” in the subject of Civics. The data collected included teacher activities, student activities, and students’ learning outcomes, which were analyzed using percentage scales and classical learning achievement indicators. The results showed that the combination of PBL, ATAD, and Talking Stick models in the third meeting resulted in excellent teacher activities with a score of 98, highly active atudent activities with a score of 100%, and cognitive and affectve learning outcomes reaching 100% proficiency. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that using this combination of teaching models can enhance teacher activities, student engagement, and learning outcomes in the subject of Civics, “The Beauty of Diversity in My Country.” Teachers are advised to utilize this combination of models to create learning activities that enhance student motivation, interaction, and engagement, leading to improved student learning outcomes. Abstrak: permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Kelayan Timur 5 Banjarmasin pada muatan PPKn. Penyebab dari masalah tersebut adalah pembelajaran yang kurang memicu keterampilan siswa dalam berpikir kritis, pembelajaran hanya berpusat pada guru dan buku tema, serta kurangnya motivasi dan minat belajar siswa. Hal yang dilakukan sebagai upaya mengatai masalah yaitu dengan menggunakan kombinasi model PBL, STAD, dan Talking Stick. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa, serta menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada muatan PPKn Tema 7 Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kelayan Timur 5 Banjarmasin. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 25 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis PTK. Jenis data yang diperolah mencakup aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa yang dianalisis menggunakan skala persentase dan indikator keberhasilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi model PBL, STAD, dan Talking Stick pada pertemuan III menghasilkan aktivitas guru dengank kategori sangat baik dengan perolehan skor 98, aktivitas siswa dengan kategori sangat aktif dengan perolehan skor 100%, dan hasil belajar kognitif dan afektif mencapai ketuntasan 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan kombinasi model PBL, STAD, dan Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar. Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze the relationship between principals' interpersonal communication, work commitment, and work motivation with teacher performance at SMPN Pelaihari District, Tanah Laut Regency. This research is a correlational research with a descriptive-quantitative method. The research population are all teachers at SMPN Pelaihari District, Tanah Laut Regency as many as 147 people with a sample of 107 respondents taken by random sampling technique.The data collection uses questionnaire instruments and data analysis uses descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between: (1) interpersonal communication between the principal and teacher performance of 0.076, (2) work commitment with teacher performance of 0.181, (3) work motivation and teacher performance of 0.848, (4) Principal interpersonal communication with work commitment of 0.264, (5) Principal interpersonal communication with work motivation of 0.092, (6) Principal interpersonal communication through work commitment with teacher performance of 0.048, (7) Principal interpersonal communication through work motivation with teacher performance of 0.078. Based on the results of the determination coefficient test, it shows that the R Square value of the teacher performance variable is 0.334. The conclusion of this study is that the variables of interpersonal communication of principals, work commitment and work motivation affect the teacher performance by 33.4% while the remaining 66.6% is explained by other factors. Meanwhile, the R Square value of the work commitment variable is 0.346. This means that the variable of interpersonal communication of school principals is affected by work commitment by 34.6% and the rest are influenced by other factors, and interpersonal communication of school principals is affected by work motivation by 8.4% while the rest are explained by other factors outside the study.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's academic supervision activities, interpersonal communication, work ethic, and teacher performance; and analyze the direct and indirect relationship between the principal's academic supervision, interpersonal communication, and work ethic with the performance of elementary school teachers in North Banjarbaru District, Banjarbaru City. This research is a quantitativ research. The sample size of this study was 172 teachers. Data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires that have met the requirements of validity and reality tests. Data analysis to test the relationship in this study used path analysis. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there is a direct relationship between: academic supervision of the principal with teacher performance, interpersonal communication with teacher performance, work ethic with teacher performance academic supervision of the principal with work ethic, interpersonal communication with work ethic; and the indirect relationship between the principal's academic supervision and teacher performance through work ethic, interpersonal communication with teacher performance through work ethic.academic principal, interpersonal communication, work ethic and performance of elementary school teachers in North Banjarbaru District, Banjarbaru City Keywords: Principal's academic supervision, interpersonal communication, work ethic, teacher performance

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between Communication, work motivation, and work ethic on the performance of state elementary school teachers in Tambang Lagi District, Tanah Laut Regency. This research is correlational research with descriptive-quantitative methods. The research population consisted of 138 public elementary school teachers in Tambang Re District, Tanah Laut Regency, with a sample size of 103 respondents who were taken using random sampling techniques. Data collection uses questionnaire instruments, and data analysis uses descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and path analysis. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between Communication on teacher performance 0.658, work motivation on teacher performance 0.547, work ethic on teacher performance 0.879, Communication on work ethic 0.292, (5) work motivation on work ethic 0.484, Communication through work ethic on teacher performance is 0.257, work motivation through work ethic on teacher performance is 0.425. The coefficient of determination test results show that the R Square value of the job satisfaction variable is 0.886. In conclusion, the variables of Communication, work motivation, and work ethic influence teacher performance, while communication and work motivation influence teacher performance. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of academic supervision, school culture, and teacher job satisfaction on teacher performance at SMPN Pandih Batu and Kahayan Hilir Districts, Pulang Pisau District. This research approach is quantitative. The population of this study consisted of all SMPN teachers in Pandih Batu and Kahayan Hilir Districts, Pulang Pisau Regency with a total of 171 teachers. Through sampling using proportional random sampling techniques, a sample of 120 people was obtained. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire distributed to the sample. Analysis of research results using descriptive statistics, regression test, t-test (partial), path analysis, and coefficient of determination using SPSS Windows Version 29.0. The results of the research show that there is an influence between: (1) academic supervision on teacher performance of 0.120, (2) school culture on teacher performance of 0.100, (3) job satisfaction on teacher performance of 0.119, (4) academic supervision on job satisfaction of 0.119. 1.149, (5) school culture on job satisfaction of 0.482, (6) academic supervision on teacher performance through job satisfaction of 0.136, (7) school culture on performance teachers through job satisfaction of 0.057. In conclusion, there is a significant direct and indirect influence between academic supervision, school culture, and job satisfaction on the performance of State Middle School teachers in Pandih Batu and Kahayan Hilir Districts, Pulang Pisau District.
