Abstract

This study explains the interpretation of the commentators in Surah al-Baqarah verses 142 and 144. In the explanation, it states in detail the meaning of lafaz, asbab al-Nuzul verse, the meaning of the verse globally, and understanding of the verse and the content of the verse. The important point in this study is the linkage of the narrations that become the asbab of al-Nuzul verse in revealing the content and meaning of the verse comprehensively. Surah al-Baqarah verses 142 and 144 explain the history of the Qibla movement. This verse is clear evidence of the existence of nasakh and mansukh verses in the Qur'an. So it is known that the first Nasakh verse contained in Islamic Shari'ah is a verse about the Qibla movement.

Abstract

salah satu ragam metode dalam menafsirkan al-Qur'an adalah metode tafsir maudhu'i. Artikel ini membahas tentang metodologi tafsir maudhu’i yang berangkat dari tema-tema yang terkandung dalam ayat al-Qur'an. Pembahasan dimulai dari sejarah perkembangan munculnya tafsir maudhu'i, pengertian, ragam corak, metode, kitab-kitab dan kekurangan serta kelebihannya. Langkah-langkah dalam metode ini adalah menganalisa tema, mencari dan mengumpulkan ayat yang mempunyai tema serupa. Kemudian memaparkan tertib al-nuzulnya, mencermati ilmu munasabah al-Ayat di tempatnya masing-masing, melibatkan Asbab al-Nuzul dan hadits-haditsnya, jika ada. Kemudian menafsirkan ayat secara komprehensif agar menemukan konsep al-Qur'an tentang tema tersebut.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the role of the Islamic Education and Orphan/Poor Al-Mukmin Foundation (YPIA) in improving Islamic religious education, overcoming radicalism, and instilling religious moderation in students in Ngruki, Cemani, Sukoharjo, Central Java. This research is library research with a qualitative approach in the form of field research. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation of all reference sources. The results of this research conclude that the Islamic Education Al-Mukmin Ngruki Foundation plays an active role in educating the nation's next generation and applies a moderate attitude to all business charity units under its auspices. YPIA educational institutions consist of PAUD IT Al-Mukmin, RA Al-Amin II, RA Al-Amin III, SD Al-Amin, SMA 1 Islam Gading Surakarta, Islamic High School al-Mukmin (STIM) Surakarta and Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukmin Ngruki Surakarta. In the social and economic fields, YPIA oversees the Orphan/Poor Orphanage Institution, the Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) or Baitul Mal Al-Mukmin (BMA), and the Ta'awun Islamic Boarding School Cooperative. The diversity of YPIA's charity business units reflects the moderation of diversity in overcoming the development of radicalism from an early age.

Abstract

Suluk Linglung Sunan Kalijaga is a literary work not widely known to the general public. This Suluk reflects Sunan Kalijaga’s comprehensive religious experience; it is his aphorism in expressing thoughts and ideas. Suluk Linglung tells of Sunan Kalijaga’s anxiety regarding spiritual journeys. The research method applies a hermeneutic approach with the help of philological theory. The primary data source is Suluk Linglung's text, which was translated by Kasri in 1993. The data collection technique uses literature study, while data analysis involves the stages of identification, clarification, hermeneutic, and contextual analysis. The study results found that Suluk Linglung emphasizes the science of nature more. Suluk Linglung places more emphasis on the science of nature. Its principles are based on the stage (maqam) in the Sufi tradition, which ends with the Insan Kamil phase. The first stage is the “preparation” phase, emphasizing the dimensions of consciousness within humans. The second stage, the process phase from exoteric to esoteric, is an effort to search for the essential sciences. In the third stage, the journey to Al Khalq, to achieve the science of hidayat, he met the Prophet Khidzir (inner teacher), who taught the science of hidayat. The fourth stage is Insan Kamil, where he has gained faith. Hidayat reached the tajalli phase. Search for the essential sciences. Abstract

This research discusses the study of hadith related to Udhiyah, namely sacrificial animals. Qurban is one of the Islamic symbols that is prescribed based on the evidence of the Qur'an, hadith and ijma'. This paper will explain the hadiths in the matter of Udhiyah, by mentioning the time of slaughtering qurban, the age of animals that can be slaughtered, slaughter tools, and so on. The time for slaughtering the Udhiyah is after the Eid prayer and sermon until the end of the day of tasriq, which is the 13th of Dhul Hijjah. The scholars differed on the ruling on performing qurbani, with the most common ruling being that it is a Sunnah mu'akad. Penelitian ini membahas kajian hadith terkait Udhiyah yaitu binatang qurban. Berqurban merupakan salah satu syiar Islam yang disyariatkan berdasarkan dalil al-Qur’an, hadith dan ijma’. Makalah ini akan menjelaskan hadith-hadith dalam masalah Udhiyah, dengan menyebutkan waktu menyembelih qurban, umur binatang yang dapat disembelih, alat sembelih, dan lain sebagainya. Waktu menyembelih qurban adalah sesudah melaksanakan salat idul adha dan mendengarkan khutbah sampai akhir hari tasriq, yaitu tanggal 13 Dhulhijjah. Para ulama berbeda pendapat dalam hukum melaksanakan qurban, dan yang masyhur adalah sunnah mu’akad.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the interpretation of Qur'anic verses related to the basis of the teaching command for all mankind. Teaching obligations are included in the realm of educational studies. The interpretation of verses of the Qur'an related to the field of education is called the term tafsir tarbawi. Formulate the problems including a) what are the teaching vocabulary in the Qur'an, b) how the ulama interpret the verses about teaching, c) the implementation of the educational value of the verses. This research uses a qualitative method and is described in a descriptive manner (content analysis) in the form of library research. The results of the study concluded that the terms teaching in the Qur'an include 'allama (???????), rabbani (??????) and balligh (????). The verses of the obligation to teach are listed in Surah al-Baqarah verse 33 and Surah al-Maidah verse 67. The value of the implementation of education from these two verses makes people realize that teaching is not solely a professional realm but is actually a divine command, as Allah SWT., commanded the Prophet Adam (as), and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to teach.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of the hadith ecosystem in the era of vertical technology through genealogical, epistemological, and practical analyses of the use of Jawami‘ al-Kalim as a digital literacy tool. Changes in the communication landscape from a linear pattern to a vertical pattern, characterised by the dominance of algorithms, accelerated information circulation, and the fragmentation of religious authority, require the repositioning of the hadith treasury in the digital space. Through a qualitative-hermeneutic approach, this study traces the conceptual roots of Jawami‘ al-Kalim as a form of prophetic meaning that combines concise wisdom with ethical depth, then examines how these values can work in a digital architecture rife with misinformation, distortion of authority, and commodification of religiosity. Genealogical analysis shows that the digitisation of hadiths does not merely transfer texts from manuscripts to screens, but also shifts the patterns of epistemic interaction between sanad, matan, and users. Epistemological findings reveal that Jawami‘ al-Kalim can function as a moral filter that guides verification, simplifies messages, and strengthens the ethics of sharing in online spaces. In practical terms, this study formulates a framework for a ‘Digital Hadith Ecosystem’ that places Jawami‘ al-Kalim as the foundation of prophetic wisdom-based digital literacy, as well as a navigation tool for managing algorithmic information flows in a critical, moderate, and responsible manner. Thus, this study reinforces the urgency of integrating hadith science, digital technology, and public ethics in building a more civilised Islamic information civilisation.

Abstract

Global environmental challenges require active engagement from all sectors, including education. For Muslim youth, awareness of environmental sustainability aligns with Islamic ethical principles such as stewardship (khalifah), justice (ʿadl), and social welfare (maslahah). This study examines the influence of green economy education within Islamic higher education on students’ eco-literacy, ethical awareness, and sustainable economic behavior. A quantitative approach was employed using a structured questionnaire distributed to students from both Islamic economics and non-economics programs. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, and one-way ANOVA to identify differences in environmental knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. Findings show that students with an Islamic economics background consistently achieve higher scores in knowledge, attitudes, and behavioral engagement related to sustainability compared to non-Islamic economics students. Integrating Islamic ethical values into the curriculum provides a holistic framework for internalizing sustainability principles, encouraging students to translate ethical knowledge into practical action. Pedagogical strategies such as project-based learning, reflective exercises, and experiential programs further enhance engagement and eco-conscious behavior. The study highlights the critical role of Islamic education in fostering a generation of ethically aware and environmentally responsible students. By embedding moral and ecological principles in academic programs, educational institutions can strengthen students’ capacity for sustainable decision-making and support broader goals of responsible economic and environmental stewardship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji model integrasi Pasar Klitikan dan Bank Sampah di Masjid Al-Furqon sebagai inovasi pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis ekonomi sirkular. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi tersebut memperkuat fungsi masjid sebagai pusat kegiatan ekonomi, sosial, dan ekologis. Program ini berhasil mengubah barang bekas menjadi bernilai guna, meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan, serta mendukung kemandirian finansial masjid. Inisiatif ini menjadi contoh nyata penerapan nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan dan gerakan eco-masjid.
