Abstract

One Islamic boarding school in Surakarta concerned with the elderly is the Izzah Zam-zam Islamic Boarding School in Surakarta. Elderly people handled by this Islamic boarding school are santri (elderly) muqim and santri (elderly) ghoiru muqim. The problems of the elderly are very complete, both from declining health factors, psychological factors, and weak religious understanding, these are internal factors, not to mention external factors also approaching, from the places and facilities of Islamic boarding schools that are not adequate. This spiritual tarbiyah mentoring for elderly students uses the PAR (Participatory action research) method, it can be identified and found problems, including contributing factors, causes, leading problems, and core problems. Problem). The results of this assistance show that there is positive progress in carrying out the way of worshiping elderly students, also positive progress in reading & memorizing the Qur'an is increasing and there are always options and solutions to the psychological problems they face.

Abstract

Masa darurat Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) berdampak di bidang pendidikan dan sosial. LKSA Yayasan Amal Bakti Sudjono & Taruno adalah sebuah lembaga sosial yang berupaya memberikan bantuan dan pendidikan bagi anak yatim, dhuafa atau anak-anak yang kurang mampu. Kegiatan yang bertajuk “Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Masa Pandemi di LKSA Amal Bakti Sudjono & Taruno ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan (1) Merumuskan program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter di LKSA, melalui program pendampingan, (2) Membina dan mengembangkan karakter anak LKSA yang taqwa, cerdas dan mandiri. Sasaran pelayanan adalah 28 anak yang tinggal di LKSA Sudjono & Taruno. Metode yang digunakan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pencapaian indikator pelaksanaan ibadah dan tata krama (76%), kebiasaan, kedisiplinan, dan hasil belajar (82%).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Adi Hidayat's al-Qur'ān interpretation on an official YouTube channel. It ensures that the public is not exposed to inferior information as the use of new media to interpret the al-Qur'ān in the digital age increases and regulation becomes more complex. Therefore, new problems in the al-Qur'ān interpretation are inevitable. Becoming a mufassīr necessitates expertise, and the al-Qur'ān interpretation should adhere to the same rules. A qualitative and virtual ethnographic approach was used to analyze the data. Primary data was obtained from Adi Hidayat's video interpretation of sūrah an-Nūr, sūrah Yusūf, and tafsīr on the Jewish genealogy history, as well as studies on Islamic questions and answers. Similarly, books and journals were used as secondary data and analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that Adi Hidayat's interpretation style was lugāwī and tended to use the mauḍū'i than the tahlīlī method with the bil ma'sūr and bil ra'yi approaches. Additionally, the tafsīr book was not the only source of interpretation and tends to rely on personal ijtihād through language analysis, as well as reviewing the wisdom of a verse rather than explaining the global meaning. This study contributes to the discovery of the al-Qur'ān interpretation aspects by Adi Hidayat. It shows the importance of social media as an essential tool for mufassīr because of its easy accessibility for the public.

Abstract

The concept of Islamic Universal is a concept that makes Islam a multi-dimensional religion, so that it negates discrimination of religion, The research methodology in this paper uses short qualitative powerwith typelibrary  research. The data source is text-scientific textanalyzed usingcontent analisys. research results explain that All understanding of Islamic teachings values can only be achieved if the Islamic teachings concepts and characteristics are developed through a humanistic understanding that refers to its universal nature. That is why, the characteristics of Islamic teachings can be analyzed using various approaches, both normatively, psychologically, historically, philosophically, sociologically, politically, economically and various other disciplines, it also includes some fields, as like religion, humanity which discusses about education, science, culture, social, economics, politics, life, social, health, work, issues, and Islam as a scientific discipline. Muslims must be able to accommodate important things of human value in several fields of knowledge based on the Islamic teachings universalism.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in Arabic subjects at SMPIT Al-Falaah Simo. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The source of information for this research is the head of SMPIT Al-Falaah Simo, Arabic teachers, and students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The findings in this study include that: 1. The application of CTL in Arabic subjects at SMPIT Al-Falaah Simo goes through three stages; the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. In this application, it has contained seven components of CTL such as constructivism, questioning, inquiry, learning community, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessmen. 2. There are several obstacles in the application of CTL in Arabic subjects at SMPIT Al-Falaah Simo; Teachers have not mastered and understood contextual learning methods comprehensively, limited learning resources, limited time in the context of mentoring students, the situation of teaching and learning activities that teachers create is not always the same from day to day, and limited facilities such as the absence of a language laboratory.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observational data indicating that the Arabic writing skills of ninth-grade students at Ma'had Tahfidz Izzah Zamzam Surakarta for the 2023/2024 academic year are still lacking. The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of the Insya’ Muwajjah method, the driving and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the Insya’ Muwajjah method, and to assess the effectiveness of the Insya’ Muwajjah method in improving writing skills in Arabic language learning. The research was conducted on ninth-grade students at Ma'had Tahfidz Izzah Zamzam Surakarta for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the techniques stated by Miles and Huberman, which include data collection, data reduction, data display, and decision-making or verification. The validity of the research data was checked using triangulation techniques. The research results show that the implementation of the Insya’ Muwajjah method to enhance writing skills in the Arabic language for ninth-grade students at Ma'had Tahfidz Izzah Zamzam Surakarta for the 2023/2024 academic year is considered good because 80% of the students scored above the minimum passing grade, and 20% of the students scored at the minimum passing grade, which is 60.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang definisi fajar shodiqdalam perspektif astronomi, yang selama inidipahami dalam perspektif syar’i adalah sebagaibenang putih muncul setelah hilangnya benanghitam di ufuk timur. Munculnya fajar kadzib belummenjadi tanda awal subuh sudah masuk tetapisebagai tanda masih bolehnya makan dan minum,tetapi jika fajar shodiq muncul dengan ditandaicahaya merah secara horisontal dan menyeluruh diufuk timur menandakan awal subuh sudah masuk.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif.Penelitian menempuh beberapa langkah klasifikasidan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menerangkan bahwaciri fajar shodiq dalam perspektif astronomi hamburancahaya di ufuk timur mulai terang menjelang pagihari pada kedudukan matahari -20 derajat dibawahufuk timur.

Abstract

In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, religious knowledge is very necessary. This is because humans are spoiled by technological advances that are rational, practical, empirical and material in nature. TPQ is one of the non-formal institutions that can protect the Muslim generation from these dangers. However, in reality, many TPQs in Grogol District, Sukoharjo, are not managed well. The management structure, curriculum, and teaching methods are not well-regulated. Therefore, the STIM Surakarta Community Service Team held a seminar on managing TPQ with the aim of enabling TPQ teachers in the Grogol sub-district to manage TPQ well. This Community Service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The stages followed are observation, problem identification, preparation, implementation, evaluation and publication. This community service activity succeeded in providing insight to TPQ teachers about good TPQ management.

Tabarruk is a practice that hopes for blessings from Allah Ta'ala. Tabarruk itself is divided into 2, namely; Tabarruk is permitted and Tabarruk is prohibited. Tabarruk which is prohibited can plunge the perpetrator into the abyss of shirk. Indeed, only Allah is the best place to hope for blessings in life.

Abstract

Metode audiolingual merupakan satu metode dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing yang menitikberatkan pada keterampilan mendengar, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Sementara maharah istima' atau kemampuan menyimak adalah salah satu dari empat kemampuan bahasa dalam bahasa Arab. Maharah istima bertujuan untuk melatih kemampuan dasar manusia dalam mendengarkan bahasa terutama dalam bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan, langkah-langkah, teknik, kelebihan dan kekurangan metode audiolingual dalam maharah istima' di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Kahfi Hidayatullah Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus, sedangkan metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Informasi dari guru bahasa Arab dan peserta didik yang terlibat langsung dalam pembelajaran maharah istima’ dijadikan data primer, sedangkan buku dan artikel jurnal dijadikan data sekunder. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: penggunaan metode audiolingual untuk kemahiran menyimak bertujuan agar siswa dapat memahami pembicaraan pembicara dengan benar dan baik tanpa merasa kesulitan; langkah-langkah penggunaan metode audiolingual meliputi penyajian teks dialog, siswa menghafal dialog, penyajian kalimat pola dialog, mendramatisir dialog, dan guru meminta siswa menyusun kalimat sesuai dengan pola kalimat dalam dialog; teknik yang digunakan dalam penggunaan metode audiolingual adalah mendengarkan dialog, menghafal dialog, mendikte, dan menghubungkan kata-kata; kelebihan metode audiolingual adalah siswa menjadi mahir dalam membentuk pola kalimat, mempunyai pengucapan yang baik dan benar, aktif berdialog, dan memperoleh pengalaman berbahasa secara langsung, sedangkan kekurangannya adalah siswa cenderung meniru karena kurang memerhatikan saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode audiolingual dalam maharah istima’ efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab.
