Abstract

In the digital era marked by advancements in digital technology and globalization, the development of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) faces significant challenges. This research aims to uncover the crucial role of the ijtihad method in the context of understanding and formulating legal views on contemporary issues arising in the digital age. The research methodology employed is normative research, involving theoretical, philosophical, and jurisprudential analyses within Islamic fiqh. The study investigates the impacts of the digital era and shifts in the global paradigm on the development of Islamic jurisprudence. The primary focus of the research is to explore how the ijtihad method can adapt to the context of digital technology and the challenges of modern ethics. The research underscores the importance of adaptation and a profound understanding of Islamic law to address the changing times. The results of this research provide valuable insights into how Islamic jurisprudence can remain relevant in addressing contemporary issues that continue to evolve in the dynamic digital era. This study summarizes efforts to maintain the relevance of Islamic law and provide legal perspectives that align with the contemporary dynamics at hand.

Abstract

The independence of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era faces major challenges related to time management, entrepreneurship and the use of technology. This research aims to identify and analyze the managerial strategies implemented by the Miftahul Khoirot Islamic Boarding School in increasing the independence of students in the digital era. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data sources for this research include Islamic boarding school administrators, caregivers, and students. The collected data was then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the Miftahul Khoirot Islamic Boarding School has implemented an entrepreneurship program involving students, but the students still need further assistance in managing their businesses. In addition, challenges related to time management, independent decision making, and access to digital learning are also obstacles. Device limitations and internet network quality influence the effectiveness of digital learning implemented. The implication of this research is the need to strengthen technological infrastructure, more intensive entrepreneurship training, and better time management for students, so that they can be more independent in facing challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

Muamalah jurisprudence is an important part of sharia economics which regulates various aspects of business transactions so that they are in accordance with Islamic principles. The implementation of muamalah fiqh in creative entrepreneurship among students is very relevant, considering the importance of building an entrepreneurial character that is not only economically profitable, but also in accordance with sharia. This research aims to analyze the application of muamalah fiqh in creative entrepreneurial activities among STIT Rakeyan Santang students and identify the obstacles faced in its implementation. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to students involved in entrepreneurship, as well as interviews to explore opinions in more depth. The research results show that although the majority of students have a basic understanding of the principles of muamalah fiqh, they experience difficulties in applying them in creative business. Around 70% of students stated the need for practical training related to the application of muamalah fiqh in their business. The implication of this research is the importance of developing a curriculum that is more practice-based and applying muamalah fiqh in the business world, as well as providing relevant training to improve students' entrepreneurial skills in accordance with sharia principles.
