Abstract

Seperti halnya nutrisi pada umumnya, ASI mengandung komponen makro dan mikro nutrien. Makronutrien adalah karbohidrat, protein dan lemak sedangkan mikronutrien adalah vitamin danmineral. Setiap komponen ASI memiliki manfaatnya tersendiri untuk pertumbuhan bayi. Sekitar 88% dari ASI adalah air. Air ini berguna untuk melarutkan zat yang ada di dalamnya. ASI merupakan sumber air yang secara metabolik adalah aman, Air yang relatif tinggi dalam ASI ini akan meredakan rangsangan rangsangan haus dari bayi. ASI Eksklusif untuk bayi yang diberikan ibu ternyata mempunyai peranan penting, yakni meningkatkan ketahanan tubuh bayi Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini adalah Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberdayakan kader dan ibu hamil tentang pentingnya pemberian ASI eksklusif kepada bayi sehingga dapat mencegah berbagai penyakit. Manfaat Pelatihan ini mendapatkan gambaran secara nyata kebutuhan akan informasi kepada masyarakat akan pentingnya ASI Eksklusif, dapat membentuk kelas kader sebagai upaya peningkatan keberhasilan pelaksanaan ASI Eksklusif di Masyarakat, memperoleh tambahan wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya ASI Eksklusif untuk tumbuh kembang anak dan mendapatkan keterampilan dalam memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat secara umum terkait ASI Eksklusif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada hari Hari Jumat dan Sabtu, tanggal 03 dan 04 Juni 2022 yang dimulai pukul di Puskesmas Sulamadaha Kota Ternate, kegiatan berjalan dengan baik. Acara dimulai pukul 09.00 sampai dengan pukul 13.00. Pengabdian ini dihadiri oleh Ibu lurah Sulamadaha dan Jajarannya, para kader Puskesmas Sulamadaha Kota Ternate, Mahasiswa D.3 keperawatan serta unsur masyarakat. Sasaran kegiatan ini yaitu para Kader dapat mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan dengan baik sampai akhir acara, hal ini dibuktikan dengan banyak kader yang bertanya tentang materi yang disampaikan oleh pemateri. Pengabdian berlangsung dengan baik dan lancar berkat kerja sama seluruh tim pengabdi, pihak Puskesmas Sulamadaha Kota Ternate. Pemberdayaan kader dalam mendukung keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif memberikan dampak positif bagi kesehatan Ibu dan Anak seperti menurunnya angka kematian bayi, balita dan kematian ibu.

Abstract

BACKGROUND : Atraumatic care is therapeutic care that is carried out as part of an intervention to remove or suppress psychological or physical stress suffered by a child. The act of minimizing pain, stress and trauma to children when given at the time of blood collection is part of the principle of atraumatic care. One of the atraumatic actions that can be performed on children is the use of a vibrator with a cooler to minimize pain when stabbing a vein AIMS : to determine the effectiveness of giving a vibrator accompanied by a cold compress against pain in children when taking venous blood. METHODS : The design of this research is true experimental with a post-test only control group design. Researchers divided into 2 groups, namely the intervention and control groups were taken randomly. Then the researcher made a vibrator with a cooler that had been previously tested on 30 adults, then after being declared to have passed the ethical study it would be applied to children when taking venous blood, assessing children's pain using the FLACC instrument (face, legs, activity, cry and controllability). The study was conducted at the Tidore Islands Hospital. Data processing was carried out previously by testing the homogeneity and normality test, if normally distributed it will use the independent t-test to assess the difference in the average of the two groups, while if it is not normally distributed it will be tested with Mann-Whitney. RESULT : The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of respondents according to age are mostly 4 years old. In the control group the average age of children is 3.87 while in the intervention group the average age of children is 3.93. Most of the experience of having blood drawn in both groups had blood drawn before. Based on gender characteristics, most of the control and intervention groups were women. There are differences in pain scores in the control and intervention groups. The mean pain score in the intervention group was 3.13 and the mean pain score in the control group was 7.87. The results of statistical tests using Mann Whitney showed that there was a significant difference in pain during venipuncture in the intervention group and the control group (p=0.013). CONCLUSION : The results of the statistical test show that there was a significant difference in pain in the intervention group and the control group (p=0.013). The use of a cooling vibrator can be an alternative to reduce pain in children during venipuncture.

Abstract

The role of health cadres in health development is crucial. Specifically, for cadres with an understanding of Exclusive Breastfeeding and lactation management capable of educating the community, the capacity is still limited. The presence of breastfeeding support cadres is expected to help the community provide the best food for infants, namely exclusive breastfeeding up to the age of 6 months, followed by complementary feeding until the age of 2 years. Breastfeeding is essential for the growth of infants, hence the need for understanding among mothers to provide exclusive breastfeeding. The coverage of Exclusive Breastfeeding in infants in the North Maluku Province in 2019 was 64.36%, decreasing in 2020 to 62.41%, and increasing to 66% in 2021. Although the data in the last year increased, it is still below the national coverage of 71.58%. The method used to form a mother's breastfeeding education group is a community-based group consisting of breastfeeding support cadres and pregnant women who hold regular monthly meetings to share experiences and monitor Exclusive Breastfeeding. The goal of the breastfeeding support group is to empower breastfeeding mothers to practice early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) and provide exclusive breastfeeding smoothly. This community service activity was carried out at the Sulamadaha Community Health Center in Ternate City, and the activity went well. Evaluation was conducted by the responsible midwife at the Integrated Health Post (posyandu) in Takome Village. The target of this activity was the cadres. The service proceeded well and smoothly thanks to the cooperation of the entire service team and the Sulamadaha Community Health Center in Ternate City.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model on improving learning outcomes science concentration student Muhammadiyah University of Magelang Primary teacher education. Therefore,in the learning process, the model used by the researcher is the cooperative learning model.The type of research used is experimental research with research design One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study’s sample consisted of 27 studensts from the science concentration class. The instrument used in this study was a multiple choice question (PG) with 10 items. The results showed that with menunjukkan tcount > ttable at 5% significance level (8.69 > 2.060) and P value < 0.050. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning models, there is an increase in student learning outcomes in the Science Concentration class at Muhammadiyah University of Magelang for elementary school teacher education.
