Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that public services provided by government officials often tend to be complicated, such as: Service procedures, low level of education of officials, work discipline. This greatly influences the quality of public services in village government. This research has the main objective of establishing the government, namely to maintain a peaceful system in which society can live a normal life and improve the welfare of its people. In other words, in essence it is service to the community which is the main function of the government and is the government's obligation in managing its government, both central, regional and especially village governments which have direct contact with the community. This research using normative juridical research methods, normative juridical, namely legal research carried out by examining library materials or secondary data. The research results concluded that the effectiveness of village officials' performance in serving the community is very important in the context of implementing Law no. 23 of 2014. The success of village officials in understanding and implementing it has a direct impact on the welfare of the community at the local level. Therefore, it is necessary to continue to improve the quality of human resources, facilities and infrastructure at the village level to ensure optimal services in accordance with the provisions of the Law.

Abstract

AbstractEthics in carrying out organizational activities is very important in every life, both in community life and within the government environment. Ethics is often described as a reference for acting towards society. Ethics is also associated with the science of human behavior and decency which concerns norms or rules regarding good and bad behavior or traits. Ethics is a reference for bureaucrats to manage government towards good governance. Ethics in bureaucracy is very clearly regulated, but in real conditions today it is very much a concern. Bureaucratic behavior often goes beyond the rules which not only affects the environment but also influences the work culture which ultimately has an impact on society. In this case, the researcher's aim in the research is to find out the ethics of administrative services in realizing good governance at the Kolam Village Office, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The type of research in this research is descriptive research using qualitative research methods and using interview data collection techniques. Based on the results of interviews as well as observations and observations made by researchers in the field, it was found that the employees at the Pond Village Head's Office, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, had carried out every task given to them well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kecakapan guru PPKn memanfaatkan metode pembelajaran cased method dalam meningkatkan partisipasi belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 37 Medan. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar siswa terhadap pelajaran PPKn sehingga menyebabkan peserta didik pasif didalam kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil data-data yang ditemukan melalui wawancara dan observasi dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru PPKn memiliki kecakapan dalam memanfaatkan metode pembelajaran cased method dalam meningkatkan partisipasi belajar siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode cased method, peserta didik tidak bersifat pasif dengan mendengarkan guru berceramah melainkan peserta didik berpartisipasi aktif dalam menganalisis sebuah fenomena/permasalahan kemudian memberikan pendapat dan memberikan solusi/alternatif penyelesaian masalah. Kegiatan-kegiatan pembelajaran cased method tersebut tentunya menggambarkan partisipasi aktif belajar siswa. Selain itu peserta didik juga dilatih untuk mampu berpikir kritis dan tentunya berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Cased method, Kecakapan Guru PPKn, Partisipasi Belajar Siswa
