Abstract

The mechanistic-empirical method is one of the techniques used in the design of pavement thickness. Maospati-Sukomoro Road is the primary access to Magetan City which is traversed by heavy vehicle traffic. This research was conducted with the objective to design the pavement thickness and to analyse the pavement performance against fatigue cracking and rutting. Bina Marga 1987 and AASHTO 1993 were used as the empirical method in this research. The results then investigated with KENPAVE program as the mechanistic method. The calculations showed that the Bina Marga 1987 produce Nd value of 7,52x105 and Nf value of 5,77x1012 whereas the AASHTO 1993 produce Nd value of 2,12x109 and Nf value of 1,42x1011. The result indicated that the designed pavement thickness based on the Bina Marga 1987 method is unable to serve the planned traffic load and will be damaged if there is no immediate maintenance work. In another side, the designed pavement thickness based on the AASHTO 1993 method is capable of serving the planned traffic load.

Abstract

Faktor utama terjadinya kerusakan jalan yaitu akibat dari angkutan barang yang membawa beban melebihi sumbu terberat suatu kendaraan (Overload). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membandingkan desain tebal perkerasan menggunakan beban standar dan akibat beban berlebih kendaraan. Metode Austroads digunakan dalam mendesain tebal perkerasan, sedangkan Program Circly 6.0 digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan tebal perkerasan tersebut dalam memikul beban. Data LHR dan beban kendaraan digunakan untuk menghitung nilai Equivalent Standard Axles (ESA), Cumulative Growth Factor (CGF), dan Design Equivalent Standard Axles (DESA), sehingga dapat diketahui jenis material dan tebal setiap lapis perkerasan menggunakan Design Chart. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan tebal lapis perkerasan untuk umur rencana 20 tahun dengan CBR tanah dasar 5% untuk beban standar yaitu Lapis permukaan 17,5 cm (Aspal, Modulus 3000 MPa), Lapis pondasi atas 10 cm (Granular, Modulus 350 MPa), dan lapis pondasi bawah 25 cm (Cemented Material, Modulus 5000 MPa), sedangkan untuk beban berlebih dengan material yang sama, tebal perkerasan terdiri dari Lapis permukaan 22,5 cm, Lapis pondasi atas 10 cm, dan  lapis pondasi bawah 20 cm. Beban berlebih yang digunakan dalam perhitungan masuk dalam kategori pelanggaran tingkat II (5-15%) dan tingkat III (>25%).  Dari Program Circly 6.0 dapat diketahui bahwa desain Lapis perkerasan untuk beban standar maupun beban berlebih sudah memenuhi standar dan aman untuk digunakan. Hal ini ditandai dengan nilai Cumulative Damage Factor (CDF) ≤1

Abstract

lan Maospati – Sukomoro melintasi kawasan pusat perindustrian di Kabupaten Magean.  Hal ini menyebabkan banyak kendaraan-kendaraan berat yang melewati jalan Maospati – Sukomoro. Oleh karena itu, perlu perencanaan khusus agar perkerasan jalan ini mampu menahan beban kendaraan berat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk merancang tebal perkerasan dan nilai kemampuan jalan dalam mengalami retak lelah dan retak alur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Analisa Komponen Bina Marga 1987 dan Metode AUSTROADS yang kemudian dianalisis dengan program Kenpave. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perhitungan tebal perkerasan dengan metode Analisa Komponen Bina Marga 1987 menghasilkan lapis permukaan sebesar 7,5 cm, lapis pondasi atas sebesar 20 cm, lapis pondasi bawah  sebesar 28 cm, sedangkan jika menggunakan metode AUSTROADS menghasilkan lapis permukaan sebesar 26,5 cm, dan lapis pondasi bawah sebesar 50 cm. Hasil menggunakan program Kenpave untuk nilai (Nf) metode Analisa Komponen Bina Marga 1987 ialah 21.546,03 sedangkan metode AUSTROADS 956.862,55. Untuk nilai retak alur (Nd) metode Analisa Komponen Bina Marga 1987 ialah 526.588,54 sedangkan metode AUSTROADS ialah 19.276.509,28. Untuk perhitungan repetisi beban rencana (Nr) ialah 1.945.972,63. Nilai tersebut menunjukan bahwa untuk nilai Nf tidak mampu menahan beban yang direncanakan. Sedangkan nilai yang diperoleh untuk nilai Nd metode Analisa komponen bina marga 1987 tebal perkerasan yang dirancang tidak mampu menahan beban lalu lintas yang direncanakan. Sedangkan untuk nilai Nd metode AUSTROADS tebal perkerasan yang dirancang mampu menahan beban lalu lintas yang telah direncanakan.

Abstract

The main factor for the success of the implementation of education in schools is the infrastructure in the form of completeness of facilities that become the benchmark in all learning activities. To produce students who have comprehensive knowledge must be supported by facilities and skilled teaching staff.   Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Mrisi still needs attention in terms of educational infrastructure facilities that are still lacking with a relatively small number of students. The purpose of this community service is to redesign the buildings, rooms, and the design of school facilities. The initial method used is a survey by measuring and calculating the area of buildings, columns, beams and assessing the existing physical condition and then developing it according to the available land, then it will be simulated using SAP 2000 software, 3D drawings using SketchUp, and calculating the budget plan. The result of the design is a two-level school building with larger beam and column sizes as well as a sturdy and earthquake-resistant structure. Furthermore, several redesigns of facilities such as warehouses, prayer rooms, and first-level classrooms, toilets, canteens, became cleaner and more attractive. The second level is designed for additional classrooms, halls, laboratories, libraries. Other supporting facilities in the form of guard posts, gates, parking lots become more attractive. With a planned budget of Rp 6,226,839,700. -, the school can raise funds to develop school facilities in accordance with the designs that have been made and mutually agreed upon.

Abstract

Cement is commonly used for soil stabilization and many other ground improvement techniques. Cement is believed to be very good to improve the compressive and split-tensile strength of clay subgrades. In some application cement could be partly or fully replaced with carbide waste. This research is to study the effectiveness of the cement replacement and to find the maximum carbide waste content to be allowed for a clay subgrade. The quantities of cement replaced with the carbide waste were 30, 50, 70, 90, and 100% by its mass. The results show that replacing the cement with carbide waste decreased both the compressive and split tensile strength. Replacing cement content with carbide waste reduced its ability for stabilization. The carbide waste content should be less than 70% of the cement to provide a sufficient stabilizing effect on a clay subgrade.

Abstract

The role of tourism is a significant industry in the world, especially in Indonesia, which is a supporter of the economic sector that has speedy growth and provides a significant amount of employment sectors. In the current decade in Yogyakarta, tourism is growing and will become one of the main pillars of the country's economy. Mrisi Hamlet has advantages and natural characteristics that are good for being a location for leisure and sports. Lakes, rivers, and rice fields are natural resources attracted by tourists, supported by a strategic position, namely in the north of the Kasongan craft center and the south of the Madukismo sugar factory. The purpose of this service community is to assist tourism-aware groups to design facilities and infrastructure that can be developed for tourism to take advantage of nature, improve the economy of the region, and generate new jobs using the 3D SketchUp application. Hamlet tourism planning using 3D SketchUp produces excellent quality images because of the use of escape (real-time rendering and virtual reality), which significantly improves the existing condition. All facilities are designed in an artistic and modern style but adapted to natural and environmental conditions, clean toilets with natural designs, and a choice of andesite (natural) stone equipped with shower and rinse rooms. The facilities were also designed in a pleasing arrangement of playgrounds and gardens, swimming pools, and revitalizing the lake with a dike design as a jogging track area that is long enough with guardrails, tree hammocks, gazebos, and relaxing places exciting photo spots.ABSTRAKPeran wisata menjadi industri besar di dunia khususnya di Indonesia sebagai penunjang sektor ekonomi yang memiliki pertumbuhan sangat cepat serta menyediakan sektor dunia kerja yang banyak. Dekade saat ini di Yogyakarta, pariwisata kian berkembang dan akan menjadi salah satu pilar ekonomi negara yang menjanjikan. Dusun Mrisi memiliki kelebihan dan ciri khas alam yang baik untuk dijadikan lokasi pelesir dan olahraga. Danau, sungai, serta hamparan sawah merupakan kekayaan alam yang bisa diminati oleh wisatawan didukung dengan posisi yang strategis yaitu di utara pusat kerajinan Kasongan dan di Selatan pabrik gula Madukiso. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah membantu kelompok sadar wisata untuk mendesain fasilitas sarana dan prasarana   yang bisa dikembangkan untuk pariwisata guna memanfaatkan alam, meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat sekitar, dan membuka lapangan kerja baru dengan menggunakan aplikasi SketchUp 3D. Perencanaan Dusun wisata dengan menggunakan SketchUp 3D menghasilkan gambar dengan kualitas baik karena menggunakan enscape (real-time rendering and virtual reality), memberikan dampak perubahan yang signifikan pada eksisting codition. Semua fasilitas didesain dengan bentuk yang artistik dan modern namun disesuaikan dengan kondisi alam dan lingkungan, toilet yang bersih dengan desain natural dan pilihan batu andesit (alam) dilengkapi dengan ruang mandi dan bilas. Penataan taman bermain dan taman bunga yang baik, kolam renang, serta revitalisasi danau dengan desain tanggul sebagai area joging track yang cukup panjang dengan pagar pembatas, hammock pada pohon, gazebo, serta tempat santai dan spot foto yang menarik.

Abstract

The community service program is carried out in Ngadinegaran, Mantrijeron, DIY. Mantrijeron Urban Village is in the Mantrijeron sub-district area with an area of ​​2.61 km2. Kampung Ngadinegaran is part of the tourist center in the city of Yogyakarta, with high population and during holidays the road conditions also become very crowded and even congestion often occurs. This highly congested traffic condition often causes accidents due to lack of knowledge of traffic safety. The target of this activity is to improve understanding, awareness and knowledge of traffic safety, so that the number of accidents that occur will be reduced. The method in this commuty service is to provide socialization about the importance of traffic safety . The result of socialization shows that the community is very interested in this activity and they want to get more information about traffic safety education regularly because this activity can improve the awareness about traffic safety.

Abstract

Dalam rangka menghadapi tantangan kondisi keamanan yang semakin kompleks dan juga untuk beradaptasi dengan tatanan kehidupan baru di masa pandemi Covid 19, maka untuk itu pengurus RW 04 Dusun Nologaten bermaksud untuk membangun prasarana keamanan guna menunjang kegiatan menjaga keamanan warga dengan membangun Poskamling di wilayah RW 04 Nologaten, Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman. Rencananya Poskamling ini akan digunakan sebagai tempat untuk memantau akses keluar masuk ke RW 04 Dusun Nologaten terutama di malam hari. Selama pandemi ini berlangsung akses keluar masuk di RW 04 Nologaten Caturtunggal Depok Sleman dipusatkan hanya satu pintu saja yang berada di Utara Makam Sasonoloyo, hal ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi keluar masuknya orang dari luar daerah ke Dusun Nologaten RW 04 sehingga harapananya bisa menghindari penyebaran virus Covid 19 yang sekarang sedang mewabah. Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah membantu Pengurus RW 04 Dusun Nologaten dalam mewujudkan poskamling yang mempunyai luas 6,1 x 6,1 m2 dalam bentuk perencanaan pembangunan Poskamling baik berupa bantuan konsultasi teknis sebelum pelaksanaan dan selama pelaksanaan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi proses perancangan struktur bangunan poskamling dan proses pendampingan selama pembangunanya dalam beberapa minggu. Dari proses perancangan dihasilkan dokumen yang terdiri dari gambar desain. Pelaksaaan pengabdian ini hanya bisa terlaksana sampai lantai satu saja, hal ini dikarenakan belum cukupnya dana untuk penyelesaian sampai tahap lantai 2. Dengan sudah terealisasinya lantai 1 maka bisa dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan ronda, penjaagaan kemanan dengan lebih nyaman di wilayah Nologaten RW 04 Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman

Abstract

Solar street lighting (PJU) is an innovation of Appropriate Technology (TTG) as a result of energy engineering from the heat of solar light (the sun) which is converted into electrical energy, stored in batteries and used as a power source for streetlamp lighting. The main reliability of the solar led PJU is that it is not affected when the PLN electricity distribution network is in trouble or maintenance, because the solar led PJU can meet its own energy needs and not from the PLN electricity network. Environmental street lighting in the Minggir III area, RT.01/RW. 06 Sendangagung, Minggir, Sleman is not widely available, so it can interfere with the comfort and safety of road users at night. The livelihoods of the people in this area are farming, raising livestock and trading which often have to be active at night. With this public street lighting, it is hoped that it can provide comfort for road users and the surrounding environment.
