Abstract

Public open space has functioned as a development image and livability of a city. Malioboro is the most famous street in Yogyakarta with various activities and users. Malioboro street is a corridor that has been revitalized. One of the revitalization purposes is developing a public space that should accommodate all users with their activities. This research will be concentrated on the revitalization of Malioboro as a public space. Placemaking is used as an approach to find out the process of forming public space that has already formed at Malioboro street after the revitalization. So, the research aims to find out that process. The method is quantitative approach, which is a questionnaire to know the user's perception (merchant, tourism, and communities) of the placemaking. Aspects of placemaking are from Project of Public Space (PPS) with four variables: uses and activity, comfort and image, access and linkage, and sociability. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed to find out the placemaking process. The result of this research will be how far the process of the public space that occurred in the revitalized Malioboro street.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Nilai keaslian suatu objek wisata menjadi faktor penting yang mempengaruhi tingkat kunjungan wisatawan untuk meningkatkan keterikatan (attachment) wisatawan terhadap tempat wisata. Hal ini membuat wisatawan memiliki hubungan khusus yang menjadikan mereka ingin kembali mendatangi objek wisata terkait. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menguji hubungan antara nilai keaslian (authenticity) dengan keterikatan tempat (place attachment) pengunjung pada destinasi wisata di Yogyakarta. Responden penelitian terdiri dari 65 wisatawan yang pernah berkunjung ke Keraton Kesultanan Yogyakarta dan Monumen Jogja Kembali. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 5 (lima) bagian, yaitu data responden, informasi dasar tentang objek wisata, nilai keaslian (authenticity) objek wisata, nilai keterikatan tempat (place attachment), dan evaluasi kepuasan wisatawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Keraton memiliki jumlah pengunjung yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Monjali. Alasan tingginya jumlah kunjungan Keraton sebagai objek wisata dengan daya tarik budaya adalah karena memiliki nilai authenticity yang lebih tinggi dan mempengaruhi place attachment terhadap pengunjung. Nilai ini relevan dengan konteks sejarah atau warisan di Yogyakarta sehingga mampu memberikan keterikatan secara fungsional dan emosional. Abstract_The authenticity value of a tourist attraction is an essential factor that influences the number of visits to increase tourists’ attachment to tourist attractions. This makes tourists have a special relationship that makes them want to come back. This research was conducted to examine the relationship between the value of authenticity with visitors’ place attachment. The respondents of this research were 65 tourists who had visited the Keraton Kesultanan Yogyakarta and Monumen Jogja Kembali. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire consisting of 5 (five) parts, namely respondent data, basic information about tourism objects, the value of the authenticity of tourism objects, the value of place attachment, and evaluation of tourist satisfaction. The result showed that the Keraton had a higher number of visitors than the Monjali. The reason for the high number of visits to the Keraton as a tourist destination with cultural attraction is because it has a higher authenticity value and affects place attachment to visitors. This value is relevant to the historical context or heritage in Yogyakarta so that it can provide a functional and emotional attachment. Abstract

Kegiatan bermain di sekolah memberikan dampak yang baik pada banyak aspek seperti kesehatan anak melalui aktivitas fisik, aspek kognitif yang membantu anak mengenal lingkungan sekitar, hingga pada aspek sosial melalui komunikasi antar anak dan tenaga pengajar. Elemen lingkungan outdoor sekolah dasar menyediakan ruang yang dapat digunakan anak untuk melakukan eksplorasi berbagai macam permainan, tetapi dengan layout yang dimiliki saat ini oleh sekolah dasar negeri masih terdapat limitasi khususnya pada penyediaan playground. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan ruang outdoor sekolah dasar sebagai ruang bermain anak pada jam istirahat. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN Gondolayu, Yogyakarta melalui metode behavior mapping yang menghasilkan temuan yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan pemanfaatan ruang oleh anak laki-laki dan perempuan serta perbedaan aktivitas bermain oleh anak dalam kelompok usia kelas rendah (kelas 1-3) dengan kelompok usia yang lebih tua (kelas 4-6).
