Abstract

This study aims to determine the purpose of Islamic education in the book Al-Uṣûl aṡ-Ṡalâṡah by Shaîkh Muhammad At-Tamîmiy. The research method uses qualitative methods that are descriptive with the type of library research. The main source of this research is a scholarly book entitled Al-Uṣûl aṡ-Ṡalâṡah wa Adillatuhâ. Based on the results of research shows that the main purpose of Islamic education formulated by Shaîkh Muhammad At-Tamîmiy in his book is inseparable from three basic things, namely that Islamic education aims to make students know Allah Almighty (ma'rifatullâh), know the Prophet (ma'rifatu nabiyyihî), and know Islam and its postulates (ma'rifatu dîn al-islâm bi al-adillah). These three goals are the foundation for all the goals of Islamic education built upon it. Through the knowledge of Allah Almighty, learners will know the consequences of the creed lâ ilâha illallâh and the purpose of its creation, as well as know Allah's rights over His servant and the servant's duty to His Rabb. Through the introduction of His Prophet, learners will know the consequences of the creed of Muhammad rasulullâh. Through the introduction of Islam and its postulates, students will know the nature of their religious teachings which are built on scientific divine values.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, learning foreign languages ​​(Arabic & English) has become a necessity for every student in Islamic boarding schools. Not only adults, but foreign languages ​​have been taught from children to foreign language skills in Islamic boarding schools, which really supports them in other knowledge, especially books in Arabic and English. Santri in the current millennial era must be able to do everything, in the field of da'wah in the general public and in their own families. Therefore, students must be skilled in communicating well and using two languages, namely Arabic and English at the An Nursali Modern Islamic Boarding School. This journal discusses the foreign language communication skill methods applied at the An Nursali Islamic Boarding School. This method involves collecting data by observing their learning and daily activities. Based on the results of research conducted, it was concluded that foreign language learning at the An Nursali Modern Islamic Boarding School uses a curriculum prepared independently by the teachers because it is still local content, not national content.

Abstract

The works of Yusuf al-Qaradawi have had a significant impact on the development of Islamic religious education, particularly in the current digital era. His writings encompass various aspects of modern life and offer relevant Islamic insights that can be applied in diverse contexts, including education. In an age characterized by rapid change and widespread information dissemination, Yusuf al-Qaradawi's works provide guidance for Islamic educators and students to understand and confront contemporary challenges. This abstract outlines his influence in enriching Islamic religious education in the digital era, highlighting his significant contributions in integrating Islamic values with technology, addressing contemporary issues, and fostering critical thinking among Muslim students. By understanding his influence, we can appreciate the role played by Yusuf al-Qaradawi's works in shaping a meaningful and relevant Islamic religious education for the current digital generation
