Abstract

In an event, the room is one of the things that must be considered. An event can be said to be good if the placement and arrangement of furniture and other equipment as well as reading materials need to be placed and arranged in such a way that what is presented looks attractive. Through the KKN program carried out by students at Mpu Tantular University Jakarta with the dedication method by renovating campus facilities which is expected to trigger other parties to concentrate more on determining the room for holding the event.

Abstract

The The main objective of this study is to analyze the implementation of quality control in the process, types of defects, and factors that cause defects in the Trimming II process and improve product quality. The method used is the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method with control aids (cheeksheet, Pareto diagram, histogram, cause and effect diagram, and control chart, scatter. The results of the study using the seven tools method found 4 types of defects in the Trimming II process defects such as scratched rear panels, crooked cross shaft frame, blower unfunction, and loose horn bracket bolts. The results of histogram diagram analysis for the highest type of defect are bolt bracket horn types the horn bracket bolts) are loose by 548. The results of the analysis of the Pareto diagram for the type of defect of the horn bracket bolts are loose by 34.6%. meaning it is still not under control. Based on the cause effect diagram and the causative factors of the type ca loose horn bracket bolts analyzed using the 5W+1H method, namely fatigue and inaccuracy at work, employee experience and understanding, dirty smelly material, difference in bolt size, disturbing noise, dusty production line conditions, hot production line temperature conditions.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan EPC swasta nasional yang bergerak di bidang Bulk Material Handling Systems serta Energy and Marine Equipment. Dalam operasionalnya, perusahaan mengandalkan mesin coal conveyor sebagai sarana utama pemindahan dan pengolahan batu bara. Sepanjang tahun 2022, perusahaan mengalami peningkatan frekuensi kerusakan pada mesin coal conveyor yang berdampak pada tingginya downtime, tidak tercapainya target produktivitas, serta meningkatnya biaya perawatan tidak terencana. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem pemeliharaan yang diterapkan belum mampu mengantisipasi potensi kegagalan peralatan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi mode kegagalan pada mesin coal conveyor serta merumuskan kebijakan pemeliharaan yang lebih efektif melalui penerapan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi historis kerusakan mesin selama periode Januari hingga Desember 2022. Metode FMEA digunakan untuk menentukan tingkat prioritas risiko kegagalan berdasarkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN), sedangkan RCM digunakan untuk menetapkan tindakan pemeliharaan yang sesuai melalui proses task selection. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat sembilan komponen kritis dengan nilai RPN tertinggi, yaitu gear box (450), plummer block (432), magnetic separator (343), roller idler (240), drive pulley (180), belt cleaner (168), motor listrik (144), belt conveyor (135), dan cooler (112). Kebijakan pemeliharaan yang diusulkan diharapkan mampu mengurangi risiko kegagalan berulang, menurunkan downtime mesin, serta meningkatkan keandalan dan efisiensi operasional sistem coal conveyor di PT. XYZ
