Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak terapi REBT berbasis Sufistik dalam menurunkan tingkat prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa di IAIN Tulungagung. Subjek  penelitian adalah 36 Mahasiswa dari seluruh fakultas di IAIN Tulungagung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan rancangan eksperimen one group pretest-posttest.design. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala prokrastinasi akademik yang dikembangkan oleh Mccloskey, untuk mengukur perubahan yang terjadi setelah pemberian tritmen. Hasil uji independent sample T- Test untuk N Gain score didapatkan nilai sig  (2-Tailed) sebesar 0, 000 dimana lebih kecil dari nilaik kritik 0, 05 (sig. < 0, 05) . Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa terapi Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy berbasis sufistik  efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat prokrastinasi mahasiswa  IAIN Tulungagung

Abstract

Happiness is the universal concept that is widely studied in psychology based on the perspective and value of Western society by using a variety of selfreport methods. But, there is still a limited number of research trying to present and develop the concept of happiness of Eastern society who are noted with spiritual aspects, particulary the sufis. This article is a study about Al-Ghazali’s Sufism Happiness Inventory (ASHI), which is a measure of valid and reliable happiness for Sufis aged 20-60 years. It was piloted project and developed to measure four happiness aspects i.e. consciousness of self, consciousness of Allah, consciousness of the world, and consciousness of the hereafter. The result of validity test obtained by 30 respondents confirmed ASHI’s poin validity and r value (Corrected Item-Total Correlation) was 0,361-0,646 with 27 valid items. Futhermore, The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient was 0,837, which confirmed the scale’s internal consistency reliability. Therefore, ASHI could be used to measure the effect of psychoterapy and its influence to happiness of sufi.

Abstract

High rate of recidivism on terrorists  indicates  the weakness of deradicalization programs. This study aims to offer  a solution through development of a cognitive psychotherapy  which based on  Indonesia Islam values. The integration among Islam, culture and psychotherapy is able to help the terrorists to identify and restructure their cognitive that causes their emotion and destructive  behaviors. This qualitivative study mixes between literature and phenomenology approaches. This study found that there are conflicting differences between the views of the terrorists and ijtihad of Indonesia Ulama regarding  khilafah, jihad and takfiri concepts. In Addition, the model of cognitive psychotherapy based on Indonesian Islamic values was developed by content analysis and its implementation followed several systematic procedures such as anamnesis, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, result of intervention,  follow up. Embracing humantic approach and collaborative Empiricism procesures enable the therapy effectively internalize Indonesia Islamic values such as Tasamuh (tolerance), Tawasuth (moderate), Tawazun (balanced), 'Adalah (Justice) and Ukhuwah (Brotherhood), which includes ukhuwah Islamiyah (other Muslims), Ukhuwah Wathoniyah (fellow citizens), Ukhuwah basyariah (fellow citizens) for the terrorists. These values could be intentionally internalized by terrorist itself and threfore it would be effective model  to modify terrorists’ destructive thought schemas (cognitive), emotion and behavior to be adaptive.      Abstrak Residivisme pelaku terorisme yang tinggi menunjukkan kelemahan program deradikalisasi. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk menawarkan konstruksi model psikoterapi kognitif berbasis nilai Islam Indonesia sebagai salah satu solusi. Sebuah integrasi antara Islam, budaya dan psikoterapi dalam membantu pelaku terorisme mengidentifikasi dan merestrukturisasi kognitif yang menjadi penyebab emosi dan perilaku destruktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan perpaduan studi literatur dan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menemukan adanya perbedaan pandangan  yang kontradiktif antara pelaku terorisme dan ijtihad Ulama Nusantara mengenai konsep khilafah, Jihad dan Takfiri.  Selain itu model psikoterapi kognitif berbasis nilai Islam Indonesia dihasilkan melalui pengujian  isi serta menerapkan beberapa prosedur atau tahapan yang sistematis yaitu anamnesis, pemeriksaan, diagnosis, kontruksi model terapi, hasil intervensi dan tindak lanjut. Melalui pendekatan humanis dan prosedur collaborative Empiricism terapi ini memungkinkan nilai-nilai Islam Indonesia yang mengedepankan Tasamuh (toleransi), Tawasuth (moderat), Tawazun (berimbang),‘ Adalah  (Keadilan), dan Ukhuwah (Persaudaraan) yang meliputi ukhuwah Islamiyah (sesama Islam), Ukhuwah Wathoniyah (Sesama warga negara), Ukhuwah basyariah (sesama umat manusia) dapat terinternalisasi dengan kesadaran dan tanggung jawab dari pelaku teroris itu sendiri, serta dapat efektif mengubah skema berpikir,emosi dan perilaku teroris menjadi adaptif.

Abstract

The rise of pro-social behavior in the modern era in diverse forms at all levels of the social good, individual, group, corporation deemed to have not succeeded in creating a growing social transformation. The concept of sincere look at the failure of transformation caused by tilting motif of a transcendental interest [254] Kontemplasi, Volume 04 Nomor 02, Desember 2016to dwell on the motives toward selfishnes. Meanwhile, the concept of social awareness accused Gemeinschaftsgefuhl or failure due to strong motive personal excellence, as well as the existence of discrepancies between the motives of social awareness in a way or purpose (result) is expected. Social care emphasizes the importance of the way (method) and the objectives are verified by the results in the form of the success of all people in the community are ideal. Despite differences realm that limits the extent to which a behavior can be tested, sincere and social care have the same value that prosocial behavior can not be understood as a response to the positive consequences as well as the paradigm behavioristis Skinnerian, but the liberation of man from the attributes of affirmation of personal excellence.Keywords: Social concern, Ikhlas, Pro-social

Abstract

Positivistic hegemony in psychology is entrenched from the beginning of its birth in 1879. The ontology of modern psychology emphasizes on observable empirical realities. However, the human side of the aspect of the imaginable region is included in irrationality. This work system is seen in the process of diagnostic classification of mental disorders in PPDGJ which is full of cultural bias or legal practice of causality in the flow of behavioristic, whose practice negates the uniqueness of each individual human being studied (individual differences). The generalist assumptions of knowledge based on objective and universal methods of natural sciences are at odds with the spirit of psychology harmonize humans. Therefore, the psychology of postmodernism comes as a critique and offer in understanding human behavior as a whole by using various paradigms both using communicative hermeneutics and Derrida deconstruction.

Abstract

Parenting styles significantly influence adolescent self-confidence, particularly during high school, a critical stage of identity development. This study examines the effects of authoritarian, democratic, and permissive parenting styles on the self-confidence of senior high school students in Blitar Regency, Indonesia. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected through questionnaires from 78 students aged 15–17. Descriptive analysis showed that democratic parenting had the highest mean score (M = 44.06, SD = 6.96), while permissive parenting had the lowest (M = 23.28, SD = 5.63). Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that democratic parenting positively influenced self-confidence (B = 0.513, p < 0.05), whereas authoritarian (B = -0.242, p = 0.016) and permissive styles (B = -0.223, p = 0.050) had negative effects. The model explained 35.9% of the variance in self-confidence (Adjusted R² = 0.359). These findings emphasize the importance of democratic parenting, which balances emotional support with structured guidance, in fostering adolescent self-confidence. The study provides practical insights for parents, educators, and policymakers in Indonesia, highlighting the need for parenting programs that promote warmth, open communication, and appropriate boundaries. These strategies can enhance adolescent psychological well-being and contribute to more effective educational and family interventions.

Abstract

Despite global students' mental health problems being prevalent, adequate attention and resources to treat mental health problems are still lacking. Meanwhile, several studies found that religious commitment and gratitude can play an essential role in addressing the issue of mental health problems. This study explored religious commitment to promote mental health and gratitude as moderating variables to address this gap. This study used the Brief Scale of Mental Health 12, the General Mental Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), the Gratitude Resentment and Appreciation Test (GRAT), and the Religious Commitment Inventory (RCI–10) scales. Data were taken from 320 students of four state Islamic Universities in East Java, Indonesia. This study utilized descriptive and regression analysis techniques. The result of the data analysis demonstrated three main findings as follows. First, the students had a high level of mental health. Second, religious commitment positively affected mental health. Third, gratitude could become a variable that strengthens the relationship between religious commitment and mental health. Research implication in education is attempting to improve mental health among students not merely on the religious commitment but also on emphasizing systematic ways to develop gratitude in students' daily lives as a moderator that plays a role in maintaining the relationship between mental health and religious commitment. This study was based solely on a quantitative approach; therefore, a mixed-method model is recommended for further investigation to understand the process of improving mental health through religious commitment and students' gratitude better.

Abstract

All this time, fundraising for the Foundationof Zakat Administrator (LPZ) keeps some ambivalence. Although fundraising is rated as stimulus of LPZ programs, policies and strategies of professional fundraising-especially the psychological based- get no serious attention. This fact results in many unsuccessful LPZ in realizing the potential of the very large number of zakat in the motherland simultaneously with the increasing of philanthropy awareness of Indonesian muslim. The needs for revamping the fundraising policy on LPZ isin associated with method or approach that should be more count heavily on complexity of the donors psychological aspects include the interaction of decision making process of a donor with demographics aspect and social norms with the result that causes someone decides to donate. Understanding and approaching psychology in fundraising at once are not only encourage the increase of the quantity of donors and donation amount provided, but also raise the position of donors as an object into a subject that also fully and actively involved in running the zakat axiological aspects i.e. functional worship which carry out the empowerment of ummah principle in order to be able to get out of poverty.Keywords: Fundraising, Zakat, Psychological approach
