Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan dari infrastruktur fisik dan nonfisik kesehatan berhubungan dengan pembangunan kesehatan penduduk di Provinsi Sumatera Utara serta melakukan estimasi variabel ketersediaan infrastruktur fisik dan nonfisik kesehatan yang mempengaruhi kesehatan penduduk di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.Data penelitian ini diambil untuk periode tahun 2013 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 33 kabupaten/kota di propinsi Sumatera Utara. Data penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yaitu, data dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan Profil Kesehatan Provinsi Sumatera Utara yaitu berupa data tentang Indeks Pembnagunan Manusia, Ketersediaan Infrstruktur Kesehatan, Tenaga Medis, dan Aksebilitas di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling.Berdasarkan uji F, dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel Pembangunan Kesehatan yang diproksikan dengan Infrastruktur Kesehatan, Tenaga Medis, dan Aksebilitas secara simultan signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap Pembnagunan Kesehatan Penduduk. Selanjutnya, hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa variabel Infrastruktur Kesehatan dan Tenaga Medis secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap Pembangunan Kesehatan Masyarakat. Sedangkan variabel Aksebilitas tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Pembangunan Kesehatan Masyarakat.Dari model regresi yang dihasilkan, Infrastruktur Kesehatan mempunyai koefisien terbesar sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ketersediaan Infrastruktur Kesehatan adalah indikator yang paling dominan. Kata kunci : Pembangunan Kesehatan, Infrastruktur Kesehatan, Tenaga Medis, dan Aksebilitas

Abstract

Pada  penelitian  yang  dilakukan,  Penulis  menyoroti  masalah  dari dampak  penurunan harga  sawit  dalam  kaitannya  dengan  kondisi  sosial  ekonomi  keluarga  di Pantai Timur Sumatera utara  yang  berprofesi  sebagai  petani  sawit, yaitu  dengan  membandingkan   kondisi  sosial  ekonomi  masyarakat  sebelum  dan  sesudah  penurunan  harga  di  Pantai  Timur  Sumatera  utara.  Dalam  hal  ini,  dampak  penurunan  harga  sawit  terhadap  kondisi  sosial  ekonomi  petani  tidak  positif,  yang  berarti  penurunan  harga  sawit  memberikan  pengaruh  yang  cukup  besar  terhadap  kondisi  sosial  ekonomi  petani,  baik itu  dalam  segi  pendapatan, pendidikan, maupun  kesehatan.  Guna  memperoleh  data  maupun  tanggapan  dari  masyarakat  yang  berprofesi  sebagai  petani   secara  langsung,  Penulis  langsung  datang  kelapangan  melakukan  penelitian  serta  membagikan  angket (kuesioner)  kepada  100  responden  yang   tinggal di  Kecamatan  Sipispis Kabupaten  Serdang bedagai dan  Kecamatan  Raya kahean  Kabupaten  Simalungun.Dengan  berpedoman  pada  Hipotesa  yang  diajukan  yaitu  Ho: Tidak terdapat perbedaan kondisi pendapatan  sebelum  dan  sesudah penurunan  harga  kelapa sawit di Pantai Timur Sumatera utara. Ha : Ada  perbedaan  kondisi  pendapatan  sebelum  dan  sesudah  penurunan  harga  kelapa  sawit  di  Pantai  Timur  Sumatera  utara.  Maka  Ha diterima  dan  Ho ditolak  setelah  dilakukan  analisa  data  dengan  uji t.  Dampak  penurunan  harga  sawit  memberikan  dampak  yang  signifikan  terhadap  kondisi  sosial  ekonomi   di  Pantai  Timur  Sumatera  utara. Kata Kunci : Harga Sawit, kesejahteraan Petani Sawit

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to formulate a determinant model of capital structure and firm value. The population of this study is the tourism industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2018. In this study the entire population is sampled (Total Sampling). Data collection procedures by collecting audited (annual report) financial report data issued by the Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD). The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that partially profitability, institutional ownership and firm size had a significant effect on capital structure while company growth had no significant effect on capital structure. Simultaneously the profitability variables, institutional ownership, company growth and company size affect the capital structure. Partially profitability, institutional ownership, company size and capital structure have a significant effect on firm value, while company growth does not significantly influence firm value Simultaneously profitability, Institutional ownership, company size, company growth and capital structure have a significant effect on company value in the sector tourism industry.

Abstract

This study aims to study the factors that influence the Consumptive Behavior of Students and produce a Model of Consumptive Behavior of Students of the Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Private University in Medan City. This research is a basic research (basic research). The population in this study were all students of the Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Private University in Medan City. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling with the criteria of students of the Development Economics Study Program in semester IV and VI. The determination of the number of samples in this study is based on the Central Limit Theorem which states that the number of samples to achieve the normal curve is at least 30 respondents. The reason for determining the number of samples using the Central Limit Theorem is because the total population in this study is unknown. A total of 150 questionnaires were sent so that respondents who returned the questionnaires were expected to be at least 30 students. Data collection techniques used are interviews (interviews), list of questions (questionaire) and study documentation. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant effect of Lifestyle on Consumption Behavior, there was a significant influence of Financial Literacy on Consumption Behavior. There is a significant effect of Financial Literacy on Consumption Behavior which is moderated by Religiousity and there is no significant effect of the moderating effect of Religion on the relationship between Lifestyle and Consumption Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a Model of Measurement of Motivation and Career Interest of Accounting Students as Tax Consultants: Studies at Private Universities in Medan City. While the specific objective is to study the factors that influence the motivation and career interest of Accounting Students as Tax Consultants at Private Universities in Medan City and produce a Measurement Model of Motivation and Career Interests of Accounting Students as Tax Consultants: Studies at Private Universities in Medan City. The population in this study were all accounting students at several private universities in Medan City. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling with the criteria of students majoring in accounting in semester IV and VI. The type of data used in this research is primary data. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and data analysis using the help of a computer program, namely SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science). The results show that partially and simultaneously quality motivation, career motivation and economic motivation have a significant effect on Student Career Interests. Abstract

Supervision is all the activities undertaken by the manager in an effort to ensure that the actual results in accordance with the planned results. Job satisfaction cannot be felt by employees due to the company's career development programs that are less clear and have not been able to guarantee the future of employees. The research method using quantitative approach, the type of research used descriptive quantitative. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The population used is all employees who numbered 78 people. Determination of sample in research using saturated sample that is with all employees amounted to 78 people. The results showed that career development and supervision simultaneously and partially have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction with the value of determinant coefficient of 0.132 or 13,2%, while the remaining 86,8% influenced by other variables not examined. The conclusion of the research is simultaneously and partially career development and supervision have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Kartika Swarna Dwipa (Company in Sales Tupperware).Keywords: Career Development, Supervision, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Every company will always be faced with uncertain situations that may support or hinder the company in achieving its goals. To be able to determine an attitude or take a decision in the face of a situation full of uncertainty, managers/managers need a variety of information. Good decisions can be made by managers at every level of management, if efficient, precise and direct information is available. How information is presented to managers depends on the merits of the management information system of the company. To discuss these problems, literature research and field research were carried out at PT. Indonesian Trading Company Medan. The results of research and discussion explain that a good management information system will have the ability to process data from all company activities into useful information and take over the management decision-making process.  Although the supporting factors are adequate, there are still system errors and weaknesses in the design and implementation. These weaknesses are like processing data into information which takes a lot of time because information is processed in every part of the company so that it requires continuous supervision from the leaders. Information is distributed based on levels according to the organizational structure from superiors to subordinates. If circumstances force, the distribution of the information will no longer take place based on the level but directly to the superior, because the superior is obliged to make decisions that are exceptions to the problem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan, mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan dan pengalaman kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Bank SUMUT Kantor Pusat Medan. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan asosiatif. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Bank SUMUT Kantor Pusat Medan yaitu 78 karyawan. Metode pengambilan data dengan menggunakan angkat (kuesioner) yang dibagikan kepada karyawan yang dijadikan sampel penelitian ini. Teknik Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji asumsi klasik dan regresi linier berganda. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh secara parsial pada variabel pelatihan terhadap kinerja dan variabel pengalaman kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara simultan variabel Pelatihan dan Pengalaman kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Bank SUMUT Kantor Pusat Medan. Disarankan kepada pihak pimpinan untuk lebih memperbaiki pelatihan, dan mempertahankan hasil dari pengalaman kerja karyawannya.Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, Pengalaman Kerja, Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract

Penelitian kuliah kerja nyata ini dilakukan di desa Bandar Baru kecamatan Sibolangit, kabupaten Deli, sumatera utara. Kuliah kerja nyata ini bertema “Kewirausahaan dan Bisnis” yang bertujuan agar dapat membantu meningkatkan perekonomian dan keterampilan masyarakat, baik dari segi pengelolaan sumber daya alam menjadi sebuah barang yang bisa diperjual belikan. Desa Bandar Baru adalah Desa dengan kawasan pemukiman, terminal, pasar, sarana rekreasi, penginapan- penginapan, dan lahan pertanian. Di Desa Bandar Baru terkenal sebagai tempat wisata yang beragam, mulai dari taman bermain bertaraf Internasional seperti Hillpark, Hotel dan Villa, pertanian sayur-sayuran, taman pramuka yang biasa digunakan intuk kegiatan edukasi atau kegiatan berkemah serta taman wisata sibolangit yang sangat asri dan sejuk. Usaha yang dilakukan warga setempat adalah anyaman bambu yang sudah menjadi usaha sehari-hari masyarakat Desa Bandar. Dengan adanya pemberdayaan dan pemanfaatan Bambu ini maka dapat membantu menghasilkan pendapatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational commitment and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Main Unit for North Sumatra Region. This research approach uses an associative and quantitative approach. The sampling technique used a sampling technique using the slovin formula totaling 65 people. The data collection technique used in this study used a questionnaire/questionnaire and interview techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses Multiple Linear Regression, Classical Assumption Test, Hypothesis Testing (t-test and f-test) and Coefficient of Determination. The data processing in this study used the SPSS (Statistical Package For the Social Sciences) software version 16.0. The results showed that simultaneously organizational commitment and work discipline had a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT. PLN (Persero) Main Unit for North Sumatra Region. Based on the partial test, it shows that the organizational commitment variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and the work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT. PLN (Persero) Main Unit for North Sumatra Region.
