Abstract

The community service program aims to provide parents with an understanding of their role in mitigating learning loss in the digital era, an overview of the digital era, the characteristics, causes, impacts and skills in mitigating learning loss as well as knowledge about effective learning strategies for children. Conducted by outreach to 40 members of the PKK women's group RT 04/RW 06Sawahan Village, Jaten, Karanganyar on July 17, 2022. The implementation of the activities is divided into five stages; Analysis of the problems and needs of parents, initial tests, delivery of material, discussions and questions and answers, and final tests. The results of this socialization program show an increase in parents' understanding and knowledge regarding learning loss mitigation in the digital era and foster the enthusiasm of parents to participate in assisting children so that they are not affected by learning loss and try to apply it in accompanying children's learning activities

Abstract

Social media is currently experiencing very rapid development. So it can provide a virtual open space, as is the case with Twitter social media, which offers a forum for netizens to gather and discuss certain topics. The problem with netizens in expressing their own opinions often ends in punishing someone who is deemed to have made a mistake, which is often called cancel culture and experts have different opinions regarding cancel culture. The cancel culture phenomenon has become a relatively growing discussion and problem on social media and is considered a post-modern sociological problem. This research aims to try to provide an overview in the field regarding the cancel culture phenomenon in cases of sexual violence as part of a tool of social control. This research uses a qualitative phenomenological method, data is taken from interviews and observations with 7 followers of the @areajulid autobase account. The results of the research concluded that 1) The sources criticized perpetrators of sexual violence in different ways. 2) Cancel culture is a tool of social control through ridicule and ridicule as well as rumors/gossip. So, through social control of cancel culture on Twitter social media as an effort to minimize cases of social pathology or social crimes, through implementing cancel culture as a preventive effort in using social media wisely.

Abstract

Penelitian ini penting dilakukan untuk mempersiapkan, memberikan dan meningkatkan keterampilan hidup anak agar mempunyai bekal keterampilan melalui pembinaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa upaya panti asuhan Mardhatillah dalam membina keterampilan hidup anak asuh di Sukoharjo. Teori learning by doing digunakan untuk menjelaskan pelatihan keterampilan hidup. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus, terdapat sebanyak 20 informan dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data tentang jenis upaya pembinaan keterampilan hidup dikumpulkan dengan wawancara terstruktur, observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk memberi pandangan kepada pembaca terkait pembinaan keterampilan di panti asuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kegiatan pembinaan keterampilan hidup di panti asuhan Mardhatillah yang terdiri dari tiga kegiatan yaitu pembinaan memasak, menjahit dan keagamaan. Pada akhirnya upaya panti asuhan dalam mengadakan pembinaan mampu memberikan manfaat berupa bekal keterampilan hidup bagi anak asuh.

Abstract

Difable is one part of Indonesian citizens in their daily activities. One of the problems experienced by people with disabilities is getting negative stigma, discrimination, and the limited availability of job opportunities. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research location is at Difable cafe Jl. Madubronto No. 08, Sondakan Purwosari, Laweyan, Surakarta, Central Java. Collecting data sources through interviews, observation, and documentation. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique, namely to 8 informants. The data validity test technique uses triangulation of data sourced from Difable Cafe customers. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used the theory of Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the empowerment show that the Difable Cafe carries out an empowerment process that is said to be able to increase the empowerment of people with disabilities and be able to empower the economy of people with disabilities. The empowerment of waiters is also quite successful which is carried out by Difable Cafe for people with disabilities. This empowerment aims to improve quality, improve the economy for daily needs, and reduce the number of unemployed persons with disabilities in Indonesia.
