Abstract

The focus of this study is to analyze how the implementation of Employee Work Discipline in Sukasari Sumedang Village Office. The purpose of this research is for work discipline and how to apply work discipline as well as obstacles and solutions. The design of this research using qualitative method that is descriptive by conducting direct observation, conducting interviews, collecting data in the form of documents. Researchers use qualitative methods with case study approach. Creswell in Sugiyono (2020:6) case study is one type of qualitative research, where researchers conduct an in-depth exploration of programs, events, processes, activities, against one or more people. According to Bejo Siswanto in Lijan Poltak Sinambela (2019:356) are indicators that affect work discipline including attendance frequency, level of vigilance, adherence to work standards, adherence to work rules and work ethic. The target of the informant that the researcher chose was the Village Head, Secretary, and Sukasari Village Employee. Based on the results of the interview, it was concluded that the work discipline at sukasari sumedang village office has been running optimally in accordance with the regulations applied oraganisasi. In addition, the implementation of employee work discipline is based on the basis of consideration in the form of prohibitions and obligations applicable to employees.

Abstract

The focus of this study aims to see how the application of leadership style in the Sumedang District BAZNAS, the dimensions of the Leadership Style used are five dimensions, the first dimension is nature, the second dimension is habit, the third dimension is temperament, the fourth dimension is character, and the fifth dimension namely personality. This type of research used by researchers is descriptive qualitative, data that has been collected and then performed data reduction is summarizing and selecting data, then presenting data, then finally drawing conclusions so that it provides a complete description and a true picture. The informants of this study are Deputy Chair 1, Public Relation and Information Services, Financial Coordinator, Executor Implementer. Pengindustrian & pendayagunaan. The results of the research on the leadership style of the Sumedang District BAZNAS were categorized quite well based on the five dimensions used, the leadership style in the Sumedang District BAZNAS included in the Humanistic Leadership Style, seen from the communicative leadership nature so that it has a very good relationship with employees, then decision making use the road of deliberation, consensus, and the leadership is always open to employees in terms of receiving input or suggestions from employees. It can be concluded that the application of leadership style in the BAZNAS of Sumedang Regency is appropriate, and for suggestions to be further enhanced on the concept of commitment and consistency from the leadership

Abstract

The focus of this research is to analyze how the implementation of Employee Work Discipline at PT. Bussan Auto Finance (BAF) Sumedang Branch. This study aims to determine Work Discipline and what efforts are made to improve Work Discipline at PT. Bussan Auto Finance (BAF) Sumedang Branch. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. According to Steven Dukeshire & Jennifer Thurlow (Sugiyono, 2020: 3) stated that qualitative research is concerned with data that is not numbers, collecting and analyzing narrative data. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, the researcher uses the data analysis method of the Miles and Huberman model, the activities in the data analysis which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The theory of this research and the dimensions used from the theory according to Bejo Siswanto (Sinambela, 2019:356) are indicators that affect work discipline including frequency of attendance, level of alertness, obedience to work standards, obedience to work regulations, and work ethics. Based on the results of interviews, observations and data analysis, it was concluded that Work Discipline at PT. Bussan Auto Finance (BAF) Sumedang Branch as a whole has been running quite well in accordance with the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and company regulations. While suggestions that can be used as material for further consideration is that in the application of employee work discipline, participation between superiors and employees is needed in enforcing discipline. PT. Bussan Auto Finance (BAF) Sumedang Branch should further emphasize the sanctions given to employees who commit violations, in order to provide a deterrent effect and so that employees do not repeat the same mistakes
