Abstract

development and work discipline on employee performance at PT Asuransi Jiwa Astra. This study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 53 people. Data was obtained based on the distribution of questionnaires or questionnaires. Data processing using  SPSS Version 29 software. The results of the study show that partially career development has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, shown by the tcal>ttable value (3.871>2.00758) significance value of 0.001 (0.001<0.05) and the regression coefficient has a positive value of 0.399. Work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, shown by the tcal>ttable value (2.851>2.00758) a significance value of 0.006 (0.006<0.05) and the regression coefficient has a positive value of 0.358. Simultaneously, career development and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, shown by the value of F calculate>F table (499,987>2.79) and a significance of 0.001 (0.001<0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on the performance of vehicle testers at the Tangerang Regency Transportation Office. This study is motivated by the importance of improving the quality of motor vehicle testing services, where human resource competence and procedural compliance are key factors. The research method uses an associative quantitative approach with census sampling techniques, involving all testing officers. Data were collected through questionnaires and observations, then analyzed by classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that both competence and the implementation of SOPs have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. These findings reinforce the human resource management theory that improved competence and procedural discipline can drive operational performance. This study provides practical contributions in the form of recommendations for improving competency-based training programs and strict supervision of the implementation of SOPs. The policy implications of this study can be a reference for relevant agencies in formulating strategies to improve service quality. The proportion of influence of other factors that were not studied opens up opportunities for further research by adding variables such as leadership or incentive systems.

Abstract

Communication, Knowledge Management, and Teamwork can influence employee Work Effectiveness. In this case, communication has not been optimal, knowledge management has not yet been implemented, and teamwork among employees is still lacking, which hinders work effectiveness. This study aims to determine the effect of communication and knowledge management on work effectiveness through teamwork at PT Graha Karya Plasindo. This research is a quantitative survey study. The sampling technique used in this research was saturated sampling, with a total of 87 respondents who are employees of PT Graha Karya Plasindo. The data obtained were analyzed using the PLS (Partial Least Square) technique through SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Communication has a significant effect on Work Effectiveness; (2) Knowledge Management has a significant effect on Work Effectiveness; (3) Teamwork has a significant effect on Work Effectiveness; (4) Communication has a significant effect on Work Effectiveness through Teamwork; and (5) Knowledge Management has a significant effect on Work Effectiveness through Teamwork.   Keywords: Communication, Knowledge Management, Work Effectiveness, Teamwork

Abstract

This study examines the influence of media exposure, gender diversity, and managerial ownership on corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure, with independent board of commissioners as a moderating variable. Conducted on Consumer Non-Cyclicals sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018-2022, this research addresses the growing importance of CSR transparency in building stakeholder trust and corporate accountability. Using purposive sampling, eleven companies were selected as samples, with secondary data analyzed through panel data regression and moderation regression. Findings reveal that gender diversity and managerial ownership significantly influence CSR disclosure, while media exposure shows no significant effect. The independent board of commissioners effectively moderates the relationship between gender diversity and managerial ownership with CSR disclosure, but fails to moderate media exposure's impact. This research contributes to corporate governance literature by identifying the supervisory role of independent commissioners in strengthening the relationship between firm characteristics and CSR disclosure. The findings provide practical implications for management in enhancing social transparency and offer regulatory insights for developing more effective corporate governance policies, particularly within the Indonesian business context.

Abstract

Social media is now widely used in almost all companies, the reason is to reach consumers more quickly, easily and widely. Social media (Instagram, Whatsapp, Facebook, etc.) is part of digital marketing, namely product marketing efforts using digital media and internet networks. The change in marketing behavior from conventional to digital is not balanced by the existence of SMEs that use digital marketing, even though SMEs are believed to be able to stimulate the Indonesian economy. The methods used in this community service activity are training, lectures and questions and answers, and discussions. The result of this activity is to provide several solutions to be able to look for new business opportunities to maintain business continuity, namely utilizing social media. Apart from that, increasing digital marketing knowledge and increasing knowledge regarding the use of WhatsApp business social media as a sales promotion media. The conclusion of this activity is very useful for SMEs in providing suggestions, especially regarding digital marketing strategies.
