The problem of this research is the interaction between teachers and students in the process of implementing learning, which is done so that student perceptions related to interactions between teachers can trigger a learning process well, so as not to cause failure for the teacher when implementing learning. In the learning process, the interaction between teachers and students greatly affects students' interest in learning, in which the teacher plays an important role during the learning process. The research method is about the basis for conducting research related to student perceptions regarding the interaction between teachers and students in the learning process. The design of the author of this scientific work with a qualitative research study based on literature review. Analysis of sources obtained comes from relevant journal sources and reference books. Results and discussion, namely the interaction between teachers and students in the learning process. Student response or acceptance is related to an action taken between the teacher and students so that students can understand an important interaction concept in learning. The existence of an interaction carried out by a teacher towards students can make students become brave and confident to communicate (express opinions) such as during discussions, questions and answers, quizzes and rewards. The interaction between teachers and students in the learning process must be equally active. An affectionate and conducive atmosphere that is successfully built in a relationship will make a person able to direct the interaction in a positive direction. This concept is very important and relevant not only to the concept of education today but also to education in the future.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of the meaningful instructional design learning model on the history learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri Noman. The research design is in the form of True Experimental Design, pre-test post-test control group design category. The research was conducted at Noman State High School with a population of class XI students. Sampling was carried out with saturated samples so that the samples taken were students from class XI.IPS.1 as the experimental class and class XI.IPS.2 as the control class. Telnol data collection was carried out using a test technique consisting of 30 questions. The collected data was then analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the Meaningful Instructional Design learning model on the history learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri Noman. This can be seen from the average pretest and posttest scores for the experimental class, which are 62.31 and 85.72. Meanwhile, the average pre-test and post-test scores for the control class were 61.59 and 71.24. So there is a difference in learning outcomes for the experimental class of 24.13 while for the control class it is 9.65. This result is strengthened by calculating the "t" test (hypothesis test) where tcount (7,600) > ttable (2,000) for a significance level of 5% with dk = 60, so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the implementation of teacher competency in 21st- century learning at SMP IPK Muhammadiyah Delanggu, specifically highlighting the quality of the teaching and learning process execution. This evaluation research utilizes the CIPP Model (Context, Input, Process, Product) approach, with the main focus on the Process dimension to analyze how teacher competencies are translated into classroom instruction. Data were collected through structured observation of core subject teachers, in-depth interviews with teachers and school management, and analysis of Lesson Implementation Plans (RPP/Lesson Plans). The results of the process analysis indicate that the implementation of Collaboration, Communication, and Innovation competencies falls into the Fairly Good category, supported by ICT integration and the commitment of the school management. Teachers consistently facilitate group assignments and utilize simple digital media. Furthermore, the integration of Islamic values in general subjects was also well-executed, aligning with the institution's vision. However, key findings identify a significant gap in Critical Thinking competency. The average proficiency of teachers in triggering Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions remains relatively low, indicating insufficient transfer from training to classroom practice. The main obstacle identified was the lack of duration and intensity of practical mentorship following training (clinical supervision). This study recommends the need for continuous professional development more focused on strengthening critical pedagogy, particularly in designing stimuli to enhance students' analytical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the management of the internationalization process of higher education in the form of self-governance, strategic plans (vision, mission, and objectives), institutional management, curriculum and learning processes, and quality assurance. The research applied a qualitative approach. The scope of the research is limited to the policy/ legal framework for managing the internationalization of higher education at three Islamic universities in Yogyakarta, comprising the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, the Islamic University of Indonesia, and the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The data collection was conducted through the techniques of; (1) participant observation, (2) in-depth interviews, and (3) document study. The data analyses used are (1) on-site data analysis and (2) cross-site data analysis. The results of the study showed that the process of self-governance towards higher education institutions with international competitiveness was divided into several stages, namely: determination of the vision, mission, and objectives; development of learning and curriculum which are equivalent to foreign universities; recruitment of foreign students and lecturers; and quality assurance that prioritizes technology, ISO standards, orientation changes, and overall quality assurance. The self-governance accommodates the rapid change and unpredictable education situation due to many factors such as technology, social changes, society health issue, and disruption advanced education in pandemic era. In the context of tertiary management, distinctive competences in the future need to be adapted to distinctive management courtesy. For example, the internalization of speech acts according to local culture is one of the characteristics that can improve the sustainability of higher education.
