Abstract

Pada anak usia dini, disleksia fonologis ditandai oleh hambatan dalam mengenali, membedakan, dan menghubungkan fonem dengan huruf, meskipun tidak terdapat gangguan pada kecerdasan, pendengaran, maupun kualitas pengajaran. Kondisi ini menjadi lebih kompleks pada anak dengan profil Twice Exceptional (2E), yaitu individu dengan potensi kecerdasan tinggi yang disertai hambatan belajar, karena kesulitan fonologis mereka kerap tidak teridentifikasi secara tepat pada tahap perkembangan awal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas pendekatan konseling perilaku berbasis kekuatan dalam mendukung perkembangan perilaku adaptif dan kesadaran fonologis pada anak usia dini dengan potensi 2E yang berisiko mengalami disleksia fonologis. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap satu subjek, yaitu seorang anak perempuan berusia 3 tahun di Sumedang, yang diidentifikasi memiliki kecenderungan tantrum intens, kesulitan dalam struktur bahasa ekspresif, serta hambatan dalam kesadaran fonologis. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan orang tua, dan konsultasi dengan Laboratorium Ortopedagogik di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) guna memperkuat identifikasi karakteristik disleksia fonologis. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui enam tahapan metodologis, yaitu: (1) asesmen awal perilaku dan fungsi fonologis, (2) analisis ABC (Antecedent–Behavior–Consequence), (3) pemberian penguatan positif dan diferensiasi stimulus, (4) shaping perilaku, (5) pelatihan regulasi diri, dan (6) pelibatan orang tua dan guru sebagai co-therapist. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan perilaku adaptif, keterlibatan akademik awal, dan kemampuan regulasi diri anak. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara rumah dan sekolah terbukti menjadi faktor pendukung penting dalam keberhasilan intervensi. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada analisis efektivitas pendekatan konseling perilaku berbasis kekuatan sebagai strategi pendukung anak usia dini dengan risiko disleksia fonologis dan potensi 2E.

Abstract

Mathematical problem solving ability is one of the essential competencies that elementary school students must possess. However, in practice, many students still experience difficulties in understanding and solving mathematical problems, especially contextual problems. The low level of this ability is influenced by the use of less innovative teaching methods and the suboptimal utilization of technology in learning. This study aims to analyze the use of digital learning media in improving elementary school students’ mathematical problem solving abilities. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach through the review of various journals, scientific articles, and relevant previous research findings. The research data were obtained from scientific sources traced through Google Scholar and other indexed journals, then analyzed using content analysis techniques through the stages of identification, classification, and synthesis of research findings. The results of the study indicate that various digital learning media, such as Scratch, Wordwall, GeoFun, CapCut, Genially, Smart Apps Creator (SAC), interactive games, and ethnomathematics-based media, are able to significantly improve students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. In addition to improving learning outcomes, digital media have also been proven to increase students’ motivation, engagement, and higher-order thinking skills. Therefore, digital learning media have great potential to support mathematics learning in elementary schools when designed interactively, contextually, and in accordance with students’ characteristics.

Abstract

Misconceptions about basic chemical concepts are still often found since science learning in elementary school because students have difficulty understanding abstract and submicroscopic concepts. This research aims to analyze the forms of misconceptions regarding chemical bonding material and their implications for science learning in elementary schools based on a literature review. The research uses a literature study method with data sources obtained from Google Scholar, SINTA, and Scopus. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques through the stages of organizing, synthesizing, identifying, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that many misconceptions are found in the concepts of valence electrons, electron configurations, ionic bonds, covalent bonds, Lewis structures and particle representation. Difficulty understanding abstract concepts causes students to tend to build understanding based on concrete experience and simple reasoning. This pattern of misconceptions is also found in science learning in elementary schools so that it can influence understanding of chemistry at the next level. Therefore, science and chemistry learning needs to be designed more conceptually and based on visualization to help students build scientific understanding gradually since elementary education.
