Abstract

Regular reading of the Qur'an is believed to have a positive impact on a person's life, including its potential influence on emotional intelligence. Such as increased patience and calm, increased empathy and caring, increased ability to manage emotions, improved social relationships. The influence of the habit of reading the Koran on emotional intelligence is very interesting to research. Therefore, this research will be carried out on UMPP lecturers and staff. This research will explain the influence of the habit of reading the Koran on the emotional intelligence of lecturers and staff at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, UMPP. This research method uses descriptive analysis, namely a type of data analysis used to show, display, describe and summarize a set of data. The aim is to identify trends and patterns in the data and to obtain in-depth data, data that contains meaning and can significantly influence the substance of the research. The data used includes the results of interviews regarding the effectiveness of the habit of reading the Koran on the emotional intelligence of lecturers and Tendik In this research the researcher used a descriptive research strategy. The research results show that reading the Koran regularly can have a positive impact on a person's emotional intelligence. The content of the Qur'an often teaches values such as patience, gratitude, forbearance, self-control and empathy. Meditating on verses from the Koran can help a person increase self-awareness, regulate emotions, and develop empathy towards others. Reading the Koran is not just reading, but also a process of contemplating its meaning and relating it to everyday life.

Abstract

Basic Arabic language guidance for foster children of the Muhammadiyah Kedungwuni Orphanage, Pekalongan Regency is an educational program that aims to provide basic understanding of Arabic to foster children living in the orphanage. This program is implemented with the aim of providing knowledge of Arabic to foster children so that they can understand and master the language effectively as a support for Arabic language subjects in schools. In its implementation, this basic Arabic language guidance is carried out systematically and structured, by paying attention to the level of understanding and ability of Arabic of each foster child. The teaching methods used in this program include active, interactive, and experience-based learning through the presentation of materials with guidance on interpreting, translating vocabulary and sentences, as well as providing guidance on understanding Arabic language rules, so that foster children can learn Arabic more easily and enjoyably. The evaluation results of the implementation of the basic Arabic language guidance program for foster children of the Muhammadiyah Kedungwuni Orphanage, Pekalongan Regency showed a significant increase in the understanding and mastery of Arabic by foster children. With this program, it is expected that foster children can develop their Arabic language skills independently and improve their academic potential and communication skills.

Abstract

In the world of Islamic banking, employees who have precision, order and discipline in work are needed. One of the supporting factors in the effectiveness of working is the habit of prayer by each individual, in various books it is explained that there are many benefits of prayer. In addition to having religious value, it turns out that prayer is also able to influence character and positive attitudes. Prayer is also able to improve work ethic if carried out correctly. By always performing prayers, it will affect a person's work ethic. Therefore, the author wants to research how the influence of prayer on the work ethic of BTM Wiradesa employees.  This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Then the data is analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study show that prayer is able to influence the work ethic of BTM Wiradesa employees, it turns out that in addition to having worship values, prayer is also able to foster positive attitudes at work such as increasing concentration, managing stress, increasing productivity, maintaining work spirit, being able to foster an attitude of cooperation, discipline, consistency and being able to foster the value of honesty.

Abstract

This research aims to develop students' potential through extracurricular activities in the art of Islamic calligraphy at Muhammadiyah Elementary School, Paesan Kedungwuni Special Program, Pekalongan Regency. The art of Islamic calligraphy was chosen as a potential development medium because it has high aesthetic value and is able to hone students' fine motor skills, creativity and spiritual understanding. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that Islamic calligraphy art extracurricular activities significantly contribute to improving students' artistic abilities, strengthening Islamic identity, and building student discipline, perseverance and achievement. Apart from that, this activity also encourages the creation of a conducive learning environment and motivates students to develop their talents and interests in the arts. There are several supporting factors that are key to the success of this activity, namely trainers who provide assistance and provide motivation; and PAI teachers as initiators of ideas, companions, and providing equipment and activity supplies. The inhibiting factors in carrying out this activity are understanding, mental courage of students, and delays in equipment and supplies making the activity less than optimal. This research suggests that schools continue to support and develop extracurricular Islamic calligraphy art programs as an integral part of a holistic educational process.
