Abstract

Penggunaan video pembelajaran tidak hanya dapat digunakan pada lembaga pendidikan formal saja, tetapi dapat juga digunakan di lembaga pendidikan non-formal salah satunya yaitu sanggar tari. Sanggar Paripurna adalah salah satu sanggar di Bali yang mendidik anak-anak usia dini dalam usaha mengembangkan dan melestarikan budaya Bali. Adapun Tari Bebek Putih Jambul yang diciptakan oleh Dr. Ni Made Ruastiti, SST. M.Si yang dibuat dengan tujuan pengembangan karakter melalui seni budaya bagi anak usia dini. Video pembelajaran ini dibuat dengan tujuan agar anak-anak usia dini dapat belajar Tari Bebek Putih Jambul secara mandiri dan belajar untuk melestarikan kebudayaan Bali sejak dini. Adapun metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan yaitu metode Studi Pustaka, metode Observasi, dan metode Kuesioner. Proses pembuatan video diawali dengan need assessment yaitu mengidentifikasi persoalan-persoalan terkait dengan pembelajaran tari Bebek Putih Jambul di Sanggar Paripurna. Selanjutnya tahap pengembangan, yaitu mengembangkan produk berupa materi tari Bebek Putih Jambul dilengkapi dengan video pembelajaran. Adapun produk yang dihasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran adalah video yang isinya menjelaskan tari Bebek Putih Jambul mencakup filosofi, ragam gerak dan struktur tari, pola lantai, tata rias dan busana, serta video pentas tari Bebek Putih Jambul yang dikemas dalam DVD. Setelah melewati beberapa ujian yaitu uji ahli media, uji ahli seni tari, uji dari guru sanggar, uji perorangan dan kelompok kecil hasilnya cukup memuaskan. Yang dimana mendapatkan nilai 100% dari hasil pengujian sehingga video pembelajaran Tari Bebek Putih Jambul layak untuk dipublikasikan. Artikel ini dibuat dengan tujuan mempersingkat bagian inti dari hasil penelitian skripsi pengembanga video pembelajaran Tari Bebek Putih Jambul.

Abstract

This paper discusses the epic Ramayana as a medium for teaching Indonesian culture and Indonesian language for the students of Darmasiswa RI / DRI (Darmasiswa of Republic of Indonesia). The epic Ramayana story contains adjective phrases as a media for teaching Indonesian culture which is full of the value of character education. This paper can be a reference for students and teachers who study and teach Indonesian culture and also Indonesian language for foreign speakers. Besides, it can also be beneficial for those who want to learn more about the structure of Indonesian language and character education of with the values of Indonesian culture in accordance with Ramayana text in which good character and personality become the main goal of national education in Indonesia. The research methodology statement is missing in this abstract. Considering that the Darmasiswa RI program is also part of education in Indonesia, the education of Indonesian character values cannot be separated from the education followed by Darmasiswa RI program participants. For this reason, there are two main points discussed in this paper, (1) the Ramayana text as a medium for teaching Indonesian culture and enhancing the mastery of Indonesian language and (2) the adjective phrase in the Ramayana text as a medium for the education of Indonesian character values. Theoretically and practically, this paper can contribute to the world of education both in terms of Indonesian culture and language and the noble values of Indonesian characters for foreign speakers, so that it can help in improving the success of national education, and also to improve the competitiveness of the nation.

Abstract

Music is an art form consisting of sounds arranged in certain patterns to produce compositions containing harmony, melody, and rhythm. Accompaniment music accompanies an activity or event, such as art performances, dances, dance dramas, films, ceremonial events, or daily activities. This paper aims to find aesthetic values in the musical accompaniment influences the dance drama The Blessing of Siva-Visvapujita and find out how the musical accompaniment influences the interpretation and delivery of the story in the dance drama The Blessing of Siva-Visvapujita. This research applies a qualitative descriptive method, which consists of three stages, namely (1) Data collection, (2) Data analysis, and (3) Presentation of analysis results. This research shows that the musical accompaniment to the dance drama The Blessing of Siva-Visvapujita contains aesthetic values with unique melodic beauty and harmony, as well as rhythm and dynamics that suit the storyline and character traits. Synchronization with the dance choreography creates a harmonious experience while expressing emotion and atmosphere through music enriches the aesthetic dimension. The use of MIDI technology brings innovation to the listening experience. Music also plays an important role in creating atmosphere, highlighting emotions and conflict, and strengthening the narrative in the performance as a whole.

Abstract

A discussion of figure of speech types and their meanings in the text Brahma Satisfies Lord Siva is presented in this paper. In addition to it, the Balinese cultural values, namely tri hita karana (three causes of happiness) conveyed by the figure of speech is presented as well. It will be useful not only for those who are engaged in text but also for puppeteers who love to use figure of speech in their performances. This topic needs to be researched because the text is a religious text which contains figure of speech with their cultural values. The meanings of the figure of speech cannot be separated from the theme of the text which is in line with the cultural values of the text.The data about the figure of speech is collected through library research and analyzed based on semantic theory and also on cultural elements since cultural elements are needed to reveal the cultural values of the text. In this study, the cultural elements are limited into 3 such as the custom and tradition, religion, and language. Theoretically, this paper will provide an insight of a religious text, specifically in relation with the cultural value contained in it. Practically, this paper can contribute to the world of education so that it will help people to grow their understanding of religious text and Balinese cultural values.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the figurative language used in the text Puranjana Becomes Woman in The Next Life. In addition, the cultural values conveyed by the figurative language will also be presented. It will be significant for those engaged in the figure of speech and those who love to use figurative language in their performances. This study needs to be researched because it is a religious text with the figurative language of their cultural values. The meanings of the figurative language must be distinct from the text's theme, which is in line with the cultural values of the text. The data about figurative languages are collected through library research and analyzed based on semantic theory and cultural elements since cultural elements are needed to reveal the cultural values of the text. In this study, the cultural elements are limited to custom and tradition. This paper will provide an understanding of a religious text, specifically in relation to cultural value. Besides, this paper can contribute to the education world and help people gain insight into cultural values from a religious text.
