Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) To find out the production cost of Acacia Crassicarpa nursery in Industrial Plantation Forest in Serapung Island; and (2) Analyzing the feasibility of breeding Acacia Crassicarpa in Industrial Plantation Forests in Serapung Island. The method used was survey method, the implementation of which is observation and interview. The tools and materials used in this study were stationery, cameras, calculators, voice recorders and Microsoft Excel software version 2016. This research was conducted at PT Sinar San Jaya company located in Serapung Island, Kuala Kampar District, Pelalawan Regency Riau. This research was conducted for 3 months from January to March 2017. In the procurement of raw materials, a fee was of IDR 651,242,000. The costs required, consisting of fixed costs and variable costs. Fixed costs consist of salaries of permanent workers, costs of fertilizers and chemicals, fuel costs, oil costs and procurement costs of nursery equipment totaling IDR 2,007,756,932, while for non-fixed costs, the salaries of non-permanent workers, the cost of fertilizers and chemicals, the cost of procuring nursery equipment with a total value of IDR 187,249,790. The total production cost is IDR 2,195,006,722. While the total income is IDR 3,965,371,640 from the production of seedlings totaling 4,088,012 stems at a price of IDR 970, - per stem, with a net profit of IDR 1,770,364,918. Break Event Point value (BEP) or break-even point (income equal to cost) is IDR 2,478,712,261, -. Whereas this business feasibility is shown by the Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) value of 1.40, which means that this business is feasible.

Abstract

Tanjung Belit Village and Lubuk Bigau Village, Kampar Kiri Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar District have a lot of tourism potential that can increase regional economy and income. This study utilized geographic information system technology (GIS) to map potential natural tourism areas because they are considered more effective and efficient. Geographic Information System is one of the development of information systems that combine information systems with geography, which is widely used to plan, analyze, and make decisions. The purpose of this study was to create inventory and map potential natural tourism objects. This study used survey method or direct visits to research objects. The data sources used are primary and secondary data obtained from observations and taking coordinates and tracks in the field, as well as a map of the earth's appearance in Kampar left upstream. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. The theoretical basis used is the tally sheet guideline for analysis of objects and natural tourist attractions of the Directorate General of PHKA 2003 and ArcGis 10.1 software. Based on the data analysis, the results of this study were in the form of information on 5 potential natural tourism objects, namely: (1) batang kapas waterfall of ± 150 m; (2) batang kapas waterfall of ± 50m; (3) batu dinding waterfall one; (4) batu dinding waterfall two and (5) air seluncur and potential maps containing information about potential natural tourism objects.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) merupakan hal yang penting dan mendasar dalam berbagai kegiatan termasuk kegiatan berwisata. Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) Sultan Syarif Hasim merupakan salah satu objek wisata yang cukup familiar bagi masyarakat di Pekanbaru. Pengelola Tahura belum pernah mendapatkan sosialisasi terkait K3 di Objek wisata sehingga untuk mengoptimalkan dan mendukung pengembangan objek wisata di Tahura Minas SSH sebagai ikon wisata maka perlu dilakukan peningkatan pelayanan dan manajemen dalam pengelolaan Tahura Minas SSH berupa sosialisasi keselamatan dan kesehatan bagi pengunjung yang dapat diimplementasikan oleh Pengelola Tahura Minas SSH. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan pengelola tentang K3 pada objek wisata, menjadikan manajemen K3 sebagai bahan untuk rencana pengembangan di Tahura Minas SSH, serta menumbuhkan safety culture kepada Pengelola Tahura. Pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi dilakukan dalam 3 (tiga) tahap yaitu Pra Sosialisasi, Sosialisasi K3, dan Pasca Sosialisasi. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini ada dua yakni data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil sosialisasi menunjukkan bahwa Sosialisasi K3 bagi Pengelola di Tahura Minas berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan pengelola tentang pentingnya K3 diimplementasi pada objek wisata. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan responden dari sebelum dan sesudah dilakukanya Sosialisasi K3. Rata-rata skor responden sebelum diberikan pelatihan 106,5 dan rata-rata skor responden setelah mengikuti sosialisasi K3 adalah 147,5 . Artinya terjadi peningkatan pada pegetahuan responden sebesar 27,77% dari sosialisasi yang diberikan, dengan rata-rata jumlah skor yang bertambah adalah 41.

Abstract

Topographic maps have several benefits, such as providing a basis for regional planning and identifying the vulnerability and hazards of an area. Therefore, making topographic maps is important for forestry students, especially using drone data. The purpose of the service is to increase the partners' knowledge about the use of drones for topographic mapping and basic knowledge about drone operation, and to improve the partners' skills by providing training in making topographic maps from data collected by drones. The activities carried out include providing materials on topographic map making and basic knowledge on drone operation. Furthermore, the practice of topographic map making and evaluation activities. There is an average increase of 25.52% in the partners' knowledge. The partners already have the skills to produce topographic maps. It's just that further training on map layout material is needed to maximize the topographic maps produced by partners.
