Abstract

Multilingual ability is one of the abilities that is really needed in the global era and industrial era 4.0. One of the most vital international languages ​​is English, because English can connect society with the world in various fields, including education. The method used in this research uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to find out the most appropriate method for designing Enterprise architecture in government agencies. This research results in the fact that students are quite familiar with mathematics vocabulary and mathematics learning in English, thus the "comprehension strategies" stage has been carried out quite well. However, it can be seen that P students use a type of word-for-word translation which results in the translation results being less smooth and the meaning less precise in the context of phrases, clauses and sentences. So it can be said that the "production strategies" stage is still not good.

Abstract

The importance of this research lies in its contribution to the development of education policies, the formulation of more effective teaching strategies, and the guidance for education practitioners. With a better understanding of the factors influencing learning success, this research is expected to be a valuable guide in improving the quality of education in Indonesia to meet global demands and prepare future generations optimally. Observational analysis research is a research approach in which the researcher directly observes certain phenomena or events to gain a deeper understanding. In this context, "observational analysis" refers to the process of analyzing data obtained through direct observation. This method is usually used to explore in-depth information about behavior, interaction, or specific situations in a natural environment. Observational analysis research is often adopted in the fields of psychology, sociology, anthropology, and education (Moleong, 2010). Based on the background description of research related to the analysis of aspects of learning success in Indonesia through observational studies, it can be concluded that education in Indonesia faces complex and diverse challenges. Some obstacles, such as regional disparities, varying teacher quality, access to technology, and the role of parents in education, provide a context that requires serious attention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi pedagogik guru bahasa Inggris di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Sumatera Utara. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, studi ini melibatkan dua guru bahasa Inggris sebagai partisipan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur yang mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya variasi dan kesamaan dalam kompetensi pedagogik yang diterapkan oleh kedua guru. Perbedaan terlihat dalam aspek perencanaan pembelajaran, pengelolaan kelas, metode pengajaran keterampilan berbicara, dan pengembangan materi ajar. Sementara itu, kesamaan ditemukan dalam penanganan perbedaan kemampuan siswa dan kesadaran akan pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Kedua guru menunjukkan fleksibilitas dalam pendekatan pengajaran, kesadaran akan kebutuhan individual siswa, dan komitmen terhadap penggunaan teknologi. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya variasi dalam pendekatan pedagogik untuk mengakomodasi berbagai gaya belajar dan kebutuhan siswa.
