Abstract

This study examines legal considerations and the application of law by judges in Decision No.107/Pid.B/2022/PN. Pin related to the case of falsifying payment documents as a means of embezzlement of customer funds. Using normative research methods, this study analyzes the verdict based on the statements of witnesses and defendants, evidence, indictments, and demands of the public prosecutor. The results of the study show that the criminal act is regulated in Article 374 of the Criminal Code Jo Article 64 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code. The defendant, Afri Anjas Situmeang, was found guilty of "Embezzlement committed by a person who controls the goods because there is a continuing employment relationship" and was sentenced to 1 year and 7 months in prison. This research provides insight into the application of the law in cases of embezzlement of customer funds and the judge's considerations in making decisions.

Abstract

This study discusses conflicts and harmonization of regulations on marine land rights in the context of the arrangement of coastal areas and small islands in Indonesia. The main problems identified are the overlap of authority between agencies and the unclear boundaries of jurisdiction, which have an impact on legal uncertainty, losses to coastal communities, and threats to environmental sustainability. The research uses normative methods with a legislative approach and literature analysis to identify the root of the problem and formulate a harmonization strategy. The results of the study show that policy integration, the formation of cross-ministerial teams, and the preparation of integrated norms, standards, procedures, and criteria (NSPK) are strategic steps to overcome regulatory conflicts and realize fair and sustainable coastal governance.

Abstract

Permasalahan limbah plastik di pedesaan membutuhkan solusi inovatif dan berkelanjutan karena sistem pengelolaan yang belum efektif masih menyebabkan penumpukan limbah, dengan dampak negatif bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan menganalisis aspek hukum dalam pemanfaatan bantuan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) untuk pengelolaan limbah plastik di Desa Ajjakkang. Tujuan khusus meliputi: (1) mengidentifikasi regulasi terkait BUMDes dan pengelolaan limbah plastik di tingkat nasional dan daerah; (2) mengevaluasi kesesuaian serta efektivitas pemanfaatan dana BUMDes bagi aktivitas pengelolaan limbah plastik; dan (3) memberikan rekomendasi hukum dan kebijakan untuk memperkuat dukungan terhadap program ini. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat dan pemangku kepentingan, pelatihan teknis daur ulang berbasis komunitas, serta pendampingan dalam pengelolaan dan pemasaran hasil daur ulang. Para pemangku kepentingan seperti pemerintah desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan pengelola BUMDes dilibatkan secara aktif guna memastikan keberlanjutan program. Diharapkan, analisis ini mendukung optimalisasi peran BUMDes dalam mengelola limbah plastik secara efisien, mendorong terbentuknya produk daur ulang bernilai ekonomis, serta meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa. Studi ini juga menawarkan gambaran strategi pemberdayaan BUMDes yang dapat direplikasi oleh desa lain sebagai solusi kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan menghadapi masalah limbah plastik.

Abstract

This article examines the preventive role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in addressing the rising incidence of juvenile crime in Indonesia, such as theft, violence, and drug abuse among school-aged adolescents. Using a qualitative library research approach, the study analyses literature on adolescent psychosocial development, Islamic education, and crime prevention to map how family dynamics, school climate, peer interaction, and digital media exposure shape youths’ susceptibility to norm-violating and unlawful behaviour. It conceptualises PAI as an educational domain that integrates cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions by linking Qur’anic and Prophetic teachings on justice, responsibility, and self-control with contemporary challenges faced by adolescents in a globalised, media-saturated environment. Particular attention is given to the pedagogical role of PAI teachers as moral exemplars, the design of contextual and project-based learning that engages legal and ethical issues, and the creation of religiously supportive school cultures in synergy with parents and religious leaders. Through this framework, the article formulates concrete strategies for embedding anti-violence and anti-crime values into PAI curricula and practices, thereby positioning Islamic education as a key component within broader, collaborative efforts to strengthen youth character and legal awareness
