Abstract

The benefits of today's developments in information and communication technology are felt by many public. Mobile phones are one product of this technology that has changed behavior human communication across time and space. People thousands of kilometers away can each other communicate while looking at each other and only by using media cell phone. students in the city of Palangka Raya have also done so feel the impact of using this cellphone in communicating with friends, relatives, or people even in other areas. By using descriptive methods the author tries to determine the impact of use of mobile phones among people in the village. The results of the research, among other things, show that the use of cellphones does have a positive impact towards village communities, especially in order to maintain communication relations with people, especially relatives or family who are far outside the area. But within capacity As a smartphone with various features it has as a source of information, it turns out that this is not yet the case It is widely known about its use by the public.

Abstract

A street clown is a beggar who earns money in a different way by wearing a clown costume to attract people's attention. The phenomenon of street clowns in Palangkaraya is partly due to the poor economy and the lack of jobs. Street clowning is not only about poverty but also about earning a living. Street clowns range from teenagers to the elderly. The existence of this street clown is an interesting point as a research because this is a social phenomenon that occurs in the midst of society. The problem formulated in this research is what factors influence the presence of street clowns in Palangkaraya city. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research method, by conducting observations and interviews. The research was conducted around Yos Sudarso street, Palangka Raya. Based on the analysis of all research data, the factors of the presence of street clowns are family economic factors. The economic factor in question is the responsibility of a person (street clown) in continuing the search for finances for the family, as a result of parents no longer being able to earn money to support life in the family.

Abstract

This article looks at the "Fear of Missing Out," or "FOMO," issue in the turbulent digital age. As societal norms change to emphasize reliance on digital devices and social media, FOMO is becoming a more commonplace issue in day-to-day living. This study explores the psychological effects of FOMO on mental health, looks into its underlying roots, and offers practical methods for dealing with and overcoming this fear. We show using an analytical method that FOMO can result in tension, worry, and feelings of inferiority. This diary contains ideas for increasing offline social connectedness, increasing self-awareness, and managing time wisely. Consequently, this study offers a comprehensive perspective on how people might more sensibly traverse the digital age while maintaining their psychological.

Abstract

The availability of resources has an impact on the level of education quality. From the research that has been conducted using the interview method to two private and public kindergartens in Palangka Raya with the subject of teachers and parents of students and librarian references, the results show that the availability of resources such as funds, facilities or facilities and teachers who are competent in their fields has an impact on the quality of education in schools. If these resources are well available, the quality of education in the school is also good. With cooperation through various parties such as parents and related agencies such as health can support the plan with the aim of advancing the quality of education to be even better. The involvement of various parties plays an important role in the plan because then the limited resources can be overcome so that the goal can be achieved.
