Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and analyze the impact of non-performing loans (NPLs) and the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) on the profitability of state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period from 2015 to 2024. This study uses secondary data obtained from the annual financial reports of these banks. In a purposive sampling process, four banks with a ten-year observation period and a total of forty observations were included. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results of the study show that the “non-performing loans” (NPL) variable is the most important factor influencing the return on assets (ROA), while the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) has a positive and significant effect on ROA. This study indicates that business management should optimize their financial ratios by maintaining credit quality and limiting the proportion of non-performing loans. To improve a bank’s profitability, credit risk management is crucial.

Abstract

This study purpose to examine and analyse the influence of ethical leadership and self-efficacy on police performance through perceived organizational support. A quantitative research approach with non-probability sampling was used. A total of 81 members of the Gowa Police Resort were surveyed using a questionnaire. The collected data were then analysed using Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square. The results showed that ethical leadership and self-efficacy do not have a direct effect on police performance. However, the results differed when mediated by the perceived organizational support variable, which had a significant effect on personnel performance. Meanwhile, the direct influence of the variables ethical leadership and self-efficacy on perceived organizational support is significant, as is the variable perceived organizational support on the performance of police members. The implications of this study indicate that improving performance needs to be directed towards strengthening organizational support through the provision of work facilities, clear guidance, attention to personnel needs, recognition of contributions, enhancement of internal communication, continuous development, and the creation of a conducive work environment that supports the optimal execution of tasks

Abstract

Sanrobone Village, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi, has significant potential in the creative economy and MSME sectors, including culinary, handicrafts, fashion, processed fisheries, and agricultural products. However, many business actors still face challenges in digital literacy, online marketing strategies, and E-Commerce utilization. This community service activity aimed to improve digital marketing knowledge and skills and E-Commerce management among creative industry actors and MSMEs in Sanrobone Village. The activity employed a one-day intensive training (8 hours) using an accelerated learning approach, consisting of 70% practical activities and 30% theory. Conducted on May 5, 2026, at the Sanrobone Village Hall, the training involved 19 participants from five business sectors. Evaluation used pre-tests and post-tests, skill observation rubrics, and satisfaction questionnaires. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 45.26 to 81.58 (N-Gain = 0.68), with a significant difference based on the paired sample t-test (t-count = 13.82 > t-table = 2.101; p = 0.000). Practical skills reached 84.2%, while participant satisfaction averaged 4.52 out of 5. Fourteen new online stores were registered, and all participants optimized their business social media accounts. Overall, the activity achieved five of six success indicators (83.3%), demonstrating its effectiveness in improving basic digital marketing competencies.
