Abstract

Lagu merupakan salah satu cara seseorang mengungkapkan perasaan mereka agar dapat tersampaikan kepada banyak orang. Salah jenis lagu yang banyak disukai orang yaitu jenis musik romantis, salah satu lagu yang lirik lagunya cukup romantis yaitu terdapat pada lagu “Penjaga Hati” karya Nadhif Basalamah dalam lagu tersebut dapat mengungkapkan perasaan seseorang yang sangat memuja kekasih hatinya dan rela melakukan apapun demi sang pujaan hati. Dalam penelitian ini penulis ingin menyajikan sebuah makna romantisme dalam lirik lagu “Penjaga Hati” karya Nadhif Basalamah, dengan menggunakan semiotika oleh Ferdinand De Saussure, penulis akan mencoba mengungkap makna-makna yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu tersebut. Kata-kata yang dipakai oleh sang penulis lagu sangat berisi banyak makna, selain itu lagu ini sangat dikenal oleh banyak anak mudah bahkan dari awal dirilisnya lagu ini. Oleh karena itu penulis memilih lagu ini sebagai objek penelitian agar kalimat-kalimat dapat diartikan melalui analisis semiotika Ferdinand De Saussure.

Abstract

The poem "Lautan Hijab" by Emha Ainun Najib is a literary work that describes spiritual richness and religious values ​​in the context of Indonesian culture. The aim of writing this article is to describe the educational ideology in the poem Lautan Jilbab by Emha Ainun Nadjib. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The object of this research is the poem Syair Lautan Jilbab by Emha Ainun Najib which will be studied using the theory of hermeneutical studies. The data used is in the form of stanza quotes from several poems contained in Syair Lautan Jilbab by Emha Ainun Najib which express religious values. The data collection technique steps used are in the following three ways: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, and (3) data presentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analytical methods which have the aim of creating a coherent, factual and actual description or picture regarding the facts, nature and relationships between the events studied. The results of the research show that the Poetry Lautan Jilbab by Emha Ainun Najib contains the relationship between religiosity between humans and God, religiosity between humans and humans and religiosity between humans and themselves. The relationship of religiosity that is often found in this poetry is the religious relationship between humans and God.

Abstract

Heartbreak songs serve as a poignant portrayal, resonating with the realities of everyday life or drawing from the personal experiences of the lyricists. In this regard, this research aimed to compare the conceptualization of heartbreak in the lyrics of songs composed by Gilga Sahid and Happy Asmara, focusing on differences in vocabulary choices, terms, similes, and language styles, conveying the meaning of heartbreak in their respective songs. The present study employed a qualitative descriptive design to investigate Javanese dangdut songs by Gilga Sahid and Happy Asmara. Data were collected from fragments of song lyrics that encapsulate the essence of heartbreak. Documentation, listening, and note-taking were utilized to scrutinize various sources, ensuring the credibility of the findings. The data analysis process incorporated descriptive analysis techniques, elucidating disparities in vocabulary choices and sentence structure patterns within the song lyrics. The findings highlighted distinctions between the two artists regarding their vocabulary choices and sentence structures. These dissimilarities contributed to the distinctive characteristics of their songs, involving symbolic elements to convey meaning and occasionally prompting code-switching events in the lyrics, given the Javanese dangdut genre under investigation. Including symbolic elements in the lyrics further enriched the depth of meaning within the songs. It is hoped that this research will have benefits in the fields of language and culture.
