Abstract

Listening skills for some teachers are more on listening skills, not on listening as a process and mechanics so that skills in technological sophistication are needed as interesting learning media. Technology can be used to help students develop listening skills through information technology, one of which is "Tik-Tok" with various available pages. Each type of technology provides opportunities for students to explore their listening strategies and in some cases develop new strategies. This study uses a descriptive method using a qualitative approach. In this case, the researcher is not directly involved in the object of study but only as an observer of the object of study contained in the contents of the "TikTok" account. The note-taking technique is carried out to record and select the elements that are listened to from social media or information technology "Tik-Tok" in Procedure Text learning then written into data paper. The purpose of the research is that with tiktok media students can observe, listen to technology, besides that listening is not only tangible in writing but with the digital era through tiktok video media students will understand in more detail listening with technology. Development of better listening skills and exploiting old technology or new technology in various ways in order to meet the needs of students in responding to changes and developments in listening learning technology. The conclusion is that listening with technology media provides new insights and new knowledge in listening skills, students are more enthusiastic to understand in depth than listening using technology, students can get to know better and become familiar with technology.

Abstract

Character education is the most important thing in human life to form character for students. The values ​​of character education can be taken through literary works, one of which is novels. This study aims to analyze the values ​​of character education in the novel Janshen by Risa Saraswati and their relevance in learning Indonesian in high school. The research used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The data collection technique in this study was using the note-taking technique. The results of this study are the values ​​of character education in the novel Janshen by Risa Saraswati. The values ​​of religious character education are shown in three aspects, namely, obedient to worship, gratitude, and prayer. In addition, there are also educational values ​​for tolerance, creativity, social care, curiosity, discipline, independence, and a love of reading. And it can be relevant as teaching material for Indonesian language education for class XI in accordance with basic competence (KD) 3.20 Analyze the message of the two fiction books (novels and collections of poetry) that are read. Because, the novel contains the values ​​of character education.

Abstract

Penggunaan kesantunan berbahasa yang benar akan timbul keharmonisan dalam pergaulan di lingkungan masyarakat. Komunikasi yang efektif dapat ditingkatkan dengan menekankan nilai sopan saat berkomunikasi. Di era modern ini, jika peserta tutur berada di tempat yang berbeda dan jauh maka mereka membutuhkan alat untuk menyampaikan suatu bahasa yaitu teknologi. Jenis media sosial yang saat ini popular di masyarakat adalah WhatsApp. Dalam pemahaman tingkat tutur sering dijumpai materi pragmatik hanya dari dialog komunikasi antar penutur dalam berbagai percakapan yang sifatnya khusus. Level biasanya digunakan oleh kenalan dan orang yang merasa memiliki grade atau status sosial yang lebih tinggi daripada orang lain. Berurusan dengan kesantunan berbahasa digunakan dalam Whatsapp untuk menyampaikan informasi. Jadi, tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menunjukkan kesopanan bahasa di WhatsApp. Pertama percakapan yang bersifat umum hingga khusus dapat didapatkan pada WhatsApp. Kedua, semua informasi yang kami terima berbeda. Ketiga, pengguna WhatsApp dengan latar belakang dan usia yang berbeda menyebabkan adanya bentuk kalimat dalam bahasa yang berbeda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa PGMI terhadap nilai dan pendidikan karakter yang muncul dalam novel KKN di Desa Penari Karya Simpleman. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah nonvel KKN di Desa Penari karya Simplemen tahun 2019. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif, yang terdiri atas tiga komponen analisis, yaitu: reduks data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini ialah, nilai dan pendidikan karakter berdasarkan resepsi mahasiswa PGMI terhadap novel KKN di Desa Penari berupa kebijaksanaan, keberanian, pengendalian diri, cinta, sikap positif, bekerja keras, dan syukur.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the composition of the advertisements presented in the promotion of skin care advertisements on TikTok. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data source from videos on TikTok that contain advertisements for skin care products. The data studied are in the form of words, phrases, and sentences in the data source. Data sources are video advertisements for skin care products from the Skintific, Bioaqua, Npure, and Hada Labo brands on TikTok in the issues from June to July 2022. Data collection techniques are carried out in three ways, namely documentation techniques, observation techniques, and note-taking techniques. Search techniques by downloading advertisements for skin care products from TikTok and taking screenshots of the display on the screen. Then, the next technique is the observing and note-taking technique, which is listening to the results of all video recordings and recording the information contained in the research results. Data analysis was performed using an interactive analysis model, in three steps: 1) data reduction; 2) present (display) data; 3) draw conclusions. Analysis of the composition of the ad is carried out by looking at the parts of the ad composition which are divided into three parts, namely the main point, ad body and closing. The results showed that 90% of the total ads used the main item, 95% of the total ads used the ad body, and found 70% of the total ads used the closing section.

Abstract

Very often differences occur in society, so there is no opportunity for women or men to change roles. Feminism is a movement for equality between men and women in the political, economic, educational, social fields, as well as organized activities that defend women's rights and interests. This research uses qualitative descriptive research. This research is important because of the swift social phenomena regarding gender equality in society, and as time goes on, there are still many discriminations against women and men, so education is needed so that people can equalize the rights of men and women.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh bahasa spontan yang mucul antara Merry Riana dan Andrey Taulany dalam tayangan podcas sebuah chanel youtube Merry Riana yang membahas tentang hasil dari sebuah kerja keras. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki tindak tutur ilokusi apakah yang sering digunakan serta tujuannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan analisis data deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah tuturan anatara Andre Taulanny dan Merry Riana dipodcast Merry Riana tentang hasil dari sebuah kerja keras. Data penelitian ini adalah wujud tindak tutur ilokusi yang dilakukan Merry Rian dan Andre Taulany. Ditemukakan beberapa pernyataan tindak tutur dan dirangkum dalam artikel ini ada 5 tindak tutur ilokusi yaitu tindak tutur asertif, tindak tutur direktif, tindak tutur deklaratif, tindak tutur komisif, tindak tutur ekspresif dengan rincian bentuk dan fungsinya. Dengan begitu dalam podcast Merry Riana dan Andrey Taulany terkail hasil dari sebuah kerja keras ini sudah mencakup keseluruhan jenis tindak tutur

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa perbandingan dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata serta makna gaya bahasa yang terkandung dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan objektif, data dari penelitian ini merupakatan kata atau frasa dari novel Guru Aini, sedangkan untuk sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik pustaka, teknik baca, teknik catat. Sedangkan untuk teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat 4 macam gaya bahasa perbandingan yang ditemukan dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata yaitu perumpamaan/simile, personifikasi, alegori, dan asosiasi; (2) jumlah masing-masing dari keempat macam gaya bahasa tersebut terdiri dari 8 gaya bahasa perumpamaan/simile, 8 gaya bahasa personifikasi, 12 gaya bahasa alegori, dan 11 gaya bahasa asosiasi. Jenis gaya bahasa yang paling dominan muncul yaitu gaya bahasa alegori dengan jumlah yang ditemukan 12 gaya bahasa alegori.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the romance in the song “Komang” by Raim Laode. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and love triangle theory to reveal romance in Raim Laode's Komang song. The source of the research data is the lyrics of the song Komang by Raim Laode. Data collection is done by listening to songs and reading song lyrics scripts, then taking notes and data grouped according to aspects of romance. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis models interactively. The results of this study show that Komang's song has aspects of romance, namely intimacy, passion, and commitment.

Abstract

Discussion  of various kinds of text structures plays an important role in utilizing argumentative texts. This study aims to improve students' understanding of argumentation texts. The formulation of the problem in this study is 1. What are the factors that make students less understanding of argumentation texts. 2. How to improve student understanding. Data sources in this study were voice recordings, note-taking and interviews. In this study, researchers use a qualitative approach method because it is based on reality and events that take place in the field, namely about how to improve the understanding of argumentation texts in vocational students through simplification of texts. The reason researchers use a qualitative approach is because researchers can focus attention on natural events that occur and are experienced by students. In addition, researchers also conduct their own observations, interviews, and reveal the data obtained in depth. This study used data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. In qualitative research, this is carried out in various ways, one of which is the researcher goes directly into the field. The results of this study were seen from  the research sample used 50% of the population from the calculation for class XI Broadcasting 1 SMKN 3 students of Bengkulu City which amounted to 28 students taken 50%, namely 14 students. So the sample in this study was class XI Broadcasting 1 students totaling 14 students. The structure of the argumentation text itself, namely the introduction, the body of the argument and the conclusion. Based on the results of the assessment of argumentation text comprehension through a strategy of simplifying the text structure of 14 students, 7 male students and 7 female students, the average is 87.35. There were 7 students who were in the very good category and 7 students who were in the good category. The source of the data obtained in this study is in the form of student values. Judging from the object to be obtained, this research is included in the type of descriptive research using qualitative methods. Descriptive research is research conducted to find out the value of one or more variables without making comparisons and linking with other variables.
