Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environment Sustainability) and Hotel Facility on Customer Satisfaction at Hotel Augusta Garut. This is motivated by the development of the Hospitality Tourism Industry in West Java, as well as the many bad reviews or negative reviews from guests who have stayed at Hotel Augusta Garut and give unfavorable ratings on hotel booking applications such as Agoda, Traveloka, and others. The data in this study were collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. The population in this study is tourist visits staying in Garut Regency seen from the total tourist visits from 2019 – 2023 as many as 345,363 visitors. The number of samples taken is based on calculations using the Taro Yamane formula with a total sample of 100 (onehundred) respondents. The results of distributing questionnaires were analyzed using multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, t-test and F-test. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive and significant influence between CHSE partially on Customer Satisfaction in Hotel Augusta Garut (2) there is a positive and significant influence between Hotel Facility partially on Customer Satisfaction at Hotel Augusta Garut (3) there is a positive and significant influence between CHSE and Hotel Facility simultaneously on Customer Satisfaction at Hotel Augusta Garut.

Abstract

Education and technology are two things that support each other in their development. One technology recently widely associated with education is ChatGPT. ChatGPT is a technology based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) that can respond like human language. ChatGPT has various capabilities such as in the fields of mathematics, statistics, writing and so on. This ability makes it widely used in learning matters. Various experts conveyed the positive and negative impacts of using ChatGPT in learning. Therefore, research needs to be carried out to determine students' introduction to ChatGPT and how they use it. This study was conducted on students from various study programs at a university. Data collection was carried out using non-probability sampling. The data collected was analyzed using a descriptive approach. Of the 204 students, 50.5% of students were aware of ChatGPT and 71.8% of them had used it. According to students, the presence of ChatGPT helps them understand the material and complete coursework. Even though they feel helped, students are also worried that they will become dependent on using ChatGPT which could then reduce their own thinking power, creativity and integrity. The positive and negative impacts of using ChatGPT in learning are clearly experienced by students. Training and socialization on the correct use of ChatGPT is also one of the needs of students who use ChatGPT in learning. Education providers need to take steps to mitigate and optimize the use of ChatGPT in learning.
