Abstract

Decentralization of education has become a main topic in efforts to improve the accessibility and quality of education in various parts of the world. This article discusses the concept of educational decentralization as a strategy to overcome the challenges of a centralized education system. Decentralization of education provides opportunities for equal distribution of education and empowerment of local communities in managing learning. This study discusses the decentralization of education, which was initially completely controlled by the central government. With the decentralization of education, regional governments have the authority to regulate and control education in their regions in an effort to improve the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study type. Data was collected from various journal articles and books in accordance with the research topic through content analysis. This type of research is qualitative research. The results of this study show that decentralization of education is actually implemented entirely by local governments, so that the impact can be felt by school residents in an effort to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and describe the types of educational policies and programs made by the government, especially regarding multicultural education policies and inclusive education. Multicultural education is implemented to develop all students' potential regardless of their religion. Multicultural education emphasizes the philosophy of cultural pluralism in the education system, based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, acceptance, understanding and moral commitment to social justice. Meanwhile, inclusive education accommodates all children with special needs who have a normal IQ, intended for those who have disabilities, special talents, special intelligence and/or who require special educational services. The foundation of inclusive education is the Law on the National Education System chapter IV article V concerning the rights and obligations of citizens. The method used in this research is a type or library approach (Library Research). The data collection technique used in this research is a document technique, namely searching for information about the topics discussed in the form of notes, books, publications or articles, magazines, etc.

Abstract

SD Negeri 13 Salak di Kota Sawahlunto adalah sekolah multikultural dengan keberagaman agama, budaya, dan adat istiadat. Sekolah ini berhasil melaksanakan moderasi beragama, menjadikannya pilihan bagi orang tua non-Muslim untuk menyekolahkan anak-anak mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan moderasi beragama di SD Negeri 13 Salak melalui komitmen kebangsaan, tindakan anti-kekerasan, toleransi beragama, dan penerimaan terhadap tradisi/budaya. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Informan terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan dua siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan teknik triangulasi untuk validasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Komitmen kebangsaan dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan seperti upacara bendera, gotong royong dua kali sebulan, dan karnaval pada perayaan HUT RI; (2) Tindakan anti-kekerasan dilakukan melalui penerapan tata tertib, pembentukan tim TPPK, pemasangan poster tentang kekerasan atau bullying, serta koordinasi yang baik antara sekolah, guru, komite, dan orang tua; (3) Toleransi beragama dijalankan tanpa paksaan pada siswa yang berbeda agama; (4) Penerimaan terhadap tradisi dan budaya lokal juga diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sekolah. Penelitian ini menyoroti bagaimana SD Negeri 13 Salak telah berhasil menerapkan moderasi beragama dalam lingkungan yang beragam secara efektif.

Abstract

Evaluation is the act of assessing whether an educational program has achieved its goals, is effective, or has value. One evaluation tool used is the National Final Examination (Ujian Akhir Nasional or UAN), which has become a topic of debate. It should only be used for policy purposes, not for determining students' graduation, and is contradictory to education laws. The type of research used in this article is library research, referring to research that relies on existing references and literature. The article details issues in the education system, particularly concerning the National Final Examination, and the impact of new policies related to UAN in 2017. The National Examination has become a crucial element in Indonesia's education system with a unique history and development. Educational evaluation in the form of the National Examination helps measure progress and the quality of education nationally, with the goal of improving educational quality and meeting government-set standards..

Abstract

As time goes by, the education system in Indonesia dynamically follows the times. This development can be seen from changes in the current learning curriculum. Education plays an important role in determining the future of a nation. The Indonesian education system that applies nationally functions to develop students' abilities. In this case, the education system acts as a means to improve students' intellectual, physical and emotional abilities so that they are able to contribute to nation building. National education is education based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia which is rooted in religious values, Indonesian national culture and responsive to the demands of changing times. Indonesia has its own national education system which implements 12 years of compulsory education, namely nine years of basic education which includes six years in elementary school and three years each in middle school and high school
