Abstract

Invasi yang dilakukan Rusia ke Ukraina memberikan dampak yang kursial terhadap perekonomian negara belahan dunia yaitu Eropa bahkan sampai ke Asia Tenggara, termasuk Indonesia. Hal ini mempengaruhi depresiasi/nilai tukar rupiah yang tidak stabil di pasar domestik dan pasar valuta asing global dari sisi politik dan ekonomi. Permasalahan invasi Rusia ke Ukraina memicu efek pada Indonesia dari volatilitas nilai tukar rupiah dengan adanya fall off dari mata uang utama dunia yang mendekati level Rp 15.000 per USD. Maka dari itu penelitian ini mengulas secara komprehensif faktor penyebabnya fall off valas dari data historis dan tren saat ini yang menjadi sentimen pasar global dalam menghadapi valas di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang didukung dengan studi literatur sesuai dengan faktor fall off yang terjadi di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fall off dari nilai rupiah Rp 14.383 hal ini merupakan faktor dari perang antara Rusia dan Ukraina yang mendorong inflasi dari harga komoditas yang dihasilkan baik apresiasi rupiah jangka pendek, subsidi bahan bakar, dan harga minyak pada CPI domestik.

Abstract

The consumerist lifestyle that students tend to follow can influence their interest in saving. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between a consumerist lifestyle and the interest in saving among Economics Education students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University. The research method used was quantitative with a causal associative approach. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. The study sample consisted of 156 students using random sampling. Data analysis techniques used were prerequisite test analysis with normality and linearity tests, and hypothesis testing with simple linear regression. The results of the normality test analysis indicate that the consumerist lifestyle and interest in saving variables are normally distributed. The results of the linearity test indicate that the data have a linear pattern. The results of the hypothesis test analysis prove that there is an influence between a consumerist lifestyle and interest in saving among Economics Education students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University, with an effect of 2.49%. This study is expected to encourage students to improve their economic literacy and financial awareness to avoid a consumerist lifestyle.
