<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the implementation of transformational leadership by the principal in optimizing the Al-Qur’an literacy program at MTsS Ar-Raihan Lattekko, Awangpone District, Bone Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research informants consisted of the principal, teachers, educational staff, and students who were directly involved in the Al-Qur’an literacy program. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the implementation of transformational leadership had been carried out effectively through the application of the dimensions of idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. The principal was able to serve as a role model, provide motivation, encourage innovative learning, and pay attention to the needs of teachers and students in implementing the Al-Qur’an literacy program. The program was implemented through structured stages of planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation, which positively impacted students’ ability to read the Al-Qur’an and fostered a religious culture within the madrasa environment. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development of Islamic educational leadership and the optimization of Al-Qur’an literacy programs in madrasahs.]]>
