Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), focusing on prevailing trends, methodological patterns, research gaps, and future directions over the past five years. Using a qualitative approach, the research analyzes peer-reviewed academic publications and organizational documents, particularly within the Indonesian context. The review reveals that while ERM is increasingly recognized as a strategic necessity in managing multidimensional risks, its implementation remains fragmented and often symbolic rather than substantive. Key findings highlight limited theoretical integration, a lack of longitudinal studies, and minimal exploration in developing economies. Observational data further demonstrate that ERM in Indonesian organizations is often compliance-driven and disconnected from strategic decision-making. Document analysis also reveals a gap between formal policies and practical execution, underscoring the need for improved institutional support, risk literacy, and leadership commitment. This study concludes that a paradigm shift toward value-driven, technology-enabled, and sustainability-oriented ERM is essential. The review provides a conceptual foundation for harmonizing theory and practice and offers actionable insights for future research and policy.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital payment applications has transformed financial transactions, particularly among university students who are highly engaged in digital ecosystems. Understanding the factors that drive adoption and shape perceptions of service quality is essential for both theory and practice. This study aimed to evaluate the adoption of digital payment applications by integrating the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to explain their combined effects on perceived service quality. A quantitative research design was applied using a cross-sectional survey distributed to 250 students in East Java who had experience using digital payment applications. The instrument employed a structured questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale, and data were analyzed using multiple regression techniques. The results revealed that perceived usefulness and attitude were the strongest predictors of perceived service quality, while perceived ease of use, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control also contributed significantly, albeit with weaker effects. The integrated TAM–TPB model explained 57% of the variance in service quality, demonstrating a stronger explanatory power than either model alone. These findings suggest that both functional and psychosocial factors are critical in evaluating digital payment services. The study contributes theoretically by extending adoption models to the domain of service quality and provides practical insights for developers and policymakers to improve digital financial services for students.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores the evolution of Islamic economic thought in Indonesia, from traditional practices to modernized systems. The scope includes tracing significant transformations in Islamic economics and its adoption in the financial and social sectors. The purpose of the study is to analyze how traditional Islamic economic principles have adapted to contemporary economic demands. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research employs library research to gather insights from academic works and historical documents. The findings reveal three major phases in the development of Islamic economic thought in Indonesia: the traditional phase, the modern phase marked by the establishment of Islamic financial institutions, and the contemporary phase, where Islamic finance has become more integrated into the national economy. The study concludes that, despite modernization, Islamic economics in Indonesia remains grounded in core principles of social justice, economic freedom, and responsibility. This evolution underscores the potential of Islamic economics to offer sustainable economic solutions aligned with both religious values and modern needs.
