Abstract

This research was motivated by students' lack of interest in reading and awareness of the importance of literacy and literacy only because it was requested or ordered by the teacher. The aims of this research were 1) to find out the role of Civics teachers in cultivating the literacy movement in students of SMP Negeri 2 Kota Ternate, 2) knowing the factors that support and hinder the school literacy movement in students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the case study method and the subjects of the research are the principal, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Class VIII PPKn Teachers and Grade VIII students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/verification. The results of this study indicate that (1) PPKn teachers always give firm encouragement to students to be literate, asking students to read and make summaries by carrying out literacy 15 habits in class for each subject (guided literacy), asking students to read first at home before going to school (cultural literacy), Encourage students to take advantage of their free time so that they are always in class to read ( literacy continuity ), as well as in reading areas that have been provided by the school. (2) There are supporting and inhibiting factors for the School Literacy Movement for students of SMP Negeri 2 Kota Ternate, the supporting factors are that the facilities for literacy are available, the implementation of literacy has been carried out by the teacher through habituation of reading and writing literacy to students, there are books in every reading corner in the classroom and in the library. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack of motivation of students to be literate and only literate when instructed by the teacher, and there is one area of literacy that is rarely used.Keywords: PPKn Teachers, GLS Culture, Students

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring (online learning) merupakan model pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara online atau melalui jaringan internet. Metode ini telah semakin populer dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, terutama karena perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dan juga di masa pandemik COVID-19. Universitas Khairun sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi yang menyelenggarakan program pendidikan profesi guru dengan visi mewujudkan guru yang profesional, unggul bermartabat dan berdaya saing. Berbagai upaya perlu dilakukan diantaranya yaitu dengan meningkatkan ketersediaan layanan pendidikan, meningkatkan keterjangkauan layanan pendidikan, meningkatkan kualitas/mutu dan relevansi layanan pendidikan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dengan mahasiswa PPG dalam jabatan sebelumnya, masih terdapat beberapa guru yang belum memiliki kompetensi profesionalisme salah satu indikatornya adalah mengembangkan materi pembelajaran yang dimampu secara kreatif dan memanfaatkan TIK untuk berkomunikasi dan mengembangkan diri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan virtual learning management system dalam pembelajaran daring mahasiwa PPG di lingkup Universitas Khairun. Diharapkan melalui penelitian ini akan memberikan dampak pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang nanti dapat diimplementasikan di sekolah

Abstract

Digitalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi di era disrupsi merubah kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia. Namun dampak dari pemanfaatan teknologi digital dapat merusak mental bangsa karena penggunaan smartphone yang tidak dapat dikendalikan. Berbagai hal negative terjadi seperti perbuatan asusila, ujaran kebencian, dan peredaran narkoba di Internet. Situasi ini menimbulkan masalah dalam masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian berupa kegiatan bertema ``Pemantapan Nilai-Nilai Pancasila di Masa Disrupsi'' dapat menanamkan Pancasila di kalangan masyarakat. Kegiatan dialog ini dilakukan dengan metode diskusi terdiri dari tiga tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pemantauan dan evaluasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Teknologi digital dapat mengembangkan kewarganegaraan yang aktif. 2) Pancasila sebagai pandangan hidup berbangsa untuk menghilangkan dampak negatif dari teknologi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and function of the Regional Regulation Formation Agency (Bapemperda) of the Taliabu Island Regency DPRD in the process of forming regional regulations (Perda). The birth of Bapemperda as a fitting tool for the DPRD is a mandate of Law Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Formation of Laws and Regulations, which emphasizes the importance of the quality of regional legal products to be in harmony with the needs of the community and regional development. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the Bapemperda DPRD of Taliabu Island Regency plays an important role in the preparation of the Regional Regulation Formation Program (Propemperda), the discussion of the draft Regional Regulation, and providing legal considerations to the proposed regional regulations from the executive and legislative initiatives. However, in practice, the role of Bapemperda still faces various obstacles, such as limited human resources who understand legislative techniques, lack of public participation in the preparation of regional regulations, and suboptimal coordination between the DPRD and local governments. In conclusion, the Bapemperda of the Taliabu Island Regency DPRD has carried out the function of legislation according to its authority, but its effectiveness still needs to be improved through strengthening the capacity of members, increasing synergy between institutions, and encouraging community involvement in every stage of the formation of regional regulations so that the resulting regional regulations are truly aspirational, implementive, and effective for regional development
