Abstract

Kontribusi Esensi dan Estetika User Interface terhadap User Experience dalam Virtual Exhibition: Systematic Literature Review. Desain user interface (UI) merupakan elemen yang sangat esensial untuk menunjang kualitas user experience (UX) agar dapat memunculkan sensasi pameran sungguhan (on-site). Systematic literature review (SLR) bertujuan membangun basis bukti yang andal sebagai dasar rekomendasi kepada desainer Virtual Exhibition (VE) guna membangun VE yang mendekati suasana pameran sebenarnya. SLR ini mereview 30 penelitian tentang virtual reality dan virtual exhibition yang dipublikasikan dalam periode 2018-2022. Jumlah tersebut diperoleh dari 374 penelitian dari database terkemuka (ScienceDirect), yang kemudian dinilai bobot kualitasnya dari tiga aspek (kelayakan metodologis, parameter exposure VE, dan relevansinya dengan pertanyaan penelitian). Temuan dari 30 penelitian tersebut diekstrak secara tabulatif dan disajikan secara tematik. Berdasarkan sintesis atas temuan-temuan yang disorot dalam berbagai literatur, SLR ini merekomendasikan desainer VE untuk memperhatikan esensi, estetika, dan UX dalam membangun VE yang berkesan dan bermakna dalam bentuk tayangan audio-visual.

Abstract

Kaliori Village, located in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, is renowned for its rich arts and culture. Despite its cultural prominence, certain local potentials, such as the Serayu River, remain underdeveloped as tourism assets. This study aims to design a mascot as a branding strategy to enhance the Serayu River's image and promote it as a tourist destination. The method used included consultation, field observation, and collaborative design processes involving local communities and stakeholders. Results show that the "Bebek Bawor" mascot effectively embodies the cultural identity of Banyumas and contributes to increased brand awareness through its application in promotional materials and strategic placements. The conclusion highlights the significance of integrating cultural representation with modern branding techniques to develop sustainable tourism while fostering community participation.

Abstract

This study proposes an in-depth analysis approach to the visual resemblance of human facial characters within the context of designing 3D facial characters titled "Sibling Reflection." The analysis method employed involves a visual comparison approach, identifying and analyzing anatomical features and expressions of human facial characters. Principles of facial proportions, eye shapes, noses, mouths, and other anatomical details are explored to establish a reference foundation for the design of 3D facial characters. Guided by the data from the analysis of human facial characters, the subsequent step involves the design of the 3D facial character " Cerminan Bersaudara " using Blender software, with the goal of achieving a high level of visual resemblance. This design process encompasses iterative iterations, in-depth evaluations, and adjustments by design experts and animators. Through the proposed approach, this research aims to generate a 3D facial character design that approaches the level of visual resemblance achieved by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The successful achievement of the expected visual resemblance in the design of the 3D facial character " Cerminan Bersaudara " is expected to have a positive impact on the audience's experience, particularly in the consumption of 3D character-based entertainment content

Abstract

This study explores the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the digital branding of local organic artisans through the Design Thinking framework. The research is motivated by the persistent challenges faced by artisans in producing high-quality visual content, such as suboptimal lighting, simple composition, and limited variation, which hinder audience reach and digital appeal. By applying the Design Thinking stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test, this study collaborated with Biorama and three artisan partners to design and evaluate AI-based solutions, namely Gemini Veo 3 for promotional videos and ChatGPT for product photo enhancement. Testing conducted via the Instagram account @biorama___ in July 2025 revealed measurable improvements. Engagement rates ranged from 11.9% to 13.1%, with average likes between 41–59, comments 5–9, and reach between 499–651 per post. These findings confirm that AI interventions can deliver more appealing, realistic, and brand-aligned visual content for local artisans. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of prompt engineering into community-based digital branding practices, framed within the concept of creative placemaking. The study contributes theoretically to AI-driven branding strategies and offers practical guidance for artisans to strengthen their digital competitiveness.
