Abstract

This research aims to increase student creativity and learning achievement by implementing a project-based learning model through Artificial Intelligence (AI). This research is Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 22 first semester students of FKIP, HKBP Nommensen Pematang Siantar University. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, document studies, questionnaires and tests. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In Cycle I, the percentage of student creativity reached 45.45% and increased to 86.26% in Cycle II. The percentage of completion of the student knowledge learning aspect in Cycle I was 59.09% and increased to 90.90% in Cycle II. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of a project-based learning model through Artificial Intelligence (AI) can increase student creativity and learning achievement in the Basic Chemistry course for FKIP students at HKBP Nommensen University.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) ada tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan anatar pemahaman konsep kimia pada pendekatan chemo-entrepreneurship melalui metode inkuiri bebas; (2) ada tidaknya pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman konsep kimia yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan chemo-entrepreneurship melalui metode inkuiri bebas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu atau quasi eksperimen, Instrumen penelitian ini menggunkan tes tertulis dengan bentuk tes essay sebanyak 10 soal. Teknik analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil tes kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan adalah uji-t pihak kanan dengan α = 0,05 dan dk= n-1. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pendekatan chemo-entrepreneurship melalui metode inkuiri bebas dapat mengingkatkan pemahaman konsep kimia mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis kedua maka dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman konsep kimia yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan chemo-entrepreneurship melalui metode inkuiri bebas. Kesimpulannya adalah terdapat pemahaman konsep kimia menggunkan pendekatan chemo-entrepreneurship melalui metode inkuiri bebas dari pada pembelajaran konvesional.

Abstract

The Green Education model emphasizes contextual learning with real-world environmental issues, encourages collaboration, and encourages students to think critically in solving environmental problems such as pollution, waste, and energy use. This study aims to determine the conceptual and procedural feasibility according to material and media experts, teacher assessments, and student responses to the interactive learning website developed using the Green Education model for green chemistry. This research is a developmental study using the Lee & Owens model. Data collection methods used questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques used were qualitative data analysis based on comments and suggestions, and quantitative data analysis based on average response scores and percentages. The results of this study demonstrated feasibility based on a Likert scale, with a score of 4.5 (very feasible) from material experts, 4.57 (very feasible) from media experts, 4.5 (very feasible) from teachers, and 87.07% (very feasible) from student responses. Based on the development and research results, it can be concluded that the interactive learning website using the Green Education model for green chemistry is conceptually and procedurally feasible as a teaching medium for chemistry learning.
