Abstract

Pada saat ini pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan secara luar jaringan (luring) dan dalam jaringan (daring). Pada pembelajaran luring atau tatap muka pelaksanaan kegiatan dibatasi secara fisik dan tetap menjaga jarak. Hal ini sulit untuk Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK), mengingat mereka harus bergerak bebas dan aktif serta harus mendukung bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi dalam bentuk perangkat deteksi gerak secara Tiga Dimensi (3D) yaitu sensor Kinect Xbox 360 dengan konsep Touchless yang didukung perangkat video game berupa Microsoft Xbox 360. Kegiatan dimulai dengan pengenalan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dan dampak positif terhadap Anak Kebutuhan Khusus. Selanjutnya dilakukan simulasi instalasi perangkat Kinect serta konfigurasi untuk mengukur presisi dan akurasi dalam menangkap gerakan sensor dari entitas pengguna perangkat. Setelah itu permainan akan dipilih berdasarkan usia dari rating game. Permainan game edukasi dengan Kinect dilakukan oleh siswa ABK dengan orang tua atau guru / tim pendamping dari UPTD. LDPI. Pembelajaran untuk Anak Kebutuhan Khusus harus menarik, mudah diterima dan menyenangkan melalui game edukasi memanfaatkan teknologi kinect Xbox 360. Pengabdian dilakukan di UPTD Layanan Disabilitas dan Pendidikan Inklusif Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Game ini mudah dimainkan oleh ABK kategori ringan, game ini sangat menarik dan bisa digunakan untuk melatih motorik anak serta dapat digunakan guru sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran.

Abstract

The author conducts research on dirty adapters and dirty connectors in fiber optic transmission to determine the value or attenuation that will be produced due to the influence of dirty adapters and dirty connectors. This study was conducted to evaluate the attenuation value due to dirty adapters and dirty connectors in fiber optic transmission before and after the use of Passive Splitter 1: 16. The method used includes the initial step of calibration between the Optical Power Meter (OPM) and Handheld Light Source (HLS). The HLS was connected to the first Optical Distribution Point (ODP) with a patch cord cable to provide attenuation, and data was taken at the second ODP using the OPM. The power data received on the unproblematic core (gray) without the 1:16 Passive Splitter was 0.65 dB, while with the 1:16 Passive Splitter the attenuation increased to 13.71 dB. The red dirty adapter causes 5.99 dB of attenuation without the Passive Splitter 1:16 and 19.21 dB with the Passive Splitter 1:16. The brown dirty connector exhibits an attenuation of 4.68 dB without the Passive Splitter 1:16 and 19.08 dB with the Passive Splitter 1:16. These findings suggest that the physical condition and cleanliness of the components significantly impact the attenuation in the fiber optic network.

Abstract

The Family Welfare Movement (PKK) of Padang Utara District aims to improve the quality of family life through education, health, and economic development. However, PKK Padang Utara faces challenges in empowering its members, particularly in product promotion in the digital era. The main obstacles are limited digital skills and marketing knowledge. To address these issues, the Community Service (PKM) team from Politeknik Negeri Padang (PNP) provided training in handmade accessories skills and digital marketing using the Canva application. The training methods included lectures, discussions, and practical guidance. The program showed significant skill improvement: 80% of participants experienced increased competency in using Canva for marketing design. In comparison, 100% of participants successfully mastered making handmade accessories. Evaluation of the teaching methods showed the highest satisfaction with practical guidance (100%), followed by discussions (80%) and lectures (50%). This program successfully enhanced individual skills and positively contributed to family economies, enabling PKK Padang Utara to become more independent in facing digital marketing challenges.
