Abstract

This research aims to determine the trend related to drinking water distribution in coastal areas using VOSViewer software  Bibliometric analysis is a statistical method that could quantitatively analyze a research paper focusing on one topic mathematically. This research was analyzed using bibliometric analysis focusing on drinking water distribution in coastal areas. This research uses the bibliometric analysis method to examine a keyword. This method is often used to explore and analyze much scientific data. The Crossref database was used to retrieve approximately 1000 research with interrelated topics. Retrieved data is helped by using Publish or Perish and saving in RIS (Research Information System) extension. VOSViewer is also used to help process data into visualization. Drinking Water Distribution System has become the most dense keyword shown by VOSViewer. The publication is mostly in journal articles, totaling 549 out of 1000. Research on drinking water distribution systems in coastal area-related topics is continuously increasing by number year by year. With time stamps between 2000-2023, the highest peak was in 2023, with 75 publications in a year.

Abstract

Road geometric design is a way of planning a road geometrically or involves calculating angles through the process. Regarding the geometric design of roads, it is important to assess the conformity of the design criteria with the applicable guidelines, namely the Road Geometric Design Guidelines. In this paper, an eval_uation of the geometric design of existing roads, namely Jalan Raya Tarikolot, Majalengka, and adjustments to the Road Geometric Design Guidelines is carried out. The research method used is an eval_uation research method for the research object, namely Jalan Raya Tarikolot, Majalengka. The results obtained show that Jalan Raya Tarikolot, Majalengka is a road with a flat terrain type. Alignment P2 is the FC alignment type, while the other seven alignments are S-C-S alignment types. Through the eval_uation carried out, the results showed that the horizontal adjustment of the Tarikolot Highway, Majalengka met the criteria, so it did not require design improvements.

Abstract

Within structural engineering, bridges demonstrate how the practical import of scientific hypotheses becomes clear to humanity. Engineers use computer simulations and models to anticipate how the bridge will react under various stresses and what its response is likely given all sorts of environments over its life span. The construction of the Nongsa Pura Bridge in Batam, which showcases cutting-edge civil engineering accomplishments customized to local requirements, represents a critical turning point in the region's infrastructure improvement. This paper aims to analyze the deflection of a Nongsa Pura Planning Simulation using SAP2000 software. This research uses secondary data and the author's assumptions as necessary data to design a bridge. The results of this research are deflection values for the main girder, transverse girder, and longitudinal girder. In the main girder, the most considerable deflection value is 0,0778724 m. In contrast, in the transverse girder, the most considerable deflection value is 0,034118 m, and the longitudinal beam has the most considerable deflection value of 0,077809 m.

Abstract

This paper presents a detailed approach to bridge planning and modeling using Building Information Modeling (BIM), focusing on steel frame structures. The implementation of Autodesk Revit Version 2024.1 significantly enhances the precision and efficiency of the planning and modeling process. The methodology involves gathering detailed data references, creating 2D drawings, and developing a comprehensive 3D model for structural analysis and construction design. In the bridge modeling phase, the trusses are constructed using advanced BIM tools, ensuring the structural elements are aligned accurately with the reference framework. This approach facilitates better stakeholder collaboration, improved communication, and more effective resource management. Using BIM technologies and precise data representation in the simulation contributes to better design outcomes, higher accuracy, and improved safety and compliance verification in bridge construction projects. The results demonstrate that integrating BIM in steel frame bridge planning leads to enhanced project efficiency, reduced construction errors, and optimized material use, ultimately supporting long-term sustainability in infrastructure development.
