Abstract

This research examines the synergy between collaborative governance and the penta helix approach in community-based waste management through the Pesan Pede Program in Celuk Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. Waste management remains a complex public issue, often constrained by top-down approaches that fail to fully engage communities. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that collaborative governance operates effectively through continuous dialogue, trust-building, shared commitment, and mutual understanding among stakeholders. The penta helix framework demonstrates that the community acts as the core actor, while the government serves as a facilitator, academics contribute knowledge, the private sector supports economic activities, and the media enhances public awareness and legitimacy. The integration of these two approaches produces a sustainable, community-driven waste management system rooted in local socio-cultural values. The study highlights that effective waste management is not solely determined by formal policies or technological solutions, but by the ability to integrate collaborative processes with local cultural dynamics. This research proposes an embedded collaborative governance model based on a community-driven penta helix, offering both theoretical and practical contributions to public administration studies.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the current era is also utilized in creating environmentally friendly products, amidst the industrial world that is beginning to have social and environmental impacts, which can influence lifestyle and societal behavior, influenced by factors such as economic ability, awareness, and the abundance of goods proportional to the increasing needs of individuals, where appearance is a very important factor to be considered to enhance beauty. With increasingly fierce competition, the Somethinc brand creates quality and environmentally friendly beauty products while still considering the impact on the environment in the future. To address this challenge, this study aims to investigate the factors influencing the purchase intention of Somethinc products. Research data were obtained through an online survey involving 200 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 analysis tool. The results show that Product Innovation does not affect purchase intention, while green marketing and brand awareness influence purchase intention. Brand image mediates the influence of product innovation, green marketing, and brand awareness on purchase intention for Somethinc products among Generation Z in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital banking is accompanied by an increasing focus on sustainability and customer-driven innovation. Green marketing communications and customer experience are considered important in influencing perceptions and adoption, yet their relationship remains largely unexplored. This study aims to investigate the contribution of sustainable marketing communications and customer experience to digital banking adoption. The method used was a systematic literature review with a qualitative approach. Data were collected from peer-reviewed articles in Scopus between 2020 and 2025 through a keyword strategy and multi-stage filtering, resulting in 10 relevant articles. Analysis was conducted through a thematic synthesis and bibliometric mapping approach. The results show that green communications increase trust and ethical perceptions, while customer experience strengthens satisfaction, usability, and loyalty. Both interact to create a synergistic effect in accelerating adoption. Consequently, integrating sustainable communications with optimal customer experience is key to digital banking strategies in the sustainability era. Future research should expand the scope of bibliometric indicators and incorporate a longitudinal perspective to capture the evolving dynamics of adoption.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is a critical indicator of public healthcare performance, particularly in primary healthcare facilities where patients directly experience governance practices through service procedures, communication, waiting time, and complaint handling. This study examines how good governance influences patient satisfaction through service quality in Indonesian primary healthcare. The study was conducted at Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan using a quantitative explanatory design. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 370 patients selected using proportional random sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that good governance has a positive and significant effect on service quality (β = 0.785, t = 26.484, p < 0.001) and patient satisfaction (β = 0.174, t = 3.168, p = 0.002). Service quality also has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction (β = 0.684, t = 13.610, p < 0.001). Furthermore, service quality partially mediates the relationship between good governance and patient satisfaction (β = 0.537, t = 11.485, p < 0.001). These findings indicate that governance practices contribute more strongly to patient satisfaction when translated into better service structures, processes, and outcomes. Theoretically, this study advances public administration and healthcare management literature by integrating Governance Theory, Donabedian's healthcare quality model, and the SERVQUAL framework into a single empirical model. Practically, primary healthcare facilities should strengthen transparency, accountability, queue management, complaint handling, and empathetic communication to improve patient satisfaction.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of burnout and boredom on Gen Z employee productivity by positioning positive cyberloafing and digital mindfulness as mediating mechanisms. A quantitative explanatory design was employed to test the proposed relationships. Data were collected from 178 Generation Z employees through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that boredom has a negative and significant effect on productivity, while burnout does not have a significant direct effect. Positive cyberloafing and digital mindfulness have positive and significant effects on productivity. The mediation results further indicate that both positive cyberloafing and digital mindfulness significantly mediate the relationships between burnout, boredom, and productivity. These findings suggest that Gen Z productivity in digital work environments is shaped not only by psychological strain but also by employees' ability to recover and regulate their digital behavior. This study contributes to digital workplace and human resource management literature by reframing cyberloafing as a conditional adaptive mechanism and positioning digital mindfulness as a personal resource for sustaining productivity. Practically, organizations should develop digital well-being policies that support structured digital micro-breaks, mindful technology use, and more meaningful work design.
