Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to describe the types of idiomatic expressions found in Kiky Saputri's stand-up comedy roasting Amin, and (2) to describe the idiomatic functions found in Kiky Saputri's stand-up comedy roasting Amin. The data in this research consists of idiomatic expressions found in Kiky Saputri's and Ate's roasting of Amin. The data source in this research is a video on YouTube titled "Kiky Saputri and Ate roasting Amin." The method used in this research is a qualitative method with data collection techniques, (1) listening to and paying attention to the idiomatic expressions found in the roasting video of Amin, (2) noting the idiomatic expressions that have been identified and correspond with the data in the video, (3) transcribing the video to facilitate the data collection process and to prevent missing idiomatic data in the research. Based on the research results that have been conducted, there are 40 data points divided into 9 full idiom types and 33 partial idiom types. In addition, there are also idiom functions. The function as advice appears in 9 data, the function as sarcasm in 23 data, the function as praise in 4 data, and the function as emphasis in 5 data.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the STAD (Student Teams-Achievement Divisions) type of cooperative learning model in the anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a type of library research. Data collection was carried out using the observation and note-taking technique on dialogues and scenes that represent the five STAD syntaxes equipped with document studies on. Data analysis techniques through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study reveal: (1) The material presentation focused on building positive interdependence , such as team exercises that emphasize "one member's failure is the team's failure." in Episodes 12, 15, 37, and 38; (2) Group division in Episode 38 work is realized through dividing heterogeneous teams with collaborative tasks in the Byakuya Gang mission Episode 44; (3) Individual tests in the Chunin Exam measure individual abilities as well as group contributions in Episodes 221 and 223; (4) Assessment of individual progress in episodes 112 and 221 (5) Group awards such as awarding certificates of appreciation in Episode 179 and inauguration of chunin in Episode 227. This study offers inspiration for innovative cooperative learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the denotative meaning and connotative meaning contained in the beguru traditional ceremony of the people of Bener Meriah Regency. This type of research is qualitative. This research was conducted in Bener Meriah Regency from May to June 2025. The data of this research is in the form of sentences. The data source of this research is traditional leaders in Bener Meriah Regency. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews, documentation and notes. Data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the results of the study, seventy data were found which were divided into denotative meaning and connotative meaning, namely denotative meaning totaling 44 data and connotative meaning totaling 46 data.
