Abstract

Education aims to educate students while making them human beings with noble character. However, in this era of increasingly rapid development, character education, especially discipline. In Indonesia, this is increasingly declining, coupled with developments over time which have brought the influence of western culture and local culture to replace it, making it difficult for students' character to be reshaped. The aim of this research is to find out how students' disciplined character education is formed through refraction of school culture and also to find out what factors influence it. This research uses a survey method with a qualitative research type and a descriptive approach, using three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, documentation. The research location is located at MI Salafiyah Kajen, precisely in Kajen village, Margoyoso District, Pati Regency. The subjects in the research were the principal, teachers and students of MI Salafiyah Kajen. The results of the research show that the formation of students' disciplined character education, the formation of students' disciplined character education through familiarization with school culture and the factors that influence it, has been running well and effectively. The formation of disciplined character through these activities is carried out using habituation methods, including: exemplary, routine and spontaneous habituation. The influencing factors are supporting and inhibiting factors from a physical, social and psychological perspective. Supporting factors are the school's way of conditioning students so that the learning process can be carried out well, while inhibiting factors are used as the school's efforts so that every activity carried out can be maximized so that solutions and efforts are needed to overcome them.

Abstract

his research was motivated by students' lack of concentration, especially in Indonesian language subjects. This research aims to determine the use of Big Book media in first grade at MI NU Tharbiyatth Thullab Payaman Mejobo Kudus, because when conducting observations at the school, not all students had a low level of concentration and activeness. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were class I MI NU students Tharbiyatuth Thullab Payaman Mejobo Kudus. The total of 18 students consists of 10 female students and 8 male students. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. Research shows that the use of Big Book media is said to be successfully implemented in lower grades to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, especially learning Indonesian in class I MI NU Tharbiyatuth Thullab Payaman Mejobo Kudus.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan fondasi pertama pembangunan bangsa. Karakter yang baik dibentuk dan dibina sejak dini, karena usia dini merupakan masa penting bagi perkembangan kepribadian. Namun masih ada sebagian siswa yang belum mempunyai kepribadian yang baik. Contohnya seperti cara berpakaian dan berperilaku tidak sopan terhadap guru, kurang disiplin, serta kurang berintegritas dan bertanggung jawab sebagai siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dan melihat apakah penerapan nilai karakter disiplin dan religius dalam pembelajaran PPKn dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan serta mempengaruhi sikap siswa terhadap nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam mata pelajaran tersebut. Metode dalam penulisan adalah dengan metode deskritptif kualitatif, kemudian dilakukan pencarian data-data yang paling relevan dan utama terkait dengan kajian tentang implementasi nilai pendidikan karakter disiplin dan religius yang terdapat di MI Matholi’ul Huda 01 melalui pembelajaran mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VI. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi nilai pendidikan karakter disiplin dan religius pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VI dapat berjalan dengan cukup baik. Pemahaman dan sikap peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VI dapat dikatakan bahwa sebagian siswa telah banyak kemajuan dan memiliki pemahaman untuk mempunyai tindakan disiplin dan religius, namun sebagian peserta didik masih kurang memiliki sikap disiplin dan religius.
