Humans have basic potential in the form of reason and heart, and two dimensions within themselves, namely the physical dimension and the spiritual dimension with these provisions humans can relate to Allah and with other creatures that Allah created. In carrying out life on earth, humans have two important roles, namely being a servant of Allah and a caliph. Humans as servants of Allah means that obedience, submission and obedience are only worthy of being given to Allah. The purpose of this study is to find out how Islam and psychology view humans. This study uses a qualitative approach and literature review method. Based on the results of the discussion, Psychology (Western) gave birth to 3 main theories about humans, namely: 1) Psychoanalysis, which is a school of thought that considers humans as creatures that are always responsive to needs. 2) Behaviorism, which is a school of thought that considers humans as creatures that are driven by the environment; 3) Humanistic psychology, which is a school of thought that describes humans as active actors in formulating transactional strategies in their environment, while in the Qur'an it includes 3 aspects, namely basyar as physical, namely the body like the body, insan as spiritual/mind/heart and our relationship with Allah, and Nass which means our relationship between humans or the social community that exists around the environment.
